I don't know about the six times he was offered conditional freedom but this is from his Wikipedia page ' in February 1985 Botha
offered him a release from prison on

organisation of the people [ANC] remains
banned? Only free men can negotiate. A

Talking about the military wing of the ANC the fact remains he founded it and its technically a terrorist organisation so he is responsible. How come people still hold soyinka responsible for introducing cultism to nigerian universities.

Others have gone to jail too or even murdered for a cause they believed but not everyone of them gets the hero status mandela is getting.

Though I hate to use the work impossible but I couldn't find a more palatable word in this case. Adidas is multi-billion dollar company that can boost of the crème de la crème of sportswear designers. There is too much at stake here;Contract terms, Intellectual property, Company pride etc to even look at your design.

You are obviously skilled so I would advise you approach local clubs to start with, then you can think of growing upwards... Besides try to make your fonts look consistent and do something about the #7 on the last design, it looks like an overlay that is not part of the jersey. The "pattern designed by ......" don't look professional or consistent either.

The Central Bank of Nigeria and the Bankers Committee on
Tuesday sealed a biometric solution pact with a German
Firm, Dermalog, for the development of a payment system
that would be driven by fingerprints.
The move, according to the Governor, CBN, Mr. Lamido
Sanusi, will help to revolutionise the country’s payment
system.
For instance, unlike the current practice where different
instruments are used as means of identification, bank
customers will from 2014 be identified through their
fingerprints.
Sanusi, while speaking at the signing of the agreement,
which was held at the central bank’s headquarters in Abuja,
noted that the system would become operational on
February 14, 2014.
The move followed the recommendation of a sub-
committee chaired by the Group Managing Director, Zenith
Bank Plc, Mr. Godwin Emefiele.
The committee, made up of the Group Managing Directors
of Access Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, United
Bank for Africa Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and Skye
Bank Plc, had shortlisted Dermalog as the company to
develop a database for the banking sector.
Emefiele said, “The company that was awarded the contract
has been given a very ambitious deadline, and before the
contract was awarded, it agreed that it would deliver in 90
days.
“The first phase of the project will connect the central data
to the banks as well as the central bank and the Nigeria
Interbank Settlement System. We believe that the company
will do so, and by February 14, 2014, we are all very
optimistic and looking forward for a gift from the banking
industry.
“The cost of the project is above $50m and the banks, in
their wisdom and in line with their collaborative efforts, are
going to be sharing the cost of the project, and no customer
is going to be charged for this project.”
Explaining the reason for the project, Sanusi said it would
help to provide a single biometric database that would
serve the purpose of authentication as well as address the
issues of money laundering, fraud, credit extension and
financial inclusion.
He said, “The vision is that this will go beyond the banks
and it is a very tight deadline that I have set for the
committee and the committee has discussed with
Dermalog; and in three months, we can officially say that
every single Nigerian bank is connected to the system; and
hopefully in the coming months, we will expect every
customer of every branch of every bank in Nigeria to have
complied to this, but it goes beyond the banking system.
“We have about a thousand microfinance banks; we have
customers of pension fund administrators; we have
customers of insurance companies; we have people who
deal with the stock market, and the vision for this is that
everyone that deals with the financial system should have
his biometric data captured, and this will be used for
identification, verification and authentication.”
Sanusi said the project would not have any negative impact
on the national identity card project, adding that the
biometric database of the banking sector would help to
complement the Federal Government’s identity
management project.
He said, “For a long time, we have been waiting for the
national identity card system and progress is being made,
and I will like to use this opportunity to let everybody
understand that the banking industry project is not in any
way incompatible with the national identity process.”

A staff nurse at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital,
Ado Ekiti, was on Monday beaten up by family members of
a female patient (name not given) who died in the hospital
following a health complication.
It was learnt that the nurse was beaten by children and
relatives of the deceased who were at the hospital when the
woman died.
The patient, who was diagnosed with a terminal liver
illness, died few days after she was admitted at the
hospital.
Eyewitnesses said that the enraged relatives held the hands
of the nurse back while she was being beaten.
An official of the hospital said, “To us, this was not a
reprimand by the relatives of the patient but a clear case of
an attempt to kill an officer of the state.
“We are used to verbal attacks and other forms through
which patients’ relatives react to the death of their loved
ones but this is different.
“The intention was to kill the staff on duty and that is
worrisome.”
Acting Chief Medical Director of EKSUTH, Dr. Kolawole
Ogundipe, said, “The patient was suffering from a terminal
liver illness. She had been kept at a faith-based home for
months before she was brought to the hospital when they
saw that her condition deteriorated.
“At the ward, all the medication due to the patient was
served by the nurse. The family failed to conduct the tests
prescribed by the doctors; they even failed to buy the
prescribed drugs for the patient.
“While the nurse on duty was waiting, the patient’s
condition deteriorated and the nurse gave her the necessary
injection. The relatives claimed that the injection given by
the nurse caused her death. That was why they transferred
their emotion on the nurse.
“Two of the deceased’s daughters attacked our staff, held
her hands and tried to choke her.
The acting CMD said a security man on duty was also
attacked and injured, “We have since reported the case to
the police. We petitioned the Commissioner of Police, Ekiti
State, Mr. Sotonye Wakama, on the matter. We have called
for autopsy to determine the actual cause of the patient’s
death to clear all doubts,” he said.
Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Command, Victor
Babayemi (ASP), said, “We have received the report and
investigation is being carried out on the matter”.

sanb: My take on this...No offense guys; but some guys come across as arrogant in their manner of approach and speaking when toasting a lady.

For me, the way I’ll like to be approached is listed below:

1)I’ll like a guy to be relaxed, don’t look agitated or nervous cos that’ll make me nervous too;

2)Don’t beat round the bush i.e. be direct as well as polite and do so in a confident manner;

3)The conversation you start with me has to flow easily i.e. don’t come with a rehearsed script cos I’ll easily know as I’ve got the detective skill and that’ll put me off i.e. it might result in me giving you the answer NOT INTERESTED;

4)Don’t rely too much on tips; i.e. 10 ways to woo a woman, 20 ways to toast a lady or 50 ways to ask a lady out..huh!!! I get tired myself sometimes when I read them cos most times, these tips don't necessarily work for everyone; and

5)Lastly, be your natural self and don’t come across as being artificial or egocentric cos you’ll only score zero in my book.

but on the first point,it's only natural for u to be nervous when u don't know what to expect or what the outcome of an event will be.just like going for an interview or expecting a result u naturally feel nervous won't u?so i think u also have a role to play by making the guy feel relaxed around u even if he's not ur type of guy
