Bosses please I have a luthian generator I bought brand new about two years ago. It's working perfectly and I've never services it which is bad of me.
Switched it on days ago,switched on but went out.
Tried switching it on again and it fired from the exhaust and I left it alone.
Please should I be worried or just go service it?

Your AVR is likely the issue, take it to their service center as advised since it's still new.

No it won't. If cash is not an issue, it's better to invest in inverter ACs.

Yes, it will still consume high. The engine is big so its natural for it to consume more fuel. Since he has already agreed for 300k, buy it and maybe sell if your usual load is what you posted. You can even sell it at a higher price and get a smaller gen like 3.5 to 4.5kva that will meet your needs.

Don't go and kill your generator oooo. The conversion you posted is direct mechanical power conversion, doesn't work like that in generators because of lots of losses. The Sumec Firman SPG3000E2 for instance has an Engine power of 6.5 HP but its a 3.5kVA (2.8KW) generator. If we go by your calculations, it means the SPG3000E2 is a 6.45KVA generator, even Sumec sef go fear .

These stats are same as when the noise was calm.
Load is just Fridge, TV, Home theatre, bulbs.
The sound today was worse. Just like a gen of more than 1year old. The white puff of smoke came out again during startup. Could it be oil? I use the yellow Conoil Golden Super.

Open the oil drain cover and see if oil pours out, if it does, then there's too much oil which can lead to the problems you face.
You might also need to change oil completely, will advise total or mobil 20W-50.

Hello professors

Something funny about that blue TEC Optima gen I got 2 months ago.

Nowadays, I noticed the noise is slightly deeper like a growl although its not harsh. Just slightly deeper than the first 2 weeks I got it.

As at 3 week ago, I noticed that when I turn it on, it exhales some white smoke first. This also happens when I switch off.

I thought it may be oil so I changed oil even though it wasn't low yet but its still happening. I then thought it was the air filter and found out it wasn't even dirty at all when I opened it so I put it back. So now I'm at a loss as to why these symptoms.

I don't want to wait till a major issue crops up. The VFT display stats are same as the first day I got it though just that deep noise and white puff of smoke that I don't understand.

Can you tell me a reason why these could be happening or am I overthinking it?
