Ilekokonit:
Once husband and wife sleep in different beds or in different rooms, the marriage is almost over and may not last for very long

Husband and wife have no business sleeping in different beds or in different rooms.

The excuse some women give is that they are nursing a baby who must breast feed through the night and thats a fair point but at some point, the baby will stop feeding on breast milk and at that point, the baby can go and sleep in his or her cot and not in the parents marital bed and after some time he or she or they if twins have to go and sleep in their own room and let Mum and Dad have the needed private time so that they can bond if their young marriage is to survive long after their children have left home (which they will someday).

But the mistake a lot of women make is to over prioritize their time with their baby / toddler to the detriment of their marriage. Why go into a marriage when at the first sign of a baby, the wife imports the baby permanently into her marital bed under the guise of breastfeeding and in some cases even when the child is more than 3 years old, he or she is still sleeping beside the mum at night and often times the man has been stylishly shunted to sleeping in another room and even if chairman wan nack during the day, the 3 year old child is furiously banging on the door for the parents to open the door because the child has been made to always feel he or she has to be beside the Mum.

But wives who want their marriage to last will know where to draw the line and give unto Caesar what is Caesar's in a TIMELY manner.

A word is enough for the wise woman who wants her marriage to last way past when the kids will have left home to start their own families.

Every day, woman this, woman that, abeg allow women to rest nah

That's disrespectful since her son is married with grown up kids
Her son is now her husband and the head of the family
That's tradition

Not African culture my dear, you must mean all those Arab cultures or so that don't allow women to come outside unless the son or the husband or uncle is with her.

Family / Re: Mothers Please Advice A Frustrated Married Man. by gorgeousnogo(f): 9:18pm On Sep 14, 2022
Why is nobody mentioning that the ‘said wife’ just gave birth?
If you are waiting for the baby to be 1 year + before she resumes work, that means she must have just delivered and the baby is not up to a year.

She might be dealing with postpartum depression and that in itself depicts her of all her mental and physical energy. Some women go through that even after 5 years of giving birth. You might check this option too before thinking she is lazy or not.

If it helps, get her a house help to help her around the house (staying at home doing nothing with kids running up ad down is even more exhausting as draining).

Some women didn't even enjoy that honeymoon phase and immediately became mothers after their wedding...

Marrying an African man who automatically thinks you are the wife, mother, dry cleaner, housegirl, cook, all in one; is not easy at all even as your body is going through pains and chanhes that comes with childbirth.

So be gentle with her. She might be going through alot mentally and staying up and letting the kids be might be her way of coping with it. The kids must have tired her all day

The kids are yours too, try take work leave sometimes and stay around them and figure out what works for both of you not just you.

We can only advise but you have to figure it all out on your ownas work on your marriage.

1. You didn't mention your uncle's assets and yearly turn over. Having 50-60 people working for him is generic because they may even be menial workers that receive 10-20k per month.

2. You don't have any savings at all after working for a CBN agency?

I work for a consultant. So the pay is poor

Sorry for the denial.

I believe he wasn't okay that your uncle can sponsor your program.
Next time talk about his annual revenue from his business and you can even go further to talk about how much he pays labor. 50-60 staff is a lot, so help them help you.

How can I help them help me?

If COA is $59k then it's a huge money.
To cut long story short because this is not the Students thread, try apply for funding before going back to the embassy. It will make it more easier.

Best of luck

The good thing is u stand another opportunity to try again in the near future.

Though am not sure if Ur going as a student or as a visitor but from what u wrote, it seems Ur going for studies. Is this undergraduate or post graduate studies? How old are u? What's Ur cost of attendance? What's Ur sponsor's financial position/statement reading? Have u applied to the US before? How did that go?

For Ur next try, u will have to get answers to the questions u think u fell short. Reapplying immediately is a redflag. There must have been some redflag the VO saw that he didn't hesitate to cut u short.

Plan Ur next visa application carefully.
