He tried updating his RN5 and the image below is what he got. Apparently, the downloaded ROM isn't compatible with his phone. How do I fix this, please?

Please, I need help.

Tried wiping data /factory reset from the above image?

However, I just installed Mi PC Suite, but I'm unsure on which ROM to download, as I have a feeling I'd need to download one eventually.

I'll wait for them to come online.

Doubt if rom is fake, tell him to screenshot his about phone to confirm the rom.

Modified : just seeing phone is not coming up.

I was even talking about Xiaomi's 425.. Like my former RN5A prime.. The phone processor was badass!

Not actually badass, but somehow they managed to optimise it to work superbly with miui especially with multitasking. The Redmi note 5a prime 3/32 holds more apps in the background than the 3/32 Redmi note 5, I think same is happening with the Redmi note 7.

Maybe software update go improve the camera

Not just software sef, hardware like ois get huge impact. Aperture sef dey there.

am also using note 4x, and the phone is now 2 years on june 1, if not that the phone had really had some bad time falling, with the touchpad now faulty i dont have any intention of changing the phone cause redmi note 4x is really a good device and very strong, by the time i get my new redmi 7, i will still be changing the note 4x screen.

Same Redmi note 4x when receive so many bad mouthing too , well, me sef go still buy another screen for mine ooo

gptech is in no position to reply u, he is an ancient in total unity with his beloved note 4x,he doesn't have redmi note 7pro nor own a note 7.

Shey it has same main sensor with the one plus 7 pro but some Youtubers says the camera is great not spectacular and considering that the one plus 7 pro main cam is same quality with the S10+ ......

The problem was on some Redmi Note 5 units, mine was not affected though

Updates even fix am sef, e b affect one of my guys own.

So I just got my Redmi Note 7 and here's what I noticed:

*The rear camera is amazing;Worth the hype.
*Selfie cam is almost horrible, makes face unlocking difficult ( My Redmi Note 5a Prime selfie cam was far better) Even on Gcam, it still isn't encouraging. Wish there was something that can be done about it.
*The battery is by far excellent..
*That emergency SOS is very innovative!

The experience has been wonderful tho..
