Nicklaus619:Very strange! I always try to emagine this scenario. The mother Lion put no resistance to the king Lion when killing the cubs. This lioness even show reception quickly for mating with the brutal Lion. |
PDP people are so lazy and ficle minded that they are always jittery about someone family tree. What do they want in kadaria Ahmed that they didn't find, or what did she do to warrant for pdp to start searching for her relatives. Should everyone that has and will participate in any process leading to the general election be people who have no relationship with someone in politics? This kadaria conducted interview with buhari osinbajo, moghalu elrufai, sowore and his running mate . She has been going through all along. Now atikuobi, and pdp followers found out that she is related to someone somewhere as if she was not a Nigerian I think the woman is a perfect and judiciously proffesional journalist. |
verifielive:No one mess with judiciary and goes free. Judiciary has been messing around and going free. Now the mess up have cut up with the rotten system. |
Alignment... Still on the CJN matter: If you follow the story and understand the issues you will note 1. Of the the 23 members of the NJC, he appoints 20 by statute and he is chairman. Can he lose a case there? 2. Based on the legal principle of *Nemo judek in causa sua* "you cannot be a judge in a case in which you are involved. The honorable thing was for him to step aside pending determination of the case but he did not 3. The constitution never envisaged that a man of questionable character will be made chief judge so there is a burden on the president on what to do. 4. The constitution only prescribed conditions for his outright sack which has to go through Senate on the recommendations of the NJC to the president. But note the following, Onnoghen has suspended NJC sittings indefinitely and Saraki has put Senate on leave till after elections (also indefinitely since there was no specific date). Now given this unfortunate and embarrassing situation of our CJN being guilty of a crime (and not a professional misconduct) and having confessed to same (after which much more was discovered) what should the president do? It is to assist the man to do what he refused to do honorably - step aside via suspension. A suspension means he is still the substantive CJN so an acting CJN will be appointed to carry on his duties until such a time when the NJC sits to recommend him to the president for the transmission of his case to the senate. If senate says he should go (by 2/3 majority) he is then sacked otherwise he returns to his office. *Now here are the concerns* 1. Why is it a northerner that falls in the line as the next to be appointed as acting CJN or the next CJN? We may have to look at the existing hierarchy to find answers. Not only that we also need to look at the line up of potential candidates and see that they don't also have pending criminal charges 2. Why are lawyers especially SANs silent on the primary offense? My suspicion is that since the CJN does not sell pepper or fish he must have made those monies through something that corrupt lawyers buy - Justice (or injustice if you like) and some the SANs' names will appear on the statement of account 3. Why are some top politicians throwing tantrums? Why would they not think that it would be suicidal if they become elected and had to work with a corrupt judicial system. Please let us appreciate the other many upright and God fearing lawyers and judges we have in this country. I guess some of the politicians may have already made deposits or part payments for the CJN's services and their names will appear on the statement of account. It illegal to kill, even the good books say so but tell me which you would choose, that I killed an armed robber who is robbing me with a gun or I just leave him to kill me knowing that when eventually the law catches up with him he would be sentenced to death. |
ChristineC:Kindly reply, so as to know the depth of your understanding. Trying to denying the fact of the matter will not help you. The writer of the message has taken it upon himself to tell the truth. Tell us what you know. |
When GEJ suspended Sanusi, we asked, what about 2/3rd required from the Senate to remove him? they said, suspension is not the same thing as sack. Emefiele was appointed and confirmed almost immediately by the Senate while SLS investigation was ongoing. No uproar from PDP, Senate or social media noise makers. GEJ suspended President of Court of appeal, Ayo Salami, against NJC recommendations and several court orders. No uproar or protests. When you ask them about GEJ today, they call him a hero of democracy for conceding defeat in an election he lost woefully after several rigging attempts. PMB today is a tyrant for obeying a CCT court order. Well, the CJN is suspended not sacked. Nigerians actually deserve the leaders and citizens around them. A civil servant who happened to be an arbiter of the law, has an undeclared $3m in his bank accounts, several houses, claiming he forgot to mention almost N1billion in his assets declaration form and you expect us to look the other way because of the political optics? Something is doing you. You are Nigeria's problem, yes You! . You deserve your leaders and fellow citizens. Couldn't be happier that I got out early. In saner climes, the CJN would have resigned 3 weeks ago. In an insane country like Nigeria, people who don't have N20k in their accounts are sweating on Facebook, wasting their data to defend him. You all deserve each other. Copied |
