Unbelivable, close to 99% from one region! Was Abike Dabiri right or not when she said 20 out of 21 Nigerians awaiting execution in Indonesia are from Anambra? She was speaking from facts while many were countering her based on sentiment and tribalism. Here is another proof, this is one of the reasons PayPal and many other online businesses don't want to include Nigeria in any financial dealing which is affecting many legitimate users from Nigeria. EFCC should intensify more effort locally while other countries around the world should collaborate with EFCC to flush out fraudsters and drug dealers in their midst. Nigeria, will be great again! And believe me, there is something in the east aside poverty that we are yet to understand, but pushing youngs and adults into drug and fraud related cases than other regions in the country.
In order to get likes you end up sounding foolish. I don’t know the country you’ve been to that’s making you paint every easterners as fraudulent person. In Europe where I am, people from the western part of Nigeria are more into cyber crime (not all westerners here). In Nigeria they’ve also dominate the cyber space but that doesn’t mean we don’t have good people from that region. Nigeria is in a mess today because of bad leadership, people from the northern and western part of Nigeria dominate leadership positions (from presidency to civil servant). Will it be correct for me to say everybody from those regions are responsible for state of the country?

Not only you. I was equally there for few years and I even worked with the Japanese police. They are superficially nice and soulless. I was mentally and emotionally tormented all through my stay there. I even started a new program (Phd) after my MSc, but left to another country when I couldn’t bear it anymore.
Unconquerable:
I lived in Nippon (Japan) for almost 13 years. I must say whoever decides to embark on such in Japan should be willing to die and be cremated. Japanese are naturally quiet but I don’t think any other people in this world are as ruthless and heartless as them. I decided to come back home to Nigeria and even with all the crap here I realize I am better off emotionally and mentally than I was there.

I once gave love a trial. we trusted each other explicitly. I could breathe love. I was working(i made sure I never made the mistake of asking for anything) he was working. he was a single father and I accepted him and is baby (the baby already called me big Mummy). we had goals, dreams, to me, everything was damn set. we were planning to get married,we got the parents involved, excitement was everywhere.... Suddenly, I started seeing him with small small stuffs like nice clothes and perfumes that I knew he didn't buy(we buy on budget) I became inquisitive. I will never check my man's phone.... so I took him out that weekend as usual, made sure he drank double of what he is used too( though he can still talk sense) I started asking questions and he replied (he was now going out with a rich ex who was ready to give him this and that -all material things) I told him that with a steady growth, we will achieve all her promises.......... the next week, he told me not to come to his place again that he will look for another means for us to meet each other by now, I was in tears, I cried my eyes out, what will I tell everybody? for what reason? money? I forgot about my health, bp start to go up.headache.me that have hormonal issues before hmm my body was in a mess. I increased the number of Guinness I took per day, I ate uncontrollably. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I called and called. I cried and cried and yes I ate and ate. I landed in the hospital my blood pressure was high something I never experienced before.................... to cut the long story short, I tooky life my the horn..... I had no savings again all spent at the hospital, I took a loan, and got a room apartment, I changed my church, and changed those contacts (our mutual fake friends) he is now with the woman and I am now with my peace of mind......... ........I Am happy to inform you that as of yesterday, he is looking for a divorce lawyer because everything did not turn out as expected.HE THINKS HE CAN COME BACK AND I LAUGH IN MY LANGUAGE because my peace can not be compromised.

Finally, visa has been approved after many weeks into lectures. I didn’t defer my admission as was suggested by elders here because doing so involves lots of processes which I’m not ready for now.
To those expecting admission, appointments and visa I wish you all the best and success.

Love is beautiful, but the side effect is that it makes you venerable.. it's easier for you to say cause 'you've never been there'. I think it's just for you to decide if you're willing to take the risk. I'm actually not in a right position to be dashing out advice. Good luck
The fear of being disappointed or betrayed by someone I have feelings for has kept me far away from relationship. Taking such risk is what I can’t stand now. I hope someday I will have the courage to do so.

I see most of the comments here, the truth is love blocks your sense of reasoning, you'd do things you never imagined you could do. The prayer is to be with someone who is worth it.
I often hear people talk about love, honestly it’s very strange to me. I’ve never experience it and even if i do I doubt if it will ever come in between my sense of judge. Note: I’m 30+.

3. I want them to stop being lazy, they should enroll into jobs like carpentry, bricklaying, mechanic, conductor, vulcanizer, mixing of concrete, iron bending and driving of big lorries before having the audacity and impetus to ask for equal right with men.

4. I want them to stop being a disgrace to womanhood, they should learn how to make good food like our mothers of then without browsing and watching videos on youtube. Check the phone browsing history of an average Nigerian lady, you'll be seeing things like..."How to parboil maggi, how to wash salt, how to fry water and the rest". I want them to stop it.

