Gd evening mama's, like someone has responded... it's possible. but you have to listen to ur doctors advise... they know best. I also had a myomectomy b4 just like ur case.. I had a smooth labour without induction till 9cm only for the labour not to progress after that. for the risks involved, I eventually had to have a CS that was an alternative right from start . Ruptured uterus is not our portion in Jesus name. so Pls carefully follow advise.

Please are there any mommas here who have had a vaginal birth following myomectomy. My doc has resigned to ceaserian although myomectomy would be almost two years by my due date. I'm hopeful but not insistent on vaginal. Just wanna know if someone here has experienced same. Thanks! .

Ema gbami mom as (help me). Is this what they call heartburn?? It's gotten worse these pasts couple of days. Esp after eating I feel there's still something stuck in my throat and no matter the amount of water I drink it remains the same. Its uncomfortable and I've been taking liquid milk too. Antenatal is weeks away. Did anyone experience this and what remedy?

Aww, if only u had said this last week we would have probably did the shopping together as there is a particular section of idumota very close to tom jones building where ALLl they sell are baby things at wholesale prices, if u decide to trace the place please don't follow women that says "mama ibeji or whatever let me take u to my shop I see baby things" they inflate the prices. Its close to tom Jones building u can ask around from people who don't sell baby things and beat d prices down as much as you can

Goodfortun - i will keep you posted as to when everything is set. But for the time being a few things to consider.

Modern cloth diapers have very good performance, you just need to get the right quality of products and know how to adjust the absorption to suit your baby's needs.

You will need to change a bit more frequently than using disposables. But that is only a good thing as diaper rash is less of an issue.

No need to use zinc based barrier creams except specifically peescribed (it messes up the absorption) coconut oil or other natural butters work well.

It has a higher upfront cost compared to disposables but it easily pays for itself within 3 - 6 months of usage. There various ways to affford it like buying it in bits, or adding it to your gift list and hinting to friends and family about what you want.

Sizing: One-Size cloth diapers will give you greater flexibility of use as it is designed to be adjustable to fit babies from birth to potty ( about 4.5kg - 15kg) and youcsn even have 2 children of different ages using the same diapers.

There will also be special preemie size diapers for our tiniest bundles of joy as it is evident that many parents struggle to find fitting diapers in the earliest days.

Quantity wise: This will be determined by your budget and how often you wish to wash. (3 days maximum) if you are washing every day or every other day i wouls say get at least 24 diapers as a minimum and a few of the accesories. Although 36 is the ideal minimum for me.

Accessory wise: there are cloth wipes, wetbags to store the soiled diapers, nappy liners to help with poop, snappi fasterners (no need for safety pins).

Styles : I will be stocking styles such as a 2 part system with waterproof cover and absorbent inner. Also All-in-one system where everyhing is sewn as one piece.

Pricing: I will keep you informed but generally will be starting at N1,200 for inserts, N2,000 for covers, accesories from N2,500, N4,200 for All-in-ones .

Go to Dosunmu market at Idumota. I don't know how to describe the place you can just ask the market people for directions or type Dosunmu market in the nl search button, a mama once described the place. If you have a visible bump the annoying women would find you once you set your foot in any part of that market. Allow them to lead you to Dosunmu market, then ask for little me store, that's where I bought most of my stuff but you can also check other shops around there. Don't buy from the annoying women that would be following you like flies, they would cheat you.

As for disposable nappies, is it Alphahandmaiden that sells it and she has good reviews.

I bought few stuff frm little me and others in the market guess. U can't get all u need in little me store. When u get to obalende enter keke napep going to Tom Jose, u will drop at the last busstop it's 2 line u will cross to the other side where they sell umbrella, u will also c big shops that sell wristwatches walk down u will turn left I think d 3rd turning they sell generators at the begining of the junction when u pass d generator sellers u will start seeing people that sell baby things but wen u walk further u will see lot more and for cheaper price. Then if u want to check little me u will walk further wen u get to water water place then u are close cus there's always water in that area the place is inside a complex painted lemon I think. Note there are two little me store but the one in the complex is the bigger one. I hope u understand d my description

You could also consider fruit juices at night when you awaken since at least they contain sugar rather than food...

i saw mucus plug with blood on d 4th of june around 5am. weneva I urinate I continue seeing blood but my DH said since I'm not having contractions we should chill at home and watch it. later I started having contractions but not strong, I called a nurse she said it is better I go to hospital for proper monitoring since I'm bleeding. I got to d hospital past 10pm, the doctor checked me and he said my cervix is closed but he won't allow me to go home since I've seen show. he checked me around 5am and I was 4cm dilated, I was checked again by another female doctor around 12 pm she said I'm 5cm, that was when serious prayer started o, I was commanding my service to dilate fast. when d doctor on night duty came, she came and checked me around 5pm and I was 8cm dilated, she said I must give birth in the next two hours and her wish was stamped by God. I entered delivery room at 5pm and she passed d drip and gave me injections which oxytocin was among, i don't know d name of d rest, that was when I started shouting 'I want to poo' she came to check me again I was still at 8cm. shøe called DH to go and get one injection, she injected me on my laps that was when d urge to poo didn't stop at all. it was terrible. I pushed 3 times and d baby's head came out a bit, she was having cord around her neck , d doc cut d cord and asked me to push again and d baby came out exactly 7pm, she didn't cry at fast d doc had to beat her and she cried. I was just shouting 'thank you Jesus'. This is d experience of a first time mum. I give glory to God.

Hi moms! Did anyone else experience itching on belly button. Even though my navel is internal; the area round it is quite itchy and scratching is leaving bumps. Very uncomfortable. I'm 25weeks gone