paq1:Not too bad. We are getting closer to democratic contestants been up to fight for power closely. |
Asshurbanipall:Small pikin talk. This is the beginning. Nigeria is making original progress , not the rental system we have under PDP GOVERNMENT. |
Wizpa:Whatever your insinuations, this crowd is not what you can use any baits to gather together. This is nothing but natural. I don't know how PDP thinks they can win this contest. Instead of them to concentrate on selling their program on how to build up the nation, they are busy attacking and purknossing into what does not concerned them. Buhari will win this election without any problem. |
gentlegenius:We really need this Buhari to continue till 2023. Nigeria is a jungle that requires a no nonsense hunter like Buhari. Immorality in the name of constitution is seriously killing the system. Consider the environment we are operating in Nigeria today. The political elites are the only people benefiting from whatever we refer to as constitutinality. Upon all these, the politicians are only twisting all process to favour their own nest. Justice Onoghen has soiled his hand, he did not even deny it. Unfortunately, he refuses to let everything boomerang without him having the courage to step aside. His suspension is not the first time a high caliber official will be suspended without recourse to the National Assembly. CBN governor suffered this same faith just recently and the nation did not collapse. |
There is one thing about this coming elections. Political parties are not finding it easy. Not even the ruling APC. Everything is set for a new beginning. Bukola of kwara is not flowing through as he usually does. Rotimi Amechi is loosing track in River politics. Rochas could not installed his son in-law in IMO. Amosun of Ogun is unable to get his candidate to win gubernatorial primary . Atiku Abubakar is not flowing as it suppose to be. Nigeria will witness original change soonest |
AstralBody:Tall dreams of pdp followers. I have not see what pdp is doing that will warrant her for victory in February presidential election. Pdp and Kola Ologbondiyan are only good at finding faults without prescribing the solutions. They are only good at raising alarms where there is non. Pdp politicians believes in bullying their way into power by making noise on seeing who wants to rigs elections. Elections are going to be free and fair enough for everyone to see. Winners will emerge that will not cause any rancour's. God bless Nigeria |
Dee60:Seriously speaking, Obi is the only complete candidate for the presidency. Unfortunately, the masses are not taking notes. In the above mentioned situation. Buhari should be allowed to have a second term. |
Enemies within. It's always too much difficult to win a war where you are fighting with unidentified enemy. The way they always have more fighting power during every elections year call for scrutiny. We are battling with real enemies within. |
It's a great shame for Atiku and all the people celebrating his going to America. |
Politicians are prostitutes, they romance whoever is with what they want at that particular time. Poor Atiku is the best example of how to be a political prostitute. Every four years he changed his political party. It's unfortunate for pdp to have picked him up as their presidential candidate. |
Stanleyville:Don't you think we should be able to say things as they are. Must we always be telling lies? |
HAFSAT ABIOLA REPLIES PDP AND NIGERIAN LOOTERS: IT'S ONLY A LAZY NIGERIAN THAT CANNOT READ THIS TO THE END. GOES BALLISTIC ! I will only respond because my Sister Mo Demie asked for my view... Please nobody should abuse my late father here o, I didn't come to your page to comment: All this sudden noise and write up to show that "Buhari was playing politics"...... When did it become a crime for politicians to play politics? Were they not voted in to play politics? Will it be wrong to develop our roads, infrastructure, free education, return oil blocks to the State instead of individuals? What is this noise all about? Jonathan was voted for by the South West in 2011, the same SW voted for Buhari in 2015, what is all this noise all about the SW going for Buhari? Obasanjo, the direct beneficiary of #June12 is from the same State with MKO, why didn't he play politics and declare June 12? Jonathan had opportunity for 5 years to do same, he rather gave Abacha from the North posthumous honor, pardoned Ex-convict from the West, Alams from the South... What do you call that? Is that politics or chemistry? 