4 times daily is too low for a newborn to feed (except you're not counting BM feeds). Please feed him every 3-4 hours. You can supplement with BM. You can reduce quantity and increase frequency, their stomachs are still quite small

My 2 year old eats 5 times a day

Please what does the 5times include and how's it fed/what times? I'm trying to get my 18month old on a meal plan.

I welcomed my baby boy through a scheduled CS on Friday, 8th. It was an elective op so went in, did the surgery, everything went well and we've been discharged. Glory be to God. March Cappo, B.S. submitted

My dear it's not easy at all, the sicknesses baby did not have in one year of birth, he has had in three months of creche. Cold and cataarh diaper rash etc. But don't have a choice noni. Just try and see a doc so tests can be run and treatment can start. It is well.

This was my son some weeks back. We tried that red leaf and anti fungal creams but no respite. We eventually Saw a dermatologist who prescribed some creams which they manufacture themselves. Salicylic acid and dermathesone or something like that. In order to avoid self-medication,why not just see a dermatologist. Within two weeks of treatment, the back cleared and no reoccurrence. I think heat contributes to it too.

Thanks. Please which vaccine was administered at 12 months. Was meant to take measles booster but adviced to wait till 15 months and take just vitamin A

Sorry I forgot. 12months: meningococcal conjugate, pcv booster and vitamin a. 15months: MMR and chicken pox. 18months: OPV and penta.

I think it's normal for some kids. Mine that was complimentary Fed also pooped after almost every feed. Just keep him hydrated always. But I don't believe it's a problem.

Biko mamas with baby boys we have circumcision tomorrow, and I'm freaking out already. Please I need tips on how to take care of the site so it heals as soon as possible.

We were told to do absolutely nothing. No olive oil or penicillin and it healed on its own. Just the initial pain when it was done and when diaper was changed that I felt paracetamol was necessary for. Just keep calm, he'll do good.

Hian, her own is better, the monitoring spirits I have around me won't let me eat n drink what I like , they say I should drink only hot things, even my malt is warmed before drinking, I shouldn't take milk, I shouldn't eat strong food.. This n that. Anyway I bless God. I had my Rhogam shot about 30mins after I came out from the theatre. God bless your family. Cheers

The milk ish is strange to me . Started tAking milk wit pap from the hospital before being discharged and twas also c.S. But I guess peeps have different beliefs. Don't think there's anything wrong with milk though.

This was my son's navel some weeks after birth and then by 3months it had gone in. I was so worried that I went to the clinic to make enquiries. Was reassured. And I let go. Slowly but surely it became minute. Just be patient but if you still feel uneasy, see a doc.

Please how safe is it to travel to Ilorin from Lagos by road with my 5months plus baby?

My Bestie is getting married and I really don't want to miss her big day if it's safe to go with my baby.

Hubby thinks it's not safe plus harmattan, I need concrete reason to convince him.

Mamas please don't Waka pass.

My issue is those roads are unpredictable esp the oyo/ogbomoso route, the journey might take longer than eexpected and baby will start being grumpy. If private car, I guess it's okay since comfort is guaranteed but public transport? I can't say. I did air and train travel with baby at 4months but it was pretty short so i managed it okay..

What you want is a convertible seat that works from birth till 2 years (some even more), just make sure whichever brand you're buying starts from birth, it's usually clearly indicated.

Love your explicit explanations. My car seat was a gift but we didn't start using till baby was 3months+ cos there's no where we were going to. He's 16months and we are still using it. However the capacity is weight rather than age. It's not a popular name brand and its permanently rear facing. Just go online and see the different options so when U go shopping u can make the best choice.

Hello moms. Please what's the procedure for boiling the red leaves used to treat skin issues? I bought a bunch that comes with the stem. Do I just boil everything together? Whats the quantity of water to leaf.how many days do we use it. Do I dilute with his regular bath water? Don't know the procedure at all
