Erm, na only Chinese rom sha oooo for now, why not wait within a month to get the global rom with Nougat?

Na Glo I dey use and e good for my area. I bought the redmi 4x and Dem tell me say e support Glo 4G. Anyways, I followed someone else's suggestion already and it worked. Thanks for the help still

Dial the code already given *#*#4636#*#* then select phone information 1 or 2 depending on which sim you use, scroll down abit and change 'set preferred network type' to WCDMA only.

N/B: whenever you switch off, reboot, or turn on airplane mode, you'll need to do this again, because it wiki reset to the default settings.

There has never been any midnight wait ish with Gtb or any other bank except UBA who already has stopped it, you can buy at any time you want; it's better to load Alipocket too.

Erm, you use Redmi 4x and you are on Chinese developer rom right? Meaning you are already on Nougat.

There is no rival for the Samsung note series because of the S pen, of course the Note and the S series are essentially thesame, save for the S pen and the added features to make it useful.

Yes, that's the final Android it will ever get, only miui updates will be available, will definitely get miui 9. Even phones like the highly rated Redmi note 2 and Redmi note 3 mtk didn't get any Android upgrade. Those buying the Redmi series should never expect an Android upgrade (still surprised the Redmi 4x is even getting) because they are at the bottom of the scale of preference. Think of it, in comparison with Samsung for instance, the Redmi series are like the J series, the Redmi note series like the A series, and the Mi series are like the S series.

Doesn't matter, your seller must have flashed that on your phone.
There has been only 3 official roms for this device; it's quite new, version 8.2.10.0 and the other two shown in the screenshot, download the latest rom and flash to solve your problem. You should have told your seller to ensure he flashes the official global stable rom for you. Here's the link for downloading the rom, http://en.miui.com/download-323.html.

Please I just got this xiaomi Redmi 4x. Thanks to ur excellent reviews. By I noticed that even on standby mode the battery still drains as though it is in use and can loose up to 30% in 5hrs without usage. Pls how do I fix this. Anybody please help!!

I buy am for a friend, the sound really good, though the Xiaomi dey better, but the Qzk dey louder by far, of course distortion dey occur towards maximum volume as expected.
