I'm yet to understand why favorite players are reserved to take last penalties. Any reasons in particular?

I mean what if they don't get the opportunity just like we have seen in many occasions.

Oshoala should have taken the first penalty.
make we forget the match jor, Technical ability remains the bane of African soccer. They had all the time to finish off the English girls especially when they had the one-woman advantage.

Please I need some guidance, advice and feedback...

I have two offers which I am divided on which to choose

I am through with my MSc in Data Science here and already on tier 2 courtesy of my wife who got a sponsored support work

The first offer is a prison officer with a starting salary of 28k.

The second offer is a Department of Education Financed training to be a physic teacher with a bursary of 28k for 10 month, I will be paid 19k while 9k will go to the Secondary school providing the training which is affiliated to a university. At the end I will be given QTS ( qualifications to teach) and a PGCE. Now at the end of the training, I am required to look for a teaching job.

Please I need a guidance on which to go, given the peculiarity of this country.

September is start date for both.

Do not mind any grammatical error.
Note I can't do both given the way the training is structured
with an MSc in data science, why don't you consider a career in Data Analysis, and look for Graduate roles in big firms like the Big 4 or Engineering firms, that will launch you into big-time jobs in the future. The two offers you have right now are not related to that. If you have a passion for teaching though I will suggest you go for the secondary school job. But I just think you deserve much more than what you currently have. Go for the teaching job but please start aiming higher for a career in Data Analysis or Data Engineering

I barely see people talk about Ireland and wales here. Discussion is always surrounding England and Scotland I will like to know why this is so. Don't we have Nigerians living in Wales and Ireland these two countries are also a part of UK.

Just sharing my thoughts because I really want to know more about Ireland and securing a graduate job their. Also I will like to know about their child care because I look forward to giving birth in the nearest future. I just need to know more and awaits my graduation.

Thank you guys.
There is an ever-growing population of Nigerians in Wales from Newport, Cardiff to Swansea. The challenge is Wales do not have plenty of sponsorship jobs so most Nigerians don't settle finally in Wales but those who manage to settle want to have nothing to do with England as Wales is a very peaceful place to raise a family and just live a quiet peaceful life. Medical treatment from the Nhs is completely free as there is no payment for prescription at all.

Company A : permanent.
Company B: contract

B already have a start date of 2nd week of August.

A is still doing check, tho, references completed.

Which is better,
Communicate with A if they can fast track the screening process and tell them a little about B.

Or start with B with the mind of leaving soon.

Note: A is my preferred choice
Go for A since it’s your preferred choice, don’t confuse yourself please.

The only thing that will remove Tinubu from that seat is possibly death.
Let’s face reality, I have never heard anywhere in the world where this happened not to talk of Africa.
Even when trump was impeached, he finished his tenure
Life is not a nollywood where the good guys always defeat the bad guys. Or expecting a plot twist like movies. This is real life
Lots of folks don’t understand the implications of national security. It’s in the interest of national security that makes it difficult for a sitting president to be removed. Once there is a legal backing for the election of a sitting president, it’s done and dusted. The courts are just there for grievances to be expressed instead of people taking to the streets.

Proofs of rigging are all over the place beginning with disabling of the system for electronic transmission of vote results. Only a foolish arbiter will believe that the system just went bang - off - for nothing. That's a circumstantial evidence anyway. Those judges can't afford to to take Nigeria backwards because of common Tinubu. Nobody will ever believe INEC in future if the judges ignore the overwhelming proofs of rigging during the last presidential election. No judges will like to kill democracy in Nigeria and be forced to exile by mass protest because of an old certificate forgery expert and drug trafficking baron.
Electronic transmission is not known to law.

You guys should manage your emotions, the election has been won and lost. Try again in 2027

Any court that approves Tinubu as president of Nigeria risks judges of the court going to exile from Nigeria.
Never in the history of Nigeria was presidential election so brazenly rigged in a most primitive way.
Are you the one that will send them on exile?

We are yet to see any proof of rigging so far presented at the tribunal

This fixation on Lagos is becoming something else.

It’s high time, the true indigenes of Lagos begin to reject their state as ground for all manner of political correctness and experiment. More Killings are happening in most other states but no one focuses on them and the killings continue there.

The endsars things is purely political and those originally from Lagos need to rise up before the state continues to be a thing of tussle among folks who are not originally from the state.

Lagos is no longer FCT, let it breathe please

Goke7,

The guy didn't say the truth, he made ridiculous sweeping generalisations about Igbo people.

I myself know Igbo people who are ashamed of the behaviour of Obidients on social media. Why should they be thrown in the same group as people whose views they don't share?

If he replaced Igbo's with Obidients, those terms are not and will never be interchangeable by the way, I would wholeheartedly agree with the post.

Obidients are bullies and a social media nuisance, of that I am convinced. However, not all Igbo's are Obidients and not all Obidients are Igbos, we need to ALWAYS bear that in mind.
I know we are all trying to be politically correct but we all know the people who went to court to try and stop the swearing in and inauguration which is consistent with their behaviour over the years in our political space.

Whether we like it or not they are the ones powering the obedients, the day they off the engine that movement will die off immediately

I think you are wrong about Igbo people and the sweeping generalisation you are making is grossly unfair.

Every subgroup has a set of useless people, they should not define that group.

The only exception to the above are Obidients, sense far from all of dem.

Please let's all be better at having discussions without needlessly heating the polity, me included. You never know who the Lord will send aa your's and your family's helper
The guy you quoted said the truth. Deal with it and talking about heating the polity, the elections are over and with tribunal so far we all know where it is headed, those heating the polity now are the ones that know they will lose out so it’s not the guy you quoted that is trying to heat up the polity but the election losers.
Let’s not alway try to change the narratives about those who actually brought us to where we are now.

Obi’s case is like someone scoring 65% in an exam but 70% is the cut off mark.

Dude should rest, he gave a good fight but did not win the election, no amount of discrediting both the election and the winner can get him anywhere, kolewerk

Because Tinubu with his Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket polarised the election on religious groups, Alhajis Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwankwaso, unarguably shared the votes of their religious and ethnic constituencies and made Peter Obi win the presidential election with a wide margin.
Even you yourself know this.
What made Mahmood Yakubu disable the system for electronic transmission of vote results after voters had cast their votes, if not that Yakubu unexpectedly noticed that Peter Obi was leading by a very wide margin in the polls?
were there any other results or figures tendered before the tribunal? what is the primary source of the data?
