Big issue with Zaidu is his crosses when he overlaps. You see this thing? I just try to behave as if I don’t see such here but it’s becoming too disturbing of late. |

A man of peace wouldn't turn the National Army of his country against his own people and talk carelessly. I have never seen an American President disrespect the American people like this. I grew up in envy of how American Presidents respect their people even the two George Bush, Reagan, Clinton and the others except this tout of a President. 😂 That’s how he makes peace by threatening and bullying people with violence! Note: My argument is, the club a goalkeeper is playing does not really determine how good he is. mad o! |

The fact shows that Yekini had already scored 20 goals in the National Team before either Okocha or Oliseh made their debut.
Let's leave this narrative and move on,abeg. 😂 you don’t know people on this thread tomorrow that’s how they will argue that osihmen was spoon fed too! Very typical, That’s how one was arguing the other day that apart from the 3 goals Ademola scored in a europa final what else has he done. aylipple: I watched for the first 3 minutes and I was actually impressed; that guy the interview started with represented Rwanda very well! Guy has explored more Nigerian foods than actual Nigerians themselves.
On the flip side, I think we (Nigerians) don't travel enough especially within Africa and we don't read enough about the rest of Africa & Africans. I'm not sure if it's the economy or our lack of interest in anything/anyone outside Nigeria (maybe 'coz we've got too much problems of ours to be bothered about what/who doesn't concern us directly).
Aside the well-known Rwandan genocide & how clean and beautiful Kigali is, I doubt up to 70% of Nigerians (yours truly inclusive) know anything else about that country. Those who say "traveling is education" or something like that didn't lie. We don’t see travel as educational but only for money na water purposes. We just lack a sense of collective awareness, it’s just about I and I myself alone then blame others when you’re not happy and attack those you feel are happier. Sometimes I think it’s also some form of mental illness to just see all that’s bad about yourself and not ponder about the good things others think about you |
Politics › Re: Amnesty International Condemns Crackdown On FreeNnamdikanu Protesters by Goke7: 6:08pm On Oct 20, 2025 |
hotseat: Amnesty International is beginning to appear as an agent of destabilization, particularly in Nigeria.
Their primary and usual focus remains Nigeria!
In the USA, DT is running riot on non-Republican States by sending in Federal Troops against the wishes of the affected states.
He (DT) calls Americans who dare criticize his unconstitutional madness as "enemies from within".
DT has been extrajudicially bombing boats in faraway Venezuela in the guise of targeting/fighting drug trafficking.
Amazingly, you won't hear even a whimper coming from Amnesty International.
But as soon as a pin drops in Nigeria, they become more Nigerians than Nigerians themselves.
They (Amnesty International) should be reminded that no country would sacrifice its sovereignty for some "Convenant" or "Charter" just to satisfy the sinister motives of some mischief-makers.
It's high time that they are called to order by the Nigerian authorities.
@hotseat It’s indeed a crazy world of double standards. |

Once there is no real interest/influence from a powerful blocs, the other sections of the country that have competitive advantages will be listen to by international community. This is what many don't understand: not all parts of the country will support a coup |

QueenJazz: Lol. Majority of African Twitter is rooting for Gabon against Nigeria in the upcoming playoffs because of the Burkina Faso situation. This is hilarious, but it also shows you how easy it is for people to be dishonest and argue out of ignorance with all confidence.
I can understand getting upset that the rules didn't favor you, but trying to make it come across like it was Nigeria's fault is where these bumbling clowns lose me. That's the current world that we live in: a David vs Goliath mentality and entitlement. We are just being scapegoated because of our huge profile in football. It's now left to our players to do the talking on the pitch and shame these haters. I also think the Burkina Faso military ruler will evoke some sympathy, which is why I will always say we Nigerians should be careful how we overrate these other African countries out there. |

HustlaOfLagos: Decided to look at some of this campaign promises and the approach to immigration is just funny
Farage said he would entirely abolish indefinite leave to remain (ILR), which is open to people who have worked and lived in the UK legally for five continuous years, and their dependants. After a minimum of a year on that status, people can apply for British citizenship, though each stage comes with considerable fees.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/sep/22/farage-vows-to-scrap-settled-status-placing-thousands-at-risk-of-deportation
Do they bother to think before spewing stuff like this? No immigrant who would have alternatives will stick around for crap like this or do they think immigrants just pick money on the floor in London?.
This will ultimately leave them with immigrants with no alternatives who probably be "lowly skilled" which means the solution solves nothing
They just have to say something to grab votes most time they will end up not doing anything too differently from previous governments. Just look at America now after promising to make America first the people are now hearing that over 40 billion dollars is going to Argentina while health subsidies for Americans will be scrapped 😂 even Qatar will now have an airforce facility in the US. Remember Brexit they promised heaven and earth only to open the flood gates for all sorts of immigrants like Ukrainians, hongkongers, Afghans etc which are actually the figures that shot net migration up than students and work visas. At the end Keir starmer and the Labour govt may actually be the ones to actually reduce net migration compared to the noisy Torries or Reform |