16 years opportunity to acknowledge #June12 they refused to use the #PoliticalUndertone... So are you expecting Buhari to use Biological or Chemical undertone to take such decision? Why are you guys fixated about those supporting Buhari, is it not a choice and must you dictate to others? You brought up religious sentiments prio to 2015 election, yet blamed Buhari fr being the religious bigot.... Jonathan was running from one Church to another, Sambo openly told them in the North that they must not vote for Buhari because Osinbajo is a Pastor of a big Church....Who is a religious bigot here? I mean, who was running from one religious organisation to another in 2015 because of politics? Pastor Bosun came up with that sudden apostasy, wrapped up Jonathan PDP politics in the name of "wake up call" message. I'm happy that I'm still here. I asked him when most of you were analyzing that heretic message that "Jonathan is fulfilling prophecy"..... I asked a simple question: "Which prophecy is Jonathan"? Pastor Bosun went ahead to say "even if the Islamic party (APC) presents a Christian Governor in Lagos, you must not vote for him, you must vote for the other party(PDP)...... Wait, who was using religion? Obasanjo removed Senate Presidents at will, removed any opposing voice, removed Fayose for a small insult, removed Ladoja with thugs in Ibadan....Who are you calling "DICTATOR"? Muhammadu Buhari......... Obasanjo withheld Lagos State fund for 3 years, not minding how Lagosians would eat, Yaradua got there and released the fund... NASS members were abusing Buhari openly, messing up everything at will, Fayose has been abusing Buhari for 4 years now..... Not a single State in Nigeria has been denied their constitutional rights because of politics till date, all their funds, Paris fund, bail out, FAAC etc... But who is the DICTATOR? BUHARI. Jonathan ensured that NASS opposition members were locked out including Tambuwa the Speaker of the house. They had to climb gate to gain access..... Jonathan empowered OPCs in Lagos and they were destroying anything in Ikorodu to Ojota that looked like opposition party. Orga of DSS was used to invade APC secretariat, Journalist arrested and Newspapers siezed, we forgot all these.... Ekiti was militarised, Fayose was given power from Aso rock to order Military guys at will. Fayemi the incumbent at that moment was rendered powerless that he was shouting when Police commissioner was used by PDP and a guy was shot...All these videos and pictures are still here (google is your friend)... But who is the dictator? BUHARI. Jonatahn met FX+ECA at $62 billion+. He DEPLETED it to less than $30 Billion in 5 years Jonathan sold crude oil for 5 years at an average of $100 per barrel of 2.2 million daily (2010-2014). Did he add a DIME to Nigeria purse in 5 years? NO. Buhari the ILLITERATE sold oil at an average of $50 of less than 700,000 barrel at some points because of militancy, yet had moved that FX to $47 Billion in 3 years. Don't say how much did he borrow if you don't even have the figure borrowed between 2010-2015 without adding a dime to FX. Who is the ILLITERATE? BUHARIIII. Jide Omokore, Aluko and oil goddess Alinson made an oil deal of N1 trillion and chose not to remit to Nigeria under GEJ. Did anyone raise eyebrow? INTEL of Atiku refused to remit to NPA, not until last year that "ordinary" Hadiza the NPA boss challenged INTEL and insisted the funds must be remitted. A Christian Professor had been leading JAMB all through Obasanjo to Jonathan yet for 40 years of JAMB, only N52 Million was remitted to FG....A Muslim Professor who was appointed just in two years of handling JAMB remitted over N15 Billion......FIFTEEN BILLION ooO.... So who is following after righteousness? For five years of Okonjo Iweala was paying over 45,000 ghost workers unabated, yet just within 3 years, "ordinary" Kemi Adeosun removed such nonsense...I ask again who is more effective? Ordinary Abuja metro lane took 11 years from OBJ period that he INIT Stop dividing us over religion, who is fooling who? Let's wake up.! Good night. |
We have to wait for police to confirm their responsibilities for Dino movements. It could be from Dino's camp. Dino is capable of anything. For those who are calling police names on this Dino deal, it's unfortunate that we always read political meaning to everything that happened around elections period. A distinguished senator has been invited by his own State police command, and he feels not safe to honour the invitation. For 5 months running, Dino could not arrange to meet with kogi state police command. Now, police is taking action and we are making gest around. Dino will not die, Dino will not suffer unjustly and Dino only need to be mature enough. |
Take it or leave it! We are all going to witness how the game will play out. Definitely, these politicians are same. However, the name pdp is synonymous with greed, corruption and failure. To make it worse for pdp, they have Atiku who happens to be the most amazing political prostitute their presidential candidate. It's a bad market for Bukola and all the marketers who are selling Atiku. |

The contest look to narrow to only two presidential candidates. Yes, we have many Nigerians contestants for the post of the president and commander in chief of arm forces of the federal republic of Nigeria, the raise is between Atiku Abubakar and Muhamodu Buhari. If the promoters of the third force have been able to make good their promises to sponsor a very formidable political party and got ahead to present a politician that is totally different from the old order politicians, it would have been better for Nigerians. In the absence of a third force, the battle is between APC & PDP. Buhari government is a government that people are condemning because of lack of understanding of how much we have gone on the road of deception. Buhari government is a government that is putting Nigeria back to solidify economic growth. Thou, the