note 6 display is more accurate than note 5 in color balance quality due to presence of too much white on note 5 screen nd its also prone to screen bleeds.

Screen bleed? I haven't seen anyone with that, it's not a property of note 5's screen, maybe a tiny few units have that which of course should be expected because of mass production. As for colour accuracy, that's subjective but in terms of screen performance, the note 5 has a higher maximum brightness plus lower minimum brightness resulting in a superior contrast ratio. It also has better sunlight legibility, these parameters make the note 5 have a better display than the note 6 pro.

go for note 6 pro 4gb/64gb variant if u love notch screen , good display quality, good camera and future Android update support from miui. On the other hand, redmi note 5 is getting old nd obsolete day after day from miui support table, their is a chance twil remain on android oreo forever

I think the note 5 performs better than the note 6 pro in terns of display, that's according to reviews because I haven't tested both side by side. Also the Note 5 will get Android P, that's certain, and I don't think it's getting less support from miui, the reverse is actually the case.

You can do OTA but you'll lose both TWRP recovery and Root.
