Hmmmmm......at the sound of words asserting millions in naira my compatriots go haywire and call out everyone as a thief.
I've struggled to find out in the story as reported where it was stated that the source of the $2.2million dollars could or had illicit origins.
The charges simpliciter hover around lying to investigating officers about the ownership of the funds and attempting to effect payments for transactions in cash above prohibited thresholds.......

For the records this is a rather stale story of an unfortunate incident involving a Dad and his deceased son in Abuja some years back.
Yes...the dearth of the requisite infrastructure & facilities to afford this young father the appropriate mode for conveying the corpse of his deceased son home for burial had necessitated and constrained him into taking these dire steps, which very well nearly cost him his own life too.......and has continued to earn him self conceited opprobrium we see being heaped on him......

Well for your information..... Distinguished Senator Ali Ndume is from Borno State.....the hotbed of the Boko Haram fundamentalist insurgents Islamization experiment........
He is presently standing trial for his association with the group at the Federal High Court.........
On the issue of his recall.....that would never happen.... Guess what & why......majority of his constituents who would participant in the process of his recall are either all dead or living as IDPs in States farther off from Borno State........
And gauging from past experiences, they've learnt never to be seen or assembled in groups lest they fall victims of the incessant Boko Haram bombing expeditions targeted at them ........moreso, when the subject of such gatherings is an alleged associate of the group......

Yes.....proprietors of filling stations in the country would continue to be beset with this challenge since they've elected to play dumb to safety measures in their operations......
All the major filling stations from the NNPC Mega station, MRS, Conoil have all gone up in flames because of failure to heed basic safety procedures....
The erstwhile FCT minister had at one time admonished pump station owners to discharge products much later in the day at night or the early morning given the hot weather being experienced now alongside adhering to prescribed safety rules......
They'll rather want to flunk the rules and watch their investments go up in flames and clamour for undeserved public sympathies.....

Ahh.....gullible Nigerians fall for the same old trick the military plays when it struggles in a civility in asking 'bloody'old civilians to face their front and mind their own matter........
I remember about the last quarter of 2014, viral pictorial evidence equally popped up showing fresh cadets unleashed by their instructors at the NDA Kaduna frog jumping civilian motorists.......with the DHQ through the then defense Spokesperson Gen Chris Olukolade promising that they'll investigate and punish the culprits.....
Damn it every Soldier cum.military personnel in Nigeria had done this.......it is ingrained into them....

In this case, you'll need the electric mechanisms, switches and wiring harness from a 2004-2009 Toyota Corolla. The 2006 Corolla is part-wired for electric window operation, meaning the plugs the OEM wiring harness plugs into is already in place.

The OEM electric window mechanisms are simple bolt-on affairs, the doors have the corresponding holes in place.

You'll need to plug in a fuse and relay in the vacant positions. Any decent technician should be able to get this done. Estimated time? 3 hours.[/color]

Where was it said that a foreign court is or has issued a judgment on the Nigerian government?
Valid subsisting judgments of country are when the prescribed conditions are fulfilled enforceable in a foreign jurisdiction.......... It is an international law norm that binds nations of the world.....
Well with that judgment now formally registered in the UK.....a part of the EU......it makes its enforcement feasible.....any asset traceable to the Nigerian government would be distrained to meet it.......

This order or directive does not carry weight. Such oral directive on such an important issue that has to do with the administration of criminal justice cannot be made off-handedly in such an environment. The Chief Judge has to issue a Practice Direction to this effect if he is really serious about precluding magistrates from granting Remand orders against persons accused of committing an offence. Even at that, issuing such Direction will run contrary to the intents of ACJA which did not preclude magistrates from exercising their discretion in this regard.

You got it all wrong.....The Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory is the administrative Head of the FCT Judiciary. Secondly the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,1999 [As amended], the FCT High Court Act as well as Section 490 of the ACJA, imbue in the occupant of this High Judicial office with the enabling powers acting alone in his capacity as the Chief Judge of the High Court of the FCT or in consonance with the other members of the Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee (of which he is the statutorily designated Chairman)to make Rules and Practice Directions in respect of matters relating to the effective implementation of the provisions of the ACJA.......
The Federal Prisons in Suleja [Niger State], Kuje [FCT] and the facility in Keffi [Nasarawa state] are all federal prisons where both yet to be formally convicted awaiting trial and formally convicted prisoners are held in custody whenever they are tried in either the Magistrates and High Courts which are all under the supervision of the Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory........