speed of the economy is going very much slower than expected, but it is much better than the type of national prosperity we were promoting before. Before, We were running economic that promotes growth of another nations while ours is being glorified on paper by international rating agencies. . When we were been ratted as the biggest economy in Africa, what was our products and services that we enjoy locally, not to talk of exported out? Everything we needs, including food and drinks are produced by another country. Which makes them more richer and productive. Nigeria businessmen will only get a loan from the bank, goes to U S, Dubai, China, Turkey and any other productive country to buy the goods to sell. Nothing to add than to warehouse the goods. These are what the PDP call prosperous economy. The international rating agencies are very much happy with Nigeria going to buy goods from another country because it promotes the industrial interest of those nations and all these rating agencies are owned by the same sets of industrial nations. Under the present government, things are gradually changing. At least, we are now looking inward for our food production. Our infrastructures are better attended to. Corruption is reducing, we all know that money is scarce in circulation because free money is not available as it used to be. Farmers are getting richer than before. Go to rural area and confirm. Industrial production is taking off gradually. We are moving to regain all lost jobs in a more secure and productive way. Unlike the rent seeking type of job we have before. Security challenges are better tackles under this government than PDP. The security challenges have been there for too long. It has been allowed to fester under pdp government that it will take a persistent fight for five to Six years to douse down. We need a continuous improvement on all fronts as we are going slowly. A vote for PDP is a total reverse of all the slow achievement we are making. |

In this campaign season, where PDP is oiling her propaganda machine with all sorts of anything, it only takes a good audiologist some few tapes here and there, cut off and add on. Join whatever is going to do the intended damages and do a proper editing. Release it to the public. Let the people take it from there and do the rest. The aim for the job is achieved. |
Igboblog:The baby is a precious gift from God. There is nothing wrong in a Rev. Father dedicating a baby, no matter how the baby was conceived. We should stop discriminating against a lady that have the courage to carry pregnant to term of delivery, and the baby and mother are living . Who are we to judge. |
OTOGE.. This is not anywhere near violent in meaning. To say enough is enough is not calling for fighting in any way. People of kwara state are to decide if it's enough or they will want more from one man who plays godfather differently from the other godfathers in Nigeria political landscape. Show me another godfather like Saraki who determined everything in government of Fatai while the governor is render useless. Commissioners deffers to Saraki to take orders instead of being submissive to the sitting governor. Please, let us allow kwarans to determine whether it's enough or they want the show to continue. |
Never use crowd in a political rally to judge how popular that political party is. Let us face issues and leave the numbers of people that attended a rally. |
An excellent article by Dr. Iyabo Obasanjo published on her blog. I am a terminal optimist; ‘a believer’ in Nigeria’s future greatness, that is why three years ago, I would not have believed a bag of rice could be sold for the national minimum wage. With 87million extremely poor people and 13million children out of school in 2018, the mighty has indeed fallen and change has come. Now I know ‘all things’ are possible in a country ruled by incompetent ‘saints’. We have mass starvation in the North East, yet a clan of ‘Grass cutters’ are making their billions and smiling to the bank with the blood of hungry, homeless children, and internally displaced people in their hands. We hear rumors of ‘Bama Initiatives’ yet the fraternity in power manufactures internal solutions and our conniving cabinet of ‘saints’ watch in silence. They seek another term for their inaction, they call out the nation to pray for God to bless their cluelessness while we wait forever, for just anyone to answer the ‘grass cutter’s’ question; ‘who is the presidency?’ There are few things as nauseating as watching your favorite dog lick up its vomit. That is how sick this government of clowns make me feel. For three years Nigerians have been immersed in a disgusting circus show; the high point of our week is the next ‘tall tale’ from the spin doctor; Mr. Lie Mohammed. The man has shown great dexterity in fabricating bogus stories and making excuses for the pathetic ineptitude of our government. From his bedtime fairy tales about our ‘hale and hearty’ president waiting in the UK for 50days to have the Presidential jet serviced, to the one that won the tales by moonlight award of the year; the story of the ‘Great Rodents of Aso rock’. Governance by propaganda and lies has been institutionalized by ‘saints’. That is how we became a nation addicted to tall tales, a place where the rest of the world can look to, for comic relief. Every new day we shake