I love ESPN abeg. South Africa qualified, but Nigeria's second round qualification na the main news worthy of coverage. Dem no send Mzansi papa. 🤣🤣🤣

If not for bad government in all sectors, we know who the real giant of Africa is. 😝
I talk am here that someone needed to send a text to the coaching crew that we needed more goals. Thanks to Colin

You guys that were around to watch Yekini, was this how he made the country feel?

Because mannn I'm so proud and grateful for Osimhen. To think he was so close scoring all the four goals by himself. Ah omoooo, that self confidence is enough for 10 men
Yekini was the only player back in the days of Westerhof who could walk into the starting line-up even if he reported late to camp, in fact if Yekini has not arrived Westerhof will almost be pissing in his pants, that's how indispensable he was, and those days especially if we are playing smaller nations, you can be sure of at least two goals from him. He was a joy-giver per excellence.

It's one major reason, no matter what anyone says about Osihmen, I will forever be among the 'Yes' men for the player, cos I understand the kind of treasure such a player is.

Lookman does not see himself as a supplier. He sees himself as the main guy. Of course, we need another person with a main man mentality like Osimhen but Lookman overdoes it. Even Osimhen is very unselfish.

The reason Chukwueze shone today is that whether by instruction or by his own self motivation, he decided to be a supplier today and it paid off. He was highly instrumental to the outcome of today's game. From the moment Lookman got the yellow card, I was relieved and I predicted that our game was in Chukwueze's hands.

The reason Rashidi shone at Afcon 94 was because of Oliseh. Oliseh was giving the Baba, telegraphic passes.

Osimhen needs an Oliseh.

Oliseh was the secret to our midfield. He was a combination of Mikel and Onyedika and Onyeka and Ndidi. He was too good - a DM who was a deep lying midfielder and orchestrator.
At the friendlies in London earlier in the year, we saw Chuks playing that number 10 role, and he shone like a star. I had thought Chelle would continue with that experiment, looks like he's scared cos I don't understand why chuks was subbed out, except he got injured. But I think we have a make-shift playmaker role in Chuks with those two assists he gave Osihmen in the first half. Chuks is a major reason we have a 4-0 nil victory

While you are right about the freekick prowess of George Hagi(The Carpathian Maradona) you intended to say Hristo Stoichkov's disallowed freekick goal for Bulgaria on our debut at USA 94. THEY ARE 2 DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS
Thanks for the correction I have surely missed up Hagi and Stoichov, oh my! grin

Nwabali matter don tie wrapper, abeg what should we do cos we are rejoicing now but this is the 3rd match in a row with such carelessness. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the end. It's a straight goal in Europe.

Galatasaray is not a mediocre club in the comity of European Clubs .
This is a team that beat Arsenal in the final of the then UEFA Cup(is it 2001 or 2002) parading the likes of George Hagi of Romania, Hakan Sukur, Hasan Sas to mention but a few of the bulk of Turkish players that helped Turkey place 3rd in the 2002 World cup. I think at a time they also paraded Mario Jardel.
Omo, those are beasts of players back then. Hakan Suhur and George Hagi, oh Lord, mhen. A free kick for Hagi is almost like a penalty.

oga I no follow u dey watch back of tv. Even if the game ended 3-0 or even 2-0 the boys played exceptionally well which is a sign that they understand Chelle’s tactical demands now

I watch the game from start to finish so nothing u fit talk wey go mk me think otherwise

Tactically this is Chelle’s best game with the super eagles since he took charge. Not because of the score line but how the boys executed his plans on the pitch.
No worry I go bookmark this 😂

Well, he got away with what should probably have been a clean goal today
He should be grateful the referee was that lenient
Another referee would have awarded that goal straight up

Did you also notice he dropped the ball again today?
That could have gone anywhere..

I like the guy
But he needs to get himself together
He needs to be talked to and avoid dropping the ball for no reason especially in the play offs any slip up he’s going the uzoho way. Let his family and close friends give him last warning

Osimhen really scored 6 goals in this WCQ despite missing the first 4 games. So crazy
He probably would have surpassed Yekini record by now if he played those earlier games

South Africa draw with Zimbabwe might be a calculated move. If they had won that match, 6 point would've been deducted from them, and they would have dropped below qualification line.

Match fixing is real in football.

THIRDLY, KNOW THAT TWITTER IS AVAILABLE. AND AN ABOUT TO BE LAUNCHED SOCIAL MEDIA APP CALLED IN NIGERIA SO BE HONEST IN YOUR ACTIVITIES AS MODERATORS(AS I TRIED TO UNDERSTAND YOUR SHAMELESS RATIONALE FOR PUTTING SOME

If the team dont get that one more goal, then they have rubbished Osimhen's hattrick effort.

Get one more and secure playoffs contention!!! For goodness sake!!!
They are simply not good enough we have struggled to score without osihmen it’s time to begin to call the other experienced players out this is an eye sore even if we get to the play offs is this what we will play?
