Please, I'm trying to fill my mum application and I'm confused at the stage that require me to input how much money she earn in a year. She Is employed and I have input the amount she earn in a year after tax. She also do receive other income from family.
Do I need to input her monthly salary plus other income into the the box that says "how much money do you earn in a year?
Secondly, is prime appointment the same as priority appointment? Thanks for your response in advance

If a man is travelling with his wife and daughter and the source of fund if asked is stated that his brother who is living in the UK sponsored it and sent it. I wonder if that would be an issue

your relatives are not allowed to sponsor. Its only your parents or you that can sponsor

Please did you include anything for accommodation?

we didn't submit any document for proof of accommodation but theres a place where you will be asked about accommodation plan while filling the application form..hubby wrote " I will be staying with my wife in an hotel for few days before we complete our accommodation arrangement.

Hey guys!! Got my visa and that of my dependant today..

Timeline..
Applied and did biometric on 13 sept (walkin +spv)
Received collection mail yesterday 16 sept

Documents submitted for hubby (dependant)
Marriage certificate
My affidavit and newspaper publication for change of name(This is to proof my status as the married partner as required on our document checklist)
Five pictures ( printed on an A4 paper)
My cas
Statement of account (in my name)
Tb cert

You need to have the fund that will cover you and your dependant..have it in mind that the calculation will depend on whether ur school is inside or outside of London.

Birth certificate was to prove her maiden name because we didnt have change of name.

Timeline:
Submitted online application: 31 July
Biometrics: 7 August
Passport collection mail: 4 September
Visa was issued for PBS dependant

Hello House, I got my VISA yesterday
Timeline:
12th July 2019: Application.
26th July 2019: Biometrics and Interview.
21st of August 2019: Emailed my school and my school contacted UKVI.
22nd of August 2019: Escalation of application after calling UKVI.
28th of August 2019: Emailed UKVI.
28th of August (afternoon): Transferred to VAC (Tracking).
28th of August 2019 (Evening): Got two emails from TLS (Application Assessed and Passport ready for collection).
29th of August 2019: Passport collected with Tier 4 Visa Granted.

I wish everyone yet to get their visa a positive outcome, the wait for me was traumatic.

Yes, add it for your husband visa application.

From your schedule, apply with priority visa. Also inform your school so they can contact UKVI to hasten it.

Ensure you state in your visa application that you want to travel to the UK latest September 30th, 2019.

Good luck.

With your schedule, priority is enough. Don't waste your money for super-priority.

Good Morning fellow Nairalanders.

I got my Tier 4 visa yesterday.
Priority
Eligible for Tier 4 visa Pilot scheme (I submitted my bank statement and BEng Cert regardless)
I previously Studied in the UK for my Bachelors

My Timeline
1. Payed the application fee, IHS and TLS Premium service on the 11th of August

2. Uploaded all my documents online on the 13th of August cos I used the self service option

3. Went in for my Appointment on the 19th of August, did my Interview too.

4. Got the Biometric done email and application transferred to DMC Sheffield on the 19th of August, immediately I got back home that day

5. Got the email that my application had been received at Sheffield on the 20th of August

6. Decision made, Application transferred to VAC Abuja on the 28th of August, in the morning

7. Ready for pick up email in the afternoon of 28th August and I picked up my passport with the visa intact shortly after

I'm not traveling with my husband but he would join me sometime later. I didn't submit any other evidence as proof of my relationship/marriage with him other that our Court marriage certificate(hope you have that) and newspaper publication change of name which served as part evidence of supporting documents.

Hi.. I don't know if this can help.As evidence , I used my statement of result which is in my maiden name while my international passport is in my husband's name.
I also used my newspaper publication change of name and my marriage certificate from a court.
TB test certificate
CAS and the document stated in your CAS which might be Bsc certificate or statement of result and lastly my statement of account.. I think there wonld be any problems because your newspaper publication states clearly your maiden name and your current name.

I think the change of name document should be added. Remember there is a sentence in this change of name which states that all other documents with your old name is still valid. Also when filling your visa application form, please remember to declare that you are known by other names. My opinion .

Hello guys, please i need your take on this.

My 28 days is counting and I hope to apply on the 11th of September. My resumption date is however 23rd of september while the latest date is 7th of October.
Considering these facts, would u advice I go for priority or super priority.

Secondly I intend going with my husband as dependant. Although I still carry my maiden name owing to the fact that that's what is on my passport and the name I gave for my school application. Do you think that's a problem or could it raise an eye brow. Even though we are married with a proof of marriage cert.

Thirdly, would you consider these documents sufficient for a proof of marriage and application.

1. Marriage certificate stated July 3rd 2019
2. Wedding pictures, pictures taken before and after marriage.
3.Random screen shot of Facebook and what's app chat starting from 2016 when we started dating till present.
4.TB test cert
5.CAS
6. Statement of account of the amount that covers myself and my hubby in my account.
7. B.sc cert

N.B
I have the news paper publication for change of name to my husband's name. Do u think this can be added to the documents even though my application doesn't carry his name.

The answer to your question depends on your proposed travel date.

my resumption date is September 23rd but will travel a week before resumption.

Documents to Take for the TB test:
1. Your travel Document (Passport)
2. Proof of payment of the relevant fees
3. (This is not a Document) but you need to have a UK address. It could be your full school address (including postcode).


As for the question about dependant.
It’s not clear. Who are you referring to as dependant (in this case)?

my fiancé, our wedding is in two weeks time and I want him to travel with me. Is it advisable for him to do the tb test now or after our wedding?

Yes, you can travel together but this depends on when is your course start date. Please go through the requirements for dependant visa. I still insist on my suggestion of travel first, settle down for like two months then you invite him as your dependant. I dont want the VO to have a feeling that you have ulterior motive.

Congratulations in advance on your marriage. There wont be any problem if he apply immediately after you have got your visa but I'll suggest that you travel first resume and then he can apply as your dependant. He can use super priority service if he wants.
