Why is it so expensive though? the note 5 pro has much better specs and isn't as expensive as the mi A1

The Mi A1 has the best build quality of all Xiaomi mid range phones I have seen, maybe that's a reason, but Xiaomi's older devices generally seem to be more expensive than newer ones.

Settings - About phone - tap miui version repeatedly for about 7 times to enable developer options. Return back to settings - Additional settings - Developer options - miui unlock status.
Alternatively, you can just reboot your phone, then look below your screen as the Mi logo appears, if it shows unlocked, then bootloader is unlocked.

So this dude right here is the most stupidest, arrogant, rude, intolerant person I have met in my life.
Bought a redmi note screen from him because mine broke few months back.
After fixing my phone I wanted to root my phone and try a gcam camera. So I searched and joined some telegrams group related to xiaomi note 5. Coincidentally, he's admin in one of the group. So seeing that I was like this is my guy now so I messaged him on WhatsApp. He provided some links to me but I didn't just get it because I didn't read it properly. I asked him few noob questions and later on he blocked me on WhatsApp. I wasn't moved by that and just moved on. That was a month back.
So today I tried to root the phone again and one step in the guide wasn't clear to me. So i headed to the telegram to ask the question.
Can you believe that this slowpoke block me again in the group?

loll, I remembered when I was using my OnePlus and I had a problem with my network. I called their Cc and the lady categorically told me on the phone that there is no device called OnePlus and if by chance there is one, it can never support GLO 4G. I nor just follow her argue, I just disconnected.

The total ban on ads will be a bit extreme at the moment even if it's the right thing to do. For some weird reason this seem to be the only thread allowed to have ads despite its huge traffic.

Personally I'll implore every seller to start gradually migrating their full detail ad posts to the Xiaomi Store thread as referenced by Protein0, while they insert abridged versions on a one-ad-per-day in this this thread.

By so doing it'll serve as a palliative measure & cushion the affects of having no ads here when the ads eventually get stopped fully at an agreed timeline.

This also is nice.

. Get either the Redmi note 6 pro, it has a better camera and performance is good, though the Huawei has a better performance, and Redmi note 6 pro will certainly get Android P this year plus many other support from Miui and other third party developers.
