Some of these cosmetic changes do not necessarily translate into successes......There should be less political interference..... focus7:Go get a feel of how the institutions of the Nigerian state are run and are funded.............. All Revenue accruals are kept to shared amongst the 3 different tiers of government along parameters set down by RMFAC......... Both PGEJ and NOI, put up spirited resistance to the clamour by the 36 state governors for the sharing of the accruals saved in the ECA.......after blackmail in the press and a suit instituted at their behest.....the FG agreed to the sharing of what had been saved in that pool..... NOI, then proposed recourse to another saving alternative..... The Sovereign Wealth Fund.....which met another set of backlash from the 36 state governors with another law suit........but the FG stuck to its guns.....and that is all that we have as savings........ We get told he snubbed....a Rolls brought to ferry him around the streets of UK...... I would have bought this cock and bull story hook line and sinker.....if GMB had traveled out on Friday....in economy class......he did not and has never done so since 2014....... Even back home here.....he struts around capitals traversing the length and breath of the country in chartered private jets......... It is a culture.....that the PSC.......is he to fathom an appropriate strategy to overcome..........and it does tell on the moral of officers in the police....... |

Lay a hold on any of theses cab drivers they should be able to direct you to where you can find a competent mechanic to fix your car as well ad where they source for their car replacements spares. You can alternatively, undertake the trip to nearby Aba, Abia state.....along the Port Harcourt -Aba Expressway Way, by the popular Fly-Over Junction there is a big thriving market for auto spares, more particularly VW spares.....You can make the day trip to & fro Calabar.....if it become necessary. |

Once again Oby Ezekwesili lied her hearts out in the course of her interview session with Aljezeera's Mehdi Hasan....when she claimed not to be a 'politician'.....and yet found herself qualified to be nominated, screened, appointed and then did indeed serve as a minister under OBJ in the Ministries of Solid Mineral Resources and Education.......Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili was at the time of her appointment as a servicing minister in the il-lfamed OBJ corruption ridden government.... an acknowledged card carrying member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).....as this was a condition precedent prezcribed for in the 1999 Constitution mandatorily prescribed for qualification which any nominee for appointment for a ministerial appointment......She met these criteria, was screened by the law enforcement agencies, prior to OBJs presentation of her nomination to the Senate of the NASS for confirmation..... For the avoidance of doubt.....the relevant provisions of the 1999 Constitution are reproduced hereunder: Section 147 (5) states: " No person shall be appointed as a Minister of the Government of the Federation unless he is qualified for election as a member of the House of Representatives. Section 65(1) provides thus: " Subject to the provisions of Section 66 of this Constitution, a person shall be qualified for election as a member of: (b) the House of Representative, if he is a citizen of Nigeria and had attained the age of 30 years; Finally, Section 65 (2) provides: "A person shall be qualified for election under subsection (1) of this Section 65 if: (b) he is a member of a POLITICAL PARTY and is sponsored by that party".... And to think that she professes to be a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of Christ is to say the least appalling if one were to be civil and charitable to her....or the act of self conceitedly lying to save face is neither immoral nor qualifies as a corrupt act or conduct within the ranks of the APC......in as much as they are the doers of such despicable things..... |
