IBBG: for your information i don't live in Lagos, and will never wish to live in Lagos. I just have sympathy for those living there cos the place is so jam packed, such that life will always be difficult for you there irrespective of how much earn for a living. Efforts should be geared towards decongesting that city instead it is being jam packed the more. Living in Lagos is nightmare I will never wish to experience even though I've visited there on a few occasions. And each time I've always been eager to leave that city. Those who live there are really strong It is a choice. There are many densely populated cities in the world. Decongesting Lagos is the duty of the other state governors and the presidency. Lagos would do what it can in the mean time. |

chigoizie7: What is he contesting for? President of Lagos state or president of Nigeria?
Unfortunately he will never be the president sha, you can hit your head on the wall if what I said is not okay with you, I don’t care. We'll sew about that. I'm sure you think Obi would be president. |

chigoizie7: “Once that is sorted” it am glad you said this. Unfortunately it hasn’t been sorted. Until it is sorted, let him focus on the first things first. The very first post I made concerning this addressed the issue of sorting the first things out . Count 1 before you count 2. It has been sorted. I asked why people are still trooping into Lagos if there are no jobs? Answer it if you can. |

aviara: Lagos state has never had a robust and comprehensive housing scheme like what Lateef Jakande did. Lagos state is now like a commercial entity that only pursue projects that yields the highest revenue into the pockets of government officials and their cronies. They careless about the average citizen and the poor. Is Eko Atlantic being built for Lagos civil servants to acquire or for market women in Oshodi market?
Markets are being renovated and priced too high beyond the reach of market people. Governance as far as Lagos is concerned is all generating revenue and less about helping the people and making life better for them. Manhattan buildings are not for the regular people. |

chigoizie7: Can you use the credit as a person who doesn’t have a job to service the credits? Stop running round in circles. I have explained to you how Tinubu brought jobs to the ever teeming population of Lagos. That is the first part. If there were no jobs, why do people keep trooping into Lagos? Once that is sorted, credit is good to go. |

chigoizie7: Do you even know what the credit system is? How can that curb corruption? Is it a must for all to use credit system? He must have done certain things in Lagos as a governor. Nigeria at large is bigger than Lagos. This man goofs around all the time, this is not feasible with unemployed people. I am disappointed in you for saying that he can’t force people to work as if there are jobs and people refused to work. Be reasonable in thinking. Because he is jagaban, whatever he said makes sense? Even when he told you that he will recruit 50m into the army? It makes sense to you? Was it feasible? Even when he said that the economy needs to slow down, does it make any sense to you? I know the credit system because i have lived at different times, over 20 years of my life abroad UK and many other countries. What next? |

sunboy: Now you’re being ridiculous! Biden, Trump, Putin don’t travel abroad every other month for medical care smh
You didn’t think to compare him to Justin Trudeau or Macron? Jacina Ardern ? Sanna Marin
So because US and Russia have old people mean we should have them old too? Same old people who’s been recycling power since 1960?
I know about Tinubus legacy in Lagos and his competence but HE IS AN OLD MAN, he doesn’t need to die in power, he could have supported a younger champ.
And he will steal which is pretty standard with all our past leaders. You are the one saying 70 is old not me. Obi was in UK for rest the other day. If Ekweremadu was not involved in an organ heist no one would have known he was in UK. Tinubu like anyone else, is free to travel wherevee he wants. He's gone round most states of Nigeria in the last few months. Even premier league players, who are unique human specimens, fit with all the assistance and health care, need to rest. Just say you dont like Tinubu because he's Yoruba and we'll understand. |

aviara: Credit system works better in a highly industrialized system with high productive capacity. Imagine everyone buying Innoson cars on credit how will he run the business and pay staff salary.
Besides, credit is not just given anyhow, you have to be credit worthy to access credit. Innosons would sell more cara when credit system exist. The distributors would only request more cars based on demand and projections . Come on now, you go school. |

MartinsD12: For people who don't understand what tinubu means, he is saying if your salary is not a enough for you to buy a car you should go and borrow a loan , this exactly what governance means to tinubu, same thing buhari is borrowing Is what this man plan to do but he won't succeed, tinubu will never be president in Nigeria. Sure. Because you cannot put 3 million Naira together doesn't mean you shouldn’t own a car. Because you cannot put 25 million Naira together doesn't mea you shouldn’t own a home. |

sunboy: In as much as I hate to say this, and don’t support any old man in power… Tinubu will definitely turn around Naija for sure but he’s old! And not the same Tinubu of Lagos state.
Why can’t he push a young chap and support that young man with his ideas, must it be him ?
Why do our African elders all want to die in power sef He's not old. You just wish to call him old.. Samuel L Jackson is 73. Morgan Freeman is 85... yes 85 and you've watched action thrillers in which they've both played. Biden is 79. Trump is 76. Putin is 69. Enough with all these brickbats. |

chigoizie7: No be person wey get job de get good credit system? Abi who wan give you good credit when you are jobless? First of all tackle the issue of unemployment then other things can follow. How can you tackle the issues of unemployment? First tackle insecurity, electricity issues, accessibility to good roads and then good policies for investors both local and foreign. Because all over the world, government doesn’t create jobs, they lay out the policies that will favour private businesses which creates jobs both directly and indirectly.
You never talk about solving those major problems and you are already jumping to the credit systems.
Na only people wey no know about credit system u go de tell those nonsense, because you must count 1 before you count 2.
No be only credit system. Out of over 200million Nigerians how many of them are gainfully employed? Does Nigeria even have job security?
If first bank employ you and all of a sudden they do their normal retrenchments, but oga don go rush use vehicle finance buy car, once you are out of job and can’t pay up, the financier will reposes their vehicle ooh, and you will loose out both the ones you have been paying and the car. He has brought another seaport in Lagos. He has opened a once uninhabited Lekki Ajah to the public. He was able to convince Dangote to site his refinery in Lagos. The new US Consulate building and more. All these things provide employment. Nobody would ever come to anyone's bedroom to ask if he wants to work. Now, he's suggesting an even more sophisticated system to enable regular joes own homes and property, yet you are complaining. You want him to do what exactly? |

IBBG: They will complain of Lagos being congested. A place with two seaport that is super congested built another port, thIs will be the mother of all congestion. There are other places in the south with ocean line that deep sea port can be sited but Nigerian politicians reason backwards. How can you explain away one of the smallest state in Nigeria having three seaport servicing the entire federation, that is madness. The state initiated the project. If it is too congested for you, you could always live elsewhere. |
