princetom1: How much is mi 6 with all the bells and whistle? There is even a silver edition on the way that is insane. Check Giztop for mi 6, 6gb ram and 64gn rom for just 399.99 usd. So, tell me wat again. And Mi max 2 doesn't have half of the bells and whistle of mi 6 o You mean $400 at launch price or retail price? |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 2:04pm On May 25, 2017 |
princetom1: Sure, bt am willing to pay 300 usd for mi max 2 with Snapdragon 660. At the bolded, that's why they are called mid rangers. And that is why u have snapdragon 652 last year and snapdragon 660 this year and the helio x series. Princetom1 this na business, u nr go make a device to crush the need for another, equipping the Mi Max 2 with S660 join d other specs list puts it at flagship level. |

BluePearls: I'm truly disappointed with Mi Max 2 specs How can one pay $248 for a SD-625? They couldn't even up it to SD-626. All my wait in vain. Now people will snap up the remaining Mi Max in the market Looks like Xiaomi prioritized battery life over performance, not too many people will be happy with this or going it (unless of-course, they decide to drop the price considerably....evil grin). I like the new look and all, but is it enough to tempt me to go for it? Thank you Xiaomi for making me more confused...
I foresee another Xiaomi device with the SD-660 but much later in the year. Very correct, only the price is where they got it wrong for me, way too expensive considering price of last year's flashships. |

princetom1: Even if dem steal mine now, will buy another mi max or leeco max 3. Can't pay a premium for 625.
Shuu, does Xiaomi wanna turn to oppo and Vivo? Obviously d quality of hardware dey better so price must go up, not justifying the high price sha, but imagine if na s660, you go pay almost $400? |

princetom1: 821, 28nm process? Ignore d mistake jare |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:53pm On May 25, 2017 |
princetom1: Actually, at that price, am paying for a midranger and snapdragon 625 is considered a budget processor and it's from last year again (huh ). Leeco, am wishing u well o. Leeco won't ever come this low, their worstest is mtk x series. They should have given us x30 instead. Princetom1, if nr b say dem steal my phone, I for dey argue like you now because I nr ever reason this S625 because of wetin reviews talk but now my eyes don clear. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:49pm On May 25, 2017 |
princetom1: Wait for leeco Le max 3 den at same price or lower with snap 820 or 821 You kw d drift na, LEeco don lose price touch, but if e blike dat na good thing for we d consumers, but expect 3000mah for 28nm processor sha |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:47pm On May 25, 2017 |
princetom1: Buying snapdragon 625 is like buying helio p20 (p20 even perform better in benchmark). Am sure u will be vexing if the spec has read mtk helio p20 Hahahahahahahaha, na poo na, coming from Helio x10 wetin go make me go with P? |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:34pm On May 25, 2017 |
princetom1: Yea, maybe just u. Majority of people who buy this phone online are geek, even not geek, they are savvy with phone specifications. Read comments on all the blogs online, everyone is just dissapointed, read comments from gsmarena, compare what they were saying about Mi Max wen it was launched and now mi max 2. Let's hope they use snapdragon 625 because 660 isn't readily available yet and global version with 660 will be release soon (free to dream).
For most of us that love huge screen (6 inch plus), we love to have it all like odas, good camera, and good processor. Like me, i spend alot of time on d road, to kill time, i play games, (graphic intensive games like mk3, p rangers et all), watch movies and listen to music. If i want a downgrade, will go for cheap devices like leagoo shark 1 and cubot et all, i don't wanna buy an almost 300 usd phone with Snapdragon 625. Abeg who dey near this man, make e borrow am note 4 for a day oooo, u think say u nr fit do all that with s625, I mean efficiently? You come even dey call Leegoo shark(I feel like crashing this thing everyday, even Redmi 4x dey far better) join sef, smh. S625 don suffer for una hand oooo. Of course if dem put S660, very few pple go dey ready to pay the flagship price, even the stated price on this don too high already. I get your point sha, but I still insist make you handle any device running s625 then come back, forget ppl comments for gsmarena and co, many na novice for phone matter. |

nadalion: @Vintino Have you messaged the seller to ask if the item was actually shipped? also I don't know but if the device in question is a Snapdragon Xiaomi phone then changing the imei won't be that easy so I'll suggest you track the imei IF THATS POSSIBLE. My Oga them, Gptech, Grandmufti, Rookidmart, is tracking of a new device via imei possible?(these question is based on the fact that he saw the phone carton). Nice point there, I think it will be a bit complex to track with imei. |
