Here's my proposal:

1) First, we set up a 'Nairaland Congress' consisting of Nairaland members who spend a lot of time on the forum and generally respect the rules. These members will be known as 'representatives'. Their duty: to maintain the rules and regulations of the Nairaland Forum.

2) Then, we set up a 'Nairaland Court' consisting of Nairaland representatives who have demnstrated their maturity, level-headedness and good jugdement. They will be known as 'judges'. Their duty: to settle all disputes by applying the rules to specific situations.

3) Finally, we set up the 'Nairaland Police', consisting of Nairaland judges I can trust with moderator privileges. They will be known as 'moderators'. They will have the power to execute the forum rules and regulations and decisions of the judges.

I want to believe that as members start participating in the congress and the court, those that are capable of functioning effectively as moderators will become obvious.

we know it is not by force to watch it but this is a forum for people to correct some anomalies in Nigeria and that is what we are doing. Is it right to pump as much as USD$100,000 into a project that ill be filled with so much shams and phonies pretending to be what they r not?

i don't buy the idea of the Big brother Nigeria craze and i think other sensible people should not either.

We need growth and development, we need emploment that is what we are clamouring and cying for and not giving out huge amount of moeny for no reason and little efforts

For the nth time, BBN is NOT sponsored by the Nigerian government.  If you don't like the idea, that won't change anything. There are many other TV stations. Nferyn: thanks for showing them the light! Goodguy appears to be a very dishonest debater - twisting everything around - but nferyn has the intellect and energy to counter him on every point.

What makes me a dishonest debater? What light has nferyn shown us? In what way has he countered me on every post? What am I twisting around?
