There is no way a 720p amoled display would be better than a 1080p amoled display. Samsung cut cost on the A40s by using a 720p display. Damn 720p display on a phone is so 2014. Nobody does that anymore apart from all those cheap Chinese phones. Amoled is amoled no matter how u try to paint it. There's no such thing as 'chaff amoled'. A 720p display would show more pixels than a 1080p display no matter the OEM.

The A40s being a Super AMOLED has the better color reproduction,

Higher maximum brightness and lower brightness nit,

And better whites compared to the cold bluish whites of the Phantom..

Yes,the A40s is the all round better display..

Bro, a 720p display expecially an Amoled one is unforgivable, I wonder why Samsung chose to cut cost this way, better to sacrifice a little battery juice and leave it at 1080p. You can always calibrate your screen to suite your colour taste even if it's not perfect, but there's no way to reduce the noticeable pixels on a large 720p Amoled screen.

Money isn't a factor
My interest is good battery life, processor speed, quality camera, enough memory space. Glo 4g network. Currently have Infinix zero 4 plus. Need a replacement.

Does your recommendation still fit into my interest?
My phone is my second office.

Ok, get the Mi 9T, it will serve well.

Depends on your budget
Mi 8 lite global version is the cheapest, over 70k for the base model. You can also go for the Mi 9T, or Mi Mix 3 if money is not an issue.

See that HP thing ehn, had an experience recently , my friend had a choice between an Alienware and a HP. The Alienware in this case was much better with mad specs, told him to pick the Alienware, showed him specs and all but he was really adamant about choosing the HP "because HP brand name is popular in Nigeria" I was really shocked because the Alienware had more ram and GPU power than the HP he wanted.
It was untill he found out Dell owned the Alienware brand before he budged and picked the Alienware. It is that bad for some people.

It is a name for a phone. Since you are not ok with the performance of the iPhone X in terms of camera I presume, what you need is Google Pixel. If money is not an issue, get the Google Pixel 3 XL or wait a bit for the Pixel 4XL.

Honestly guys, I will need a honest recommendation... I have an IPhone X but truthfully its not delivering the way I want it to(base on Personal reasons)... I want to get an andriod phone and so far I have been thinking of Redmi 7 or Xiaomi Note 7 due to the immense inpopularity I Have seen on review sites... Please tell me which one I should go for base on users experience and the following specs:

Camera pictures...
Battery life..
Subsidy for Laptop..

Get at least a Google Pixel 3a

I completely understand dig your post.

1. Pubg Lags(too many bloats that eat up the ram)
2. Poor battery performance since the update (yesterday was the worst day of my usage of the phone, I watched a movie on it for 1hr from 86% to 56%..just 1hr.. I started to think the battery was damaged in just 2weeks+)
3. The latest bug in the my history of usage.. the automatic speaker on call bug..

Download the rom again and flash manually, if e nr work you either waited for dem tomorrow send it another update to fix am or do factory reset.

I think I encountered a problem since I updated to the latest miui version.
My phone no longer changes themes.
I mean, the icons change alright, but the status bar and status bar icons remain the same like stock.
Even the settings n everything still look like the default theme.
I dunno if this problem is peculiar to me or general.

Worst that can happen is he can factory reset it, but on booting, he'll be required to input his Mi password to be able to access the device.
