On the flip side, I think we (Nigerians) don't travel enough especially within Africa and we don't read enough about the rest of Africa & Africans. No, the situation is different now, the contemporary world is now all about alignment. The only reason military coup was popular then is because of foreign interest or influence.

Once there is no real interest/influence from a powerful blocs, the other sections of the country that have competitive advantages will be listen to by international community.
