Thanks so much for this initiative
For papaya puree, do I steam 1st?
Or I can just blend or mesh straight away
And again, what's the best way of preserving baby's puree? Can I freeze?

Yes it does

Okay, thanks
Asked cause it has same ingredients as tombrown which i made but its not completely smooth, like you can feel a bit of roughness from the shaft when it's made.... is it normal? Cause the person grounded it up to 3-4times, just want to be sure it's okay.

Ok. Thank you. I just read steaming helps retain nutrients as against boiling in water.

What type of veggies do you intend giving?

Thanks ma'am. Her head control is not yet perfect. Though she controls it well whenever she rolls on her belly...Its some women with their unsolicited advice that is suggesting it o undecided I was also wondering how a 4 months can sit in a walker. Please what is the appropriate age/month for a baby to start using a Walker? Thanks

Think when crawling is established, walker is fine
But heard it prevents some children from hitting their milestones early enough, cause walker restrict them in a way
Ds started using walker at 7m+ after he started pushing plastic stool around the house, the walker is mostly used to restrict his movement when it is just me and him so I don't have to worry about what he's up to when I'm doing other things

Good morning mamas in the house.

Pls help a worried mum out. My boy is almost 9months, he did exclusive for six months plus till I introduced solids(light solids with breastmilk) without water. Now I've started introducing water, he has refused to take water. It's always a tug of war whenever I'm spoon feeding him water bcus he doesn't like feeding bottles, so I'm left feeding him with spoon, of which i have to fight with him to take just few spoons. Most he'll spit it out or uses his tongue to push the spoon out of his mouth. I'm worried bcus he has started experiencing constipation and I can't be giving him breast to suck all the time he rejects water or giving him the 'P' fruits when water is essential to the body.
Pls is there any other means I could use to deceive him? Help pls!

Have you tried giving him with cup?
Ds used to be like that, but he loves water now
Just continue giving it to him, with time he'll get used to it
9m is too young for sachet water, you'll have tried that.

Good morning mothers. Pls permit me to ask. What is d difference between a bouncer and a rocker? And if one is to choose one of d two which one will u recommend and why?

I think bouncer is age appropriate.... like it can carry up to a specific weight, but seems to be more soothing for babies
Rocker can be used by older babies and can be used longer than bouncer.
I may be wrong tho
Other mamas will chook mouth

Good day mama, my almost 8months LO is a belly crawler, he doesn't go on all four and I'm not really bothered cos I believe he will correct himself as time goes on but ppl have been telling me it's bad, like I shouldn't allow him. I was advised to lift his chest wit turning stick every time he crawls on his belly. Dis sounds so weird and funny to me, I don't know wether to get angry or laff cheesy cheesy grin grin grin. Pls mamas that has experienced dis, what do u think? Will he go on all four at will? Or is there anything I can do to help him?
Cc all mamas

My ds started with belly crawling too
And I was told to do the Same thing, but I didn't
He now crawls on all four
Just allow him he'll start when he's ready or just start standing at once

Nothing is wrong with him in my opinion. My son did same and i was told it's because he wasn't thrown up during bath time undecided that my mum should have thrown him up or held him upside down shocked for few minutes to remove fear from him. He stopped sha as he grew older. Even whilst awake he would just jump at the slightest noise. Lolz

Lol
Mine is yet to get a hang on being thrown up
1min he's laughing and the other min he's screaming his lungs out.. lol

It's not noisy here, I noticed he doesn't when he's in his cot or our bed so he doesn't sleep for long. he sleeps longer when backed, when I carry him and when I place him on my chest

He'll probably enjoy sleeping on his tummy more, you can try that when he's old enough
Until then, there's nothing to worry about, he'll outgrow it

Good morning mamas, please my almost 7 weeks son cries out from sleep and he doesn't sleep calmly like he startles when he sleeps, I mean like someone that is scared.

Please is there anything wrong, help a FTM.

God bless you.

Is it usually noisy?
My ds used to be startled from sleep when he was much younger cause of noise
So I try to be as quiet as possible when he sleeps
And again he started sleeping longer and stopped getting startled when he gained head control and started sleeping on his stomach

Hello mamas, I feel I should post it here maybe someone who has been in my shoes will advise me.

My baby is 3 months plus today. I have been in a recovery mode till last week when I and DH finally did the "do". I am a FTM and till now my AF have not come after delivery. I wanted to go for family planning tomorrow but I don't know if I should wait till I can do a preggy test to be sure I am not pregnant. Or am I safe since my period have not commence yet?

I think you should go ahead with FP if you want to and the hosp will likely run a PT for you before they proceed.
Concerning being safe b4 AF shows, you're not completely safe cus you're likely to ovulate the month before AF shows and no1 knows when that's likely to happen. So it's better to be safe than sorry

My 2cent, other mamas will contribute