our heads or bite our nails, and wonder why ‘our dear leader’ and his team are taking us for fools. Three years crawl like eternity, every day with its pangs, and our people beg God to take us back to 2015. Just three years ago in January 2015, President Jonathan reduced the price of fuel from N97 to N86.5 per litre. Babatunde Fashola; Buhari’s super minister, responded by saying the price was not low enough. He promised the nation a better deal under the APC government of ‘saints’. He bragged that a ‘serious’ government would solve the power problem of the country in six months. Today, he is the Power, Works and Housing Minister and his silence is as deafening as it is shameful. Corruption in the power sector under the nostrils of our ‘saint’ stinks to the high heavens as ordinary citizens groan under the burden of ‘estimated bills’ and other sundry deceits. Tam David West, a military era ally of General Buhari went further to promise his friend will bring the pump price of petrol down to N40 per litre. Then the price of crude came tumbling down to the ground, making the pump price of N40 per liter even more feasible but our government of ‘victims’ doubled the pump price of petrol. They went ahead and increased the price of Diesel by 400% without a reason, crushing the productive sector of the economy where everyone uses diesel to generate their electricity. We are told to blame Jonathan for three years of ineptitude, mediocrity and unbridled nepotism. We thank our God who in his faithfulness has given Professor Tam David West long life to watch ‘crocodile smile, python dance’ and to eat his empty words. Did our President really promise to make the naira equal to the dollar at the APC South East rally at Owerri in 2015? Some think he did, but we will never know. To comment further may be labelled ‘hate speech’. We hear rumors of the possible reincarnation of decree 2, 4 of 1984. Those who are old enough will understand. The silence of our usually vibrant ‘yoruba’ media speak volumes for their independence and the state of our democratic evolution. I am however sure our ‘saints’ promised to create 740,000 new jobs in one year. They promised to revamp the coal industry in Enugu. They promised change and changed everything. Since then the National office of Statistics reported job losses of 1.5million in the first quarter of 2016. Now they say we are crawling out of recession but in the words of Bob Marley, ‘he who feels it, knows it’. Nigeria; the famed land of ‘Hailers, Wailers and Lazy Youths’ has never had it so bad, yet apologists of this administration of ‘saints’ will hastily tell you to continue to believe, to celebrate the ‘incorruptibility of our pious ‘dear leader’ and his ‘lopsided’ war against corruption, to jump on the broomstick and believe their voodoo economics. I have difficulty believing that a man in his 4th attempt at the presidency, after 14 years of scheming and plotting will turn out so lame and bereft of ideas. The President of a 21st Century Democracy cannot afford to be this clueless and hands-off-ish. He has watched in near silence the worst form of savagery and bloodletting in our modern history. To give him another term, would be unfair to the old man, like whipping a tired horse. When Lai Mohammed promised that the 1.4 trillion naira from the TSA will be used as ‘Father Christmas’ handouts to ‘20million’ of the poorest amongst us, many thought it was a joke, vintage Lai, another blatant ‘hot air’ the type for which even within APC, only Lai holds the patent. But alas, it is true, if your state is a ‘political battleground’ state, or depending on which side of the 97.5% versus 5% divide you fit in, you may even get ‘Market Moni’. I will never understand the economic sense in doling out monthly stipends to plan less youths in certain places, sharing out ‘Abacha loot’ while we borrow the same amount from China to support our budget. The revelations from the World Bank President that they were instructed to respect the 97.5% versus 5% formula trounces everything this government has ever done. I knew the second coming of GMB will not be different from the firsts. I did warn in my blog but Nigerians were past caring. They just wanted a change in the saddle; anything but GEJ. By February 2015 millions of my countrymen were sick of the impunity and kleptocracy of the PDP clan of predators; they were ready to replace them with anyone or anything, even a retired and tired Military Dictator whose High School leaving examination nobody ever saw the certificate. But whatever hope he held out was drowned when he recruited the same old tainted clan of politicians, recycled into the 2015 cabal nay ‘cabinet of saint’. All of them unimpressive without a single exception. Their inability to take responsibility for their failures will always stand them out as a pitiable class of ‘victims’ which we should all quickly forget. The APC claim of superior morality and credibility was always deeply flawed. An amalgam of the vilest tribalists, the most sordid political capitalist, discredited PDP dropouts, all desperate for power and vengeance, could amount to nothing but the poisonous stew it is. The simpletons who were sold to their cynical manipulations and sloganeering, who voted in droves have been betrayed. Today we have gone full circle, we are back at that same point, where just