jedisco: Hehe.. Mk I go find that video watch. Saw the headline (and picture of a shocked reporter) among all of Trumps doings but not watched it. Interesting times- it appears the hegemony of the one united west against the global south is under threat. I'd expect China to become more aggressive when making inroads and offering deals in the coming years.
I'm encountering interesting conversations these days. Is speaking against America's current economic policy antagonising the west? Should we all chorus the current U.S govts propaganda as we are now in the west? Honestly it’s just confusion galore so tey our prime minister don Dey jam talk 😂 as the man is trying to become more Torries than the Torries themselves, how can you say globalisation is over? So which direction is he taking the country to. Anyway make I mechonu as usual. |

Is that not Hypocrisy? Forget story, let America compete fairly truly let’s see. Their stock market worth is from where? Who makes the likes of facebook, apple, google and co worth such billions? You think it’s money only from America? How much tariffs does America pays on all those digital services? The hypocrite here is America if you like continue to feed on MAGA propaganda |

Napoleon55: You and who dey reveal unnecessary hype,u and Andrew? Andrew is filled with bias against Okocha and past Nigeria's great players.
Okocha did not achieve much in club football because of his choices of clubs, but there is nothing hype about Okocha,if anything, he was not much appreciated. I think Andrew is entitled to his opinions and reservations just like any of us. Check even my earlier posts I was the one who even mentioned okocha as the highest afcon scorer for the eagles after Yekini so I don’t even understand what you are attacking me for sef on top okocha matter 😂 after I and Andrew had argued on the matter already so chill. |

ChrisKels: Too many unnecessary infantile comparisons here lately.
Where did Uche play yesterday, and where does he fit in our system? Not really, it's revealing lots of unnecessary hype which is good to straighten up history. For example, it's in this thread that we finally reveal that Samuel Eto achieved much more than George Weah, despite George Weah winning the Ballon d'Or and Eto, who didn't so this comparison argument is good once in a while |

Sugarboyy: Seems you don't know the definition of the word Legacy. There was never a time when Kanu or Mikel were the hearts and main men of their respective clubs in the EPL but Okocha was and till today he is still mentioned and regarded as the best African ever to play in the EPL. Winning tittles as part of a team is different from having a legacy. Mikel all through his years at Chelsea was a fringe player who won tittles using players like Drogba, Lampard and Terry. Same with Kanu for Arsenal who was rated at Arsenal below players like Henry, benkamp, Lurgberg, Pires, Viera, Campbell, A. Cole, etc. Kanu was not even the best in his position when he was at Arsenal, same with Mikel at Chelsea I have made this point before about being the impact player even at club level where Kanu sef still falls short. Osihmen and Lookman are such kind of impact players at club level and ranks even higher than many super eagles players of the past in that regard. |

I didn’t even bash or talked down about his performance for the eagles
I was right afterall What’s my own with premier league, I no get that time jor. Super eagles is my criteria and that’s where I align with baba kogi 45 views. If you’re indeed that excellent as a player it will reflect in both club and international career unfortunately Kanu falls short in that. Even Mikel is way ahead. |

Sugarboyy: Maybe he stated watching Okocha play in 2005-2006 when he was already hanging his boots. Recently Okocha was amongst the African Legends that were called upon for a charity match with the military president of Burkina Faso and these has always been happening all over the world. How many them don called Kanu and others to come play if they had bigger football impacts than Okocha? I think okocha was even more appreciated after retiring than when in active play. The hype around Kanu was more about his coming back to the game after his heart surgery. Players like Amokachie and Amunike are way ahead of Kanu, injuries is what slowed their career down and even forcing them to retire early if not Kanu will be lagging behind them sef. Both were more of game changers. |

andrewbaba44: Ask people Okocha legacy at the premier league ,you will never get a genuine answers from them ,they will tell you how he used to dribble everybody and helped Bolton escaped relegation ,this is a guy with so much hype oo ,at a point self him get hype pass Kanu wey be african king .
Now ask them okocha legacy outside the premier league ,they will go far back to 1952 where he dribbled and made Oliver khan jumped like a frog
Wishing you all a wonderful week 👌 Are you aware Okocha is our second highest Afcon scorer with 7 goals after Yekini? For a Nigerian midfielder that’s massive. Am not a big fan of Jayjay but that’s how influential he is in our football. |

Just seen JLR is suspending shipment of cars to the US…I’m sure other companies will have to react as well. Anyone who has a retirement savings investment is surely impacted and soon if not already happening we may begin to see more layoffs. Anyone in the financial services industry or consultancy should begin to hold night vigil prayers cos it may not be funny. I have colleagues at work who are being told to leave. |

Kog45: Kanu performance in 6 Afcons and 3 WC will always make it debatable to rate him as Nigeria best.
If going by APOTY then Ikpeba is greater than Okocha. All these back and forth for Nigeria’s best player is not as complex but our people no go ever gree. For me it’s simple a player who scored 13 Afcon goals, has APOTY, has Afcon title shouldn’t be too difficult to know and that’s Rashidi Yekini. We forget that the players who have ucl titles and other European titles had if not far better players in the squad they played in. As a matter of fact a Lookman with his hatrick in a europa final dwarf the other Nigerian players who have won other titles because of that master performance. This is where Yekini stands out yes people will say there were players feeding him but no be some players they feed Dey throw away chances anyhow? A player whose goal scoring record has endured for many years says so much about such player. |

Goodenoch: Correct but irrelevant.
You were the one who started with the complaining comparisons, and there was no mention of being law abiding and patriotic etc because that’s irrelevant.
The vast majority of immigrants are incredibly hard working and law abiding as well, so that’s irrelevant as well.
The only reason you’re bringing these up now is because you want to reinforce that immigrants shouldn’t be speaking up about anything, like the way you said black people (not even just people from that person’s country) shouldn’t be crying when they are profiled after the crimes by a random black person. 😂 in fact there’s nothing more to add cos she cornered herself with all the talk of hardworking and patriotism as if we are terrorists, only God can rescue us from all these stereotypes, aah no be small thing o! |
