damoch:To choose different colours for each app is done inside the app itself or go to settings - Notification and status bar - App notifications - select the app you want and click on 'app settings'. Note you can't change the notification colour of every app, of all the apps I use for instance, only whatsapp can be changed to any colour. |
spartacus11:Chai! If I use my Redmi note 2 touch u mostly for afternoons ehnn, that Mtk Helio x10 na descendant of the sun . |

You can download any wallpaper of your choice and apply via gallery. For the led notifications go to settings - Additional settings - Notification light. For notification light of apps like whatsap and messenger go to settings - Notification and status bar - App notification-then check and ensure it's enabled. |
kingdvd:Aliexpress is cheaper, safer, plus some sellers include some gift items like adapter plug or screen guard. You have the opportunity to order accessories like earpiece, casing, etc together. With Jumia you get just your phone, without gift, and buying accessories is more expensive. |

toluwanimi07:Exactly everything speaks clone, even the screen resolution, Xioami has been known to have so many clones rightly from time, have seen a cloned Mi3 myself that is now dead, the owner actually thought he got the real deal, until we met, very pathetic. This is one reason am afraid to tell a friend in China to help me get a Xioami. |
helenmi:Lots of people |
CHESTER48:Boss, let's just forget about this, you are still mixing things up, and yes the Huawei P10 can outperform the Galaxy s8 in certain occasions. What you should understand is the configuration of these settings. The aperture being low has an advantage only in one area (low light), and it's only an advantage when implemented properly. For instance, the Sony Xperia XZ premium out performs the Galaxy S8 in some environment when the light is very very low, and a tripod is required for such shots to minimise handshake. How is this possible despite the the s8 sporting a lower aperture? The Xperia employs a different lens entirely, plus the Sony software is tweaked to reduce the shutter speed far lower than the Samsung's even though both can increase their ISO settings to numbers as high as 3200. Point here is the aperture is just one parameter that determines how bright a picture can be, others are Iso and shutter speed, and each manufacturer tweak these parameters differently to produce a good processed image. If we go by your logic, then if a company like Tecno can slap thesame lens and sensor of the S8 on their device, then they would have got themselves one of the best cameras on phones. Wonder why even though Sony makes the sensors for almost everyone, they still lag behind the likes of Samsung in image production? |
CHESTER48:Aperture is not entirely the reason they shoot sharp images, are you now saying the Nokia 6 shoots better pics than the Huawei P10 with f/2.2? ![]() |
CHESTER48:You sef like argument pass fight, you go upload pics from somewhere nobody complained, I did similar thing and your are already crying foul? Both cameras were compared same time, I did the screenshots to show your errors about focal length, Oya take, it's a video on YouTube, oya send your link too for others to verify. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hh6Mxg1kQgI Instead of you to admit your blunder on how you defined shutter speed, you are shouting 'master of photography', we learn everyday bros, just swallow your pride, I nr be oga . When we are done with this, we will go into comparing speed of both the Nokia 6 and Huawei P9 to see the blunder you typed . I have seen illiterate people call people better than them educationally illiterates, so save yourself the name calling ooo .. Modified : This oga can lie for Africa ooo, so na you take the pics ursef? You said you stated the time the pics were taken, still looking for the time here oooo. |

CHESTER48:E don do oooo, chai! You are obviously a lay man in photography no offence intended ooo . See your definition of shutter speed, oya make I give u an assignment, use your camera on your phone to snap both out doors and indoors, check the properties of the images and upload here, you'll see that the shutter speed and Iso will never be thesame. There is a reason we talk about software processing in phones. Did you even notice that the Redmi note 4 is brighter than the Nokia 6 in the pics of the flowers, while the Nokia has more colour saturation? It's not even surprising to tell what happened. The iso and shutter speed have been tweaked differently by each phones' software. When you post pictures like this, it doesn't even help in your argument, because the settings will never be the same. If you set a camera to an aperture of f/1.8, Iso 200 and shutter speed of 1/100, it can never be as bright as one set to an aperture of f/2.8, Iso 800 and shutter speed of 1/60. Now this analogy is what different manufacturers do to their softwares to get the best images from their phone cameras. Different configuration of Iso and shutter speed have been stored up on the phone's software to handle shots from different environments, that's why it's called automatic settings. So, you comparing shots from different brands to try to explain the use of lenses with different apertures is totally out of place because of different softwares applied. To buttress, do these screenshots help?

CHESTER48:You are simply just quoting theories without bothering to experiment. Nobody is saying lower aperture doesn't equate to brighter pictures. You are just stating it as if both phones are using thesame sensors, only then can you be correct. The sensor applied on the Huawei is far superior to that on the Nokia, you can search that to confirm. From what you have been posting about smaller focal length, so it is safe by your logic to say the Nokia 6 will output similar pictures as the Sony Xperia xz premium with an aperture of f/2.0 also. Or a Nikon D3300 set at an aperture of 2.0 will outperform a Nikon D7100 set at an aperture of 2.8. I hope you know that apart from aperture there are other ways to employ to make a lens perform well under poor lighting like Iso and shutter speed?. Again as for the gpu of the Nokia 6 coupled with its Cpu it can best be described as a low midranger no matter how you try to defend it, the Huawei is flagship and both should not even be compared. |
polymaths:Of course they are, but run away from their mid range phones, they are simply overpriced, just like the likes of Samsung. |
shedy03:Hahaha, check the moniker noobody not nobody. |
shedy03:Ask noobody from the Xiaomi thread. |
saky18:Not that, its where the battery status and network are located. |
helenmi:Time to flash a new rom |
toluwanimi07:Who cares about name anymore, indeed apart from build quality and 4G band 28, and maybe camera, the Nokia is no match for the Redmi note 4 not to mention the great Huawei P9, am just baffled, didn't even intend to comment. |
CHESTER48:All what you are stating are invalid! Are you actually comparing the weak snapdragon 430 with the Huawei kirin 955? Blasphemy! You even dare to compare the weak sensor of the Nokia to the wonderful Leica of the Huawei, because you think that lower aperture (f number) always translate to a better picture, lol! I doubt you have handled a camera, of course lower f number translates to brighter pictures in poor light but will be useless if your lens is not powerful enough. Lastly the Huawei P9 supports band 28 for glo 4G and even more bands than the Nokia 6, just get the right version. Please do enough research before saying stuff you might not understand bro. For your comparison http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=7972&idPhone2=6885&
|
Otantu:Leave d guy make e dey quote big grammar there, imagine the comparison, smh. |
CHESTER48:Please modify that mtk part, plus if the Huawei is genuine, that's a great deal, it's a flagship with a chip that competes with the snapdragon 820, the nokia 6 has a low end processor (snapdragon 430).not even a midrange one. The only advantage of the Nokia here is that he is buying it new as you already stated. |
GrandMufti:Hahahahahahahaha, I suspect a confused seller . |
nabeans:E still dey baffle me why you intend buying a Redmi note 4x instead of the Redmi note 4 SD, wen e dey clear say the Redmi note 4 SD even technically dey better, because of additional 4G band. Maybe you think say both get different performance, infact na technical downgrade you dey look for . |
toluwanimi07:Ndooo, dem don notice u na . |
fibonacci2526:Hehehehe, nr b small, the man even forget the Redmi note 4 mtk 2gig ram, 16gig rom, plus I bet say many pple nr kw say Mi Max get 2gig ram, 16gig rom version .
