Chiamaka01: There's this question that was the subject of controversy in a thread i follow. It goes thus:

On a certain day, a teacher said, 'If yesterday was tomorrow, today would have been Friday.'
What day is today?

I'd really appreciate it if you all commented on this.
Lol! This is a very funny one cos in reality, today is Wednesday. If yesterday was Thursday(tomorrow), today would have been Friday. The answer is Wednesday.

NYSCRe: "Tension" As Batch C 2012 Corp Members Prepare To Pass Out. by Godschild2(m): 11:37am On Sep 16, 2013
lamba lamb: Well, am sure you are very much correct to some extent, at least to an agreeable one. Talking about "certainty" I would say that my knowledge over past times accumulates to the fact that nothing in life is certain, just for theoretical purpose, most occurences in life have a probability of 0.5 which is something in between certainty and uncertainty. In other to further buttress my point with practical examples let's say: for example, what's the chance of a first class degree holder getting a job after NYSC given that every other thing is constant? I guess the answer is in the obvious "= 0.5" which is something in between certainty and uncertainty. Finally, if we factor God into the equations of our lives then it becomes solvable and that is where I agree with you 100 percent.

The compendium is that: with strong hope, faith and trust in our creator then we can expect to have a certain future and that will surely EASE our "Tension".

Me self I be God's child oooh! How things now?
gringrin...Bros abeg you wan scatter my head with mathematics oo!

I just dey o, na back to school things for Estate. Final clearance should start next week.

Dean Olamide: So People without Primary school leaving certificate should not even bother going if they cant find it or trace any.
Sir, I'm not sure about the primary certificate o, but I know they'll ask for the secondary school certificate. I think Emrino is in a better position to confirm if they'll request for primary school certificate.
NYSCRe: "Tension" As Batch C 2012 Corp Members Prepare To Pass Out. by Godschild2(m): 10:29pm On Sep 15, 2013
Mr Lambo!!!...its nice to hear from you again via this medium.

Oh yes! "Tension"...To me, I believe it occurs as a result of uncertainty. So many times I have asked & heard people ask the question; After Nysc, What Next?? I don't think I'm wrong if I say a greater percentage of corp members can't supply pragmatic answers to the aforementioned question. Instead we're beginning to shovel it into the family of rhetorical questions...Nigeria! I hail thee!!!

If only GOD can show us where we'll be in the next 2-3 years, I'm certain it would douse our uncertainties, hence, a decline in "Tension"

And as you prayed, only GOD can help us ease our "Tension", I hope majority of us would realize this fact and embrace it.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: NAF Dssc 2012/2013 (Course 21/22) by Godschild2(m): 9:32pm On Sep 15, 2013
Dean Olamide: Thanx anyway my brother maybe i should be more straight....the person actually used 1988 and that 1988 was used on the application and a certificate uploaded used is 1988 and dt to present is 1988 but in d true sense born in 1984 or so... How about that Boss.. Cos she is actually scared if they will go as far as digging records... U will laugh just as i laughed and i told her if year registered and certificate or affidavite carries same year... No problem.. But she wouldnt let me be... Guess no problem for age reduction . Hope u now understand boss
Yeah man, I think I understand you better now. But from what I've heard about screening, those people will try to compare the dates on her certificates to her age. For someone who claims 1988 as her year, its expected of her to finish primary school around 1998/9 & secondary school around 2004/5. That's one of the reasons why they ask for the school leaving certificates too... If that should be the case for her then I think she's safe. But if it is discovered that her primary school certificate carries 1994/5 & WAEC certificates shows 2000/1(for someone that was actually born in 1984)...Then the question she would have to answer is; How did she finish primary school at age 7 secondary school at age 13?

So my brother, its not about the affidavit alone oo, the dates on all her certificates really matter.

Emrino, please I think I need some help here; Last year, Physics & Applied physics respectively were among the vacancies posted online but not this year, the only place where Bsc Physics appeared is under Air Traffic Control. I have a B.Tech in Pure & Applied Physics, is it okay for me to apply? Thanks!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: NAF Dssc 2012/2013 (Course 21/22) by Godschild2(m): 3:31pm On Sep 15, 2013
Dean Olamide: Emrino, no one making mockery of anything here, is as serious as what u cant imagine... Was asked the question and i gave a blunt answer dt nothing will happen... Date of birth it is... Morever how will they actually knw about it been fake..... With ur response it is assume it will creat smthing else for d applicant.... She actually used 1989 instead of 1987 ... But if she presented 1987 certificate will dt still be problem... Though hv given d person ur contact detail to reach u.. But for d benefit of sm people in d house let us see to it here...... As for if its me, brossssss sorry to disppoint u, i will allow d person to move on. As dt is not a problem to me...

Talk to me Emrino
Bro, even though I'm not as versatile as Emrino, the little knowledge I have can suffice to answer your question. The person that has 1987 on her birth certificate & used 1989 to register would be screened out, they expect every information we have supplied to be true. The main purpose of screening is to fish out those who lied or supplied wrong information during application...Hope this helps sir.

eminado: So I shouldn't bother going to the state coordinator but look for someone to collect it.
Bros, I don't know why your LGI directed you to the state coordinator initially. A close friend of mine traveled for his Msc few weeks ago, all the arrangements were between him & his LGI. I can't go into details cos everything is confidential. But since he has directed you to the SC, perhaps you should do that.

I confirmed from a Senior Immigration officer who should be in the know.

Said they would NEVER ask you to pay for a Govt job application. NEVER.

Asked me to write a letter of complaint to the head of Immigration service.

But like they say, "A fool is soon part with his Money"

Lastpage!
Are you serious? "..they would never ask you to pay for a Govt job application. NEVER..."

gringrin...What about NA, NN & NAF applications? Are they free? Or are they private organizations?