anything goes. We are back to where we were in February 2015. Budgets after padded budgets, the empty promises of Lai Mohammed will always resonate as great lines of deceitful poetry. The saintly grandfather who came to rid Nigeria of its army of predators and leeches has shown a complete lack of aptitude, indeed his coming has become a hoax. His abysmal failure is a lesson to the next generation of Nigerians, never to worship idols. I remain an unrepentant optimist; ‘a believer’ in Nigeria’s future greatness. We are yet to live the dreams of our founding fathers. Though we are close to the bottom, Nigeria shall rise again, because we still have the most capable and smartest people on earth. Today they prostrate before imbeciles, tomorrow they will b find their livers and use their brains. ~ Iyabo Obasanjo DVM, PhD. |

Copied I LOVE THIS PIECE. PLEASE READ WITH AN OPEN MIND. Thread by @JeSuisNaija: "ITS NEITHER BUHARI NOR ATIKU We will never have issues based national dialogue until the word ISSUE is properly contextualized. Drilling it down to what issues are, the issue is, like bacteria, we all shit in d system where we feed. Its safer to just continue cursing one another. On daily basis, its likely 100 million out of 198million Nigerians only think of how to undermine d system, even where d system is working. Politicians who embezzle funds didnt learn it at National Institute for Policy & Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos. The society! We trained them. Nigerians, if we want to discuss issues, here are issues: ■ For example, majority at Alimosho, d largest voting block in Lagos dont pay for electricity. As their Senator, If u win 1st term by ignoring this scam, u'll lose 2nd term if u attempted changing it during your 1st term. ■ When we want Fx, we want it at official rate; but when we have dollars to change to Naira, Its to black market straight! When u are not mad. As hard as Fx was in 2015, Nigeria students enrolment in US grew from 9,494 to 10,674 in 2016, contributing $324Million to d US economy. ■ Tax is a very serious issue for discussion in US politics. When it came up that may have dodge tax, we quickly turned it into APC-PDP ping-pong. Everybody formed deafness when FIRS officially reported 6000 billionaires, and 800,000 companies have been evading tax. If it ever happens that you question any person alleged to have evaded tax, who is a member of our religion, from our tribe, moves from an opposition party to the party we support, is our uncle, or knows your dad, you will hear reply like "shebi Buhari doesn't have WAEC." I have an employee that left his job because N1,200 payee was deducted from his N60,000 salary. Either poor or rich, most Nigerians hate any kind of talk about tax payments. Even people govt employed to enforce tax, dodge it too. They are d ones that will teach you how to do it. If u are a tax consultant in Nigeria and u don't know how to prepare false statement of affairs, or management account, to file doctored annual returns, better go and learn and start UBER. I have lost major businesses because i demanded for remittance receipts on Witholding Tax. I have data to show ~62% of companies that received payment for FG contracts between 1999 - 2011 didn't pay tax on payment received from FG, talk more of monies made, that government didnt know about. Yet, we want infrastructure and we are surprised govt is borrowing to build it. ■ ASUU is on strike again. Apart from claims by TETFUND that each federal university has been receiving N1Billion every year for infrastructure development in d last few years, ask these academicians to provide properly audited accounts, you'll begin to hear cock & bull stories. CBT Centers charge up to N6,500, but official JAMB fee is N4,000. If JAMB is remitting N7Bn on exams for 1.7million candidates, plz estimate how much universities make from Post UTME, Diplomas, Post Grad, and other internal revenue. These are d issues we dont want to talk about. In a year, Ekiti University claimed it made N6Bn, but a federal institution in Lagos claimed it made less than N3Bn. Universities account abroad are made public. Ask OAU Ife to do same, you'll see ritual pot at d entrance of the Senate d next day. I dont know if TSA changed that. If we open our universities for public scrutiny, a good number of ASUU members will be in jail. ■Apart from judges who collect bribe, lets look at court registries. Ikoyi Federal High Court Registry, is very notorious in this regard. I challenge lawyers here to prove otherwise. RULE OF LAW is a good cliche when govt ask us to give account, but its OK for Melaye to dodge Court Summons. ■A lady told us, how she had a fight with another lady who was removing a full roll of toilet paper from the toilet at d new port Harcourt airport, for her personal use. ■ We claim our institutions aren't working, whereas we all wilfully sabotage them. Its not common again to find INEC conniving to rig elections, unlike the days of Maurice Iwu. While INEC evolved using card reader, we have evolved into buying & selling votes, to bypass it. N10Billion has been removed from the federal budget for education to fund elections. The biggest part of that election cost goes into securing ballot boxes from hijackers. To say the fact, no president can do more than the current president is doing. We are a difficult people! |