5. Lastly, I want them to stop being disrespectful, they should learn how to cherish and respect Nigerian men like Ghanaians.

Please will I have to send my document for TUM via post? I have VPD already
All your documents (including VPD) must be sent to them via traditional post not email (they need it physically (although I also sent it to them via email, this is just to notify them that I’ve received the VPD and that I’ve sent it as well). My VPD and enrollment documents were sent three weeks after the application deadline. And two weeks after that I was offered admission (no interview maybe because of my VPD score and other documents). Winter semester deadline is very close I will suggest you use the fastest mail service.

Wonderful!!

Thank you for the info. Please are you applying for the same course? Also, am I to send certified or non-certified copy of documents after making online application? I just sent you mail to make further equiries.

Thank you.
Sorry my reply is coming late. All certificate or diploma must be certified and they must conform to TUM standard. Go to TUM website and search for certification of document or notary. You will see document stipulating how a certify copy should look like and who is authorized to certify your document, and also how to certify multiple pages of documents (like transcript). During my time the first set documents I sent were rejected because they were wrongly certified.

Evening bro, Applying to TUM at this time is late in my opinion, the application deadline for almost all their courses is 31st of May and you need to first get VPD from uni-assist before your application can be processed, the lead time for getting the VPD is approximately 3wks so it is practically not possible to meet up with TUM deadline at the this time.
I got the message from TUM while seeking for admission:
Thank you for contacting the Hotline of the Student Service Center.

The VPD can be sent to us after the deadline. However, uni-assist must receive your documents and your payment before the deadline.

I know someone who got to germany 7 weeks after lectures started. he said it was difficult to catch up and he had to drop some courses (Schooling in Germany no be beans). So it depends on you and your course. If it's engineering, I will advise you defer to next semester so that you can be ready. But if you feel that you can catch up, then fine.

I did my enrollment in proxy and funded before visa interview. It’s been 4 weeks into lectures now and I’m not yet in Germany because of delay in visa. The last info I got from the embassy is that my visa application is still under review. Since lectures have already started, would this negatively affect the outcome of visa?

Please take your question to the Student thread. This thread is about student life, work and living in Germany overall. Questions about applications, visa, schools etc should be asked in the student thread.

I know about the rules and I believe people on this section are either in Germany or once studied in Germany. I would like to know if they’ve met someone who was offered visa even after missing some classes. I believe that majority of those on student visa section are applicant who may not have such info. Thanks.

I don’t know if this is the right section to bring this up; I’m doing it because I believe those here are current or former student in Germany. I was offered admission to study in Munich (MSc). I did my enrollment in proxy and funded before visa interview. It’s been 4 weeks into lectures now and I’m not yet in Germany because of delay in visa. willy2000:

This is not true? In my school no one takes attendance, it is even a law in Bayern Universities, attendance is not important and your grades are not sent to anybody, that is why there are data privacy laws. Even your professors can only see which modules you have taken if they are not his modules and not your total grades. I have taken exams without attending the classes. The downside is, it is usually difficult to pass but it is doable.
The major issue is, after three semesters you are not allowed to change your University anymore.
And you are given a stipulated amount of time to finish the program, my school gives max six semesters for a master program, even if you fail a module more than 3 times, it does not affect your status or your grade. However, this is not usually the norm in other schools.

People just want to Bleep anyhow without considering the consequences.
You have point though. Things may not work the way they planned. They may have good plan at the beginning of child rearing, then down the line things may completely change especially in Nigeria where things doesn’t work properly. And also remember we have no control over who our parents are and the type of family to be born into.

My brother this is true. Even if na for your frnd house try commit your papa house. I was already paying for my PhD degree in my father's house. I stood up and told myself, I will not earn a doctorate degree in my father's house. I left last year January, with just bed in my house, no chair not tv. Three weeks to my 30th bday, I had my viva voce and had my own house. We thank God for everything, not looking down on the struggles of others.
The situation you described is only suitable for those whose parents and siblings are independent (the parents pay their rent and takes care the rest children if any). However, if you’re the one who pays your parents and siblings rent, and also take care of their living expenses with perhaps your little income you will understand that it will be unwise to rent additional accommodation for yourself when you’ve not achieve any financial stability whether at 20, 30 or 40. People go through a lot, don’t just use your situation to judge others.

You did the right for humanity. Your outburst made me to realize that Nigeria has been taken over by fraudsters (the politicians and media influencers). I never knew that some of the music I listened to were released by fraudsters and those that support this show of shame. I deeply fear for the future of our children, I wonder what they will inherit from us.
