Really? But am in stream 2. I've written my CV. I used Europass though. I don't know of any German class in Akwa lbom but I could bring the books I used in Goethe if you're interested.

Lol. Good enough you've done your own little researches. That means you already gathering your documents, requirements for each schools, deadline and other stuffs. Try learning the language as already suggested.
Am also going for service (Akwa Ibom). I have learnt and still learning the language.

No Wahala Bros but this is still not the right thread for this. There is a thread where you can ask this question. By the time people start asking this kind of questions, then this thread will definitely derail. This is for German visa Enquiries, when you get to Deutschland, you will definitely survive. Hair cut shouldn't be a problem naw.

1. Google samples of 'letter of motivation' online or visit daad.de for template. You should get something there. Also get a better understanding on your of course, why you want to study it, it's relevance to your country etc.
2. It depends on the school you are applying to, some will specify but in case there is none then use Europass. Google Europass and download the template then you can edit it.
3. Its not compulsory but might be an added advantage during application. Enquire from your school.

There seems to be a mix up somewhere, the embassy claims to have sent your application even recently a digital version and the alien office keep insisting to not receiving it. At this point, I would also suggest you involve your programme coordinator and the international office of your school let them help you bombard the alien office and embassy. They can also help influence the application process. Explain the present state of the application and also an extention if still possible. The fact that lectures has started is more reason why you should keep disturbing them. Keep hope alive.
PS: At this point, contacting your program coordinator and international office via email will not do. You should also call them asap and explain things.
At least they can help you speak German to the alien office and embassy if that's what they want.

Today makes it exactly 8 weeks since my interview and am yet to get the a.m mail from the embassy... i have been in touch with my alien office *ulm* and the embassy for the past 3 weeks as regards my case and i keep getting same feedback from both parties.... the alien office are insisting that no paper works has been recieved as regards my visa application and as of last week, they have ask deir representative at the Nigeria Embassy to send them a new application and up until now they haven't gotten anything...... i sent a mail to the address that asked me to fund my account and the guy has been insisting that he sent my application to the appropriate alien authority since the 26th of August......that i should ask for an enrollment extension while we wait the response of the alien office *smh* alien office dt is claiming that dey dnt av any application yet as regards my visa, *that means i ll b waiting for eternity be that*.......... well i called the alien office yet again dis morning and the guy was really beginning to get upset with me and said nothing has come in yet... i again wrote the embassy and this the reply i got from them this evening

*Dear Madam

 even though we sent the hardcopy, another digital version of your application was sent to the aliens authority. Give them some time to respond, in the meantime you should take all necessary steps in order to extend your enrolment deadline.***

He is still asking that i get an enrollment extension after sending him my enrollment certificate like twice now and is saying we should give the alien authority time to respond, when thesame alien office is saying they dont have any application for my visa........... I pray you all dont get bored with my long write up, what i need now is advise on what to do next that will help me get my visa as lectures has started in my school.... Thanks

Um well I dunno duck is a bit cost. 10 euros for 1 k.g or something. Not so sure.
What I do is I put it on a surface and massage it a lil bit... then I put the pieces in a bowl, add olive oil, black and white pepper, salt , thyme and rosemary. After massaging all this in, I leave them in the bowl for about two hours...
Then I take out the potatoes( u can boil it or fry or whatever u want). The red cabbage I cook with salt and sugar to taste. U can add apples for a perfect taste when finished. Champignons u fry with little oil and salt with finely chopped onions .
Back to the duck, put a pan on the cooking plate and turn it on to the highest level. Put the duck in ( no need for oil cause of the oil on the duck) , fry it on each side for 4 minutes like steak and then take it out. U can then cook in the oven at 200 degrees for another 30 minutes depending on how u like ur meat... if u like it half cooked like steak, 15 minutes. After 25 minutes, being out of the oven and then brush some honey on the both sides . Put it back and then finally remove after 5 minutes. If u do not like ur meat brownish, then dont fry before. Just put the meat in the oven from the bowl. Happy eating!!

Your question has been answered naw, why the repetition However Goethe Institut can only be found in Lagos. Even the Kano branch has been closed down due to situation in the North. Follow the advice given to you above or better still come over to Lagos if you insist on Goethe. The date for January semester has not been fixed, that will be later in December.

Bro. I really don’t appreciate when people put comments like this up. Listen, there is nothing wrong with inquiring about the status of your visa application. Afterall, I paid the application fee. We have seen visa gets approved in 2 weeks or less - 9 days in Anvicola’s case. I contacted the embassy 5 weeks after my interview. I waited 5 whole weeks! I contacted them after my resumption date, just to inform them that my school had extended my enrolment. What is wrong with that?

You talk as if these people are super humans. Is it my problem that the Auslanderbehorde is not big or that they have so many applicants? I paid my visa application fee. All the applicants paid - They should employ more hands and deal with it. We paid for it! That’s how it works.

Come to think of it, my admission letter and acceptance letter clearly indicates my resumption date, it is also stated clearly on the visa application form that i filled, and i also mentioned it during my interview. The least they could do was to contact me before my resumption date and ask me to produce evidence of enrolment extension. I paid money for their services - I paid visa application fee - so i deserve the best of services. Emailing me 5 weeks after my interview, after i emailed them to inquire about the status of my application is not the best of services. Let’s call a spade a spade.

These people treat us as if we are secondary humans or inferior humans. And people like you treat them as if they are primary humans or superior humans. And that’s the problem. They don’t respect us. We respect them. I know it’s not just me, but do you realise that we are not even allowed to sit during our interviews? We stand on our feet while the interviewer sits - for 30 plus minutes… C’mon now! Why can’t they provide a chair? It’s their chair and we are not leaving the embassy with it. It’s just for us to sit and be comfortable during interview. Remember, we paid the visa application fee and not matter how small it is, it forms part of their IGR!

