After doing some little research, I see one app for playstore, and eventually, everything work like magic, chai, waste of money. Now the Ir blaster dey even more useful than ever before .

Its better you save your contacts to Gmail or Mi account, you'll never lose them unless you forget your username and password, meanwhile, that 'cant activate sim' message is not what is responsible for your not being able to save contacts to sim.

There is likely band 28 in all Global versions of the Redmi note 7 since its coming from the miui site itself, this argument arose with the Mi 8 lite. With the Mi 8 lite, first persons to buy it here got the Chinese version with Global rom flashed by seller, and phone lacked band 28.. I got the Global version for a friend and was surprised it actually has band 28, this might be the case for Redmi note 7 too.

Ok, try and update the phone, if after the update the gcam keeps crashing, you can uninstall and reinstall. There have been cases where simply turning off camera sound in settings helped Gcam from crashing, you may try that first