Guy…. I don’t care whether I’m rejected or not. I’ll appeal and if its denied, i’ll look elsewhere. I paid 9000Euros for my school fees, funded with another 8000Euros. That’s another IGR for their country!! If this situation presents itself another day, in another way, I will write to whoever concerned to ask about the status of my application. Fight no dey there!

Lol. Told the moniker already. But know that we will get more of this even as new application period begin soon. Not everyone can read from page 1 till now. The best thing is for them to send a PM to whoever they want to direct any question to.

Private Unis? Bros don't give yourself unnecessary headache, just leave the private Unis for the wealthy ones, well except you are one sha. Just a get Noun form, I don't know if it's still on sale and get your 100L transcript. Then you are good to go.
Unlike other schools, Noun is easy and flexible.

With studienkolleg, you will study in German but with 100L transcript you will study in English. I can't It's better you send me a PM. Oga justwise is watching

Those private universities ain't tuition free bro. It all depends on you and the course you intend studying. For example, medical courses will require Studienkolleg for admission and that will take you like one year or more to learn German language and other prerequisite subjects And yes they will give you if it's for studienkolleg. On the other, getting 100L transcript is alot easier I think than studienkolleg and you will get lots of different courses to choose from too.
The ball is in your court, shoot it anywhere you want.

Firstly, am not part of the bosses . I don't think you can get admission with only your WAEC result. You need to attend a university, NOUN or any other and get at least your 100 level result if you want to study in English but If you prefer studying in German, studienkolleg is your best bet. I don't know why you emphasize on private Universities. Perhaps you have a particular school in mind . You can explain better.
P S : You can also read some pages back, am very sure this question has been treated before.

We were 650 foreign students when i went for my entrance exam. They had only 22 places for M course(Med,Pharm,Bio related department), and the other 3 departments had 22 places each. That means out of 600+ foreign students, 88 students passed the entrance exam. I did Bio,Chem,Physics,German and Math A level...everything in German.
We were 22 students when we started, 16 students finished the foundation program. Well , the students from middle east that came with 1,0 (100% or A1 lol) high school result couldn't finish, because most of them didn't use their heads for the results they brought to Germany. I wrote a Feststellungsprüfung (an assessment test) after the second semester (Phy,Math and German), and that was my final score. The final score was added to my NECO result and divided by two. I applied for admission with the points I got from the two exams (NECO and Feststellungsprüfung) and had offers from 4 Universities.

12 of my friends from the Studienkolleg are studying medicine and the rest are studying pharmacy. So it's actually not complicated, you can also work during your studienkolleg. All I will say is that the best way to get admission for a first degree in Germany is through studienkolleg, because the Germans trust the system. Anyone can come here with A level he or she didn't write . Let me know if you still need any info.

@ Eke40seven: I think the easiest way is studienkolleg, because they will also learn German for two semesters. So i don't see it as a waste of time. You can get admission for med with 1,8 and also they don't need B2 for the Aufnahmeprüfung ( entrance exam), they only need B1. If anyone can pass his or her WAEC without stress, then studienkolleg shouldn't be a big deal.

Tests for Msc students depends on the individual I don't think it's a norm already. Just in exceptional cases, and I feel if u do well in the interview u won't be given a test

Has this been confirmed? Pls what's your source. Mehn, lots of changes for 2016. Before it was test for MSc students at the consulate now this.

I can't remember the moniker of that guy that said his alien office requested an additional amount (8400) for his blocked account and he sent 360 on his previous balance of 8040 without any confirmation. The truth is that, he will not get one and will only wait in vain, for that to happen, he will need a supplementary form filled alongside the amount to be transfered. I hope he has requested for the new balance under the contact form.

Now to me, its been over 2 weeks I have been debited with the evdence of my Telex without a reply from the bank for confirmation, deadline no far self. The last time I mentioned it, I didn't get one single suggestion, the ones that commented were more interested in the fact that i could press a panic button which I found not so great, the other guy in same situation had given up already, (you wouldn't imagine how it feels).

I have sent email through the contact form, no reply
Replied the mail they used to send my contact details, no reply
Called my branch directly as predicted they wouldn't disclose info on the phone
Sent email to the embassy ....they said they can't help me.
A very dear friend mobilized some other friends too to check different DB branches around, only one came with a positive reply after standing his ground that he won't leave the bank and would rather die there if they don't give him positive response (true friend)..the bank said the amount remained 15 euros that if that is paid, the problem will be solved, that was on friday and it was paid, and an assurance was given that the confirmation will be sent on Tuesday, today na Wednesday, no reply yet.
I have been a bit calm, but I think this require more drastic actions, October is around the corner for me, for my friend, the trauma have not been easy.
If you reside in Germany or have been through something similar and you have suggestions, please contribute, I have exhausted and applied all my own knowledge on this.

I smell desperation here. He is not going for business again but wants to enter Deutschland through conference. By the way, this is not the best place to get answer for his questions. He should contact the embassy. We are mostly students trying to further our education in Deutschland and not business men or women. I remembered @Zeeblamj01 answered him once and he is back again.

Apparently Rhine Waal seems the only school offering your course. But my advice for you is to have an open mind while choosing courses particularly for undergraduate. I could see some interesting courses while filtering under Engineering which might interest you too. Just make Enquiries of some of those courses available and you will discover that the mechanical and electrical engineering are even embedded in them.
It's an advice though, you could take it or throw it inside trash can.
