Greeting y'all I really got to ask, if I buy a kinda old xiaomi device like let's say the Mi 8 like how many times will I need to update it(security patches,android versions and miui version)..till its fully update thanks in advance

You are on a Custom ROM. I wonder why someone will sell a phone with a custom ROM to someone who might be possibly not so much versed in that world.

To switch to official stable ROM, you will need a PC and download a Fastboot ROM to flash the phone.

But like I also said, consider changing your battery as well.

In trying to resolve this problem, I signed out of my google accounts, removed them, and now I can't re-add the accounts anymore as I get a "can't sign in. there was a problem communicating with google servers, try again later" error message.

As it is, I have no access to gmail, playstore, google drive etc.

Can anyone using a Xiaomi with MIUI 12.0.1.0 stable (QEDCNXM) rom upload his Google play services so I can try it out?

the price of generator now is Damn expensive, considering the hike in dollar exchange and other high cost. I planned settings up a business soon and I buying the thing I need gradually.

here is the problem. the constant elepaq generator which I thought no is rugged for the job is sold for 90k now when I priced it.

also I saw a guy that is selling used generator he was closing shop at the time. I ask him how much he is selling used generator. after bargaining. he said the last price for 3000 watts he will give me for 30k last price. then the one of 1.3 kva he would give me for 15k last. he said he would advise I for for the 3000 watt he said it has a big engine and coil. said I will enjoy it.

this look quite cheap is only the generator would served it purpose for the main time only before I buy a better rugged generator. my fear is that they might be a Nigerian used generator.

well I told him I will come and inspect them week..

please guys has anyone here bought a use gen before? I don't need to use it for several years. even if it's just for a year. but my fear and problem is giving problem and probably unusable to serve the purpose I bought it. I will buy a better generator within the first year of usages.

I need a temporary generator, as I don't wasn't to carry the one I'm using at home. that one is serving me at home.

Please I am new to this thread, I am ready to dump my current brand for Xiaomi note 9 pro. But I have read several reviews where people complain of pop-up adverts on the screen. Pls how frequent does this happen and can it be stopped ?

A71 vs mi 10 lite? , they are not in the same price point to start with bud , a71 cost way higher than the MI 10 lite, bring up a Samsung within the same price point for a comparison spec for spec bud,let's have an edifying discussion or we can still do a spec for spec comparison of both after you've brought up the Samsung in mi 10 lite price point for comparison ,deal?

good day everyone. I noticed videos ain't clear on my redmi note 8 pro, same video will be so clear in other phones. I even had to watch some Facebook and Instagram videos on my new phone and it's still d same thing, not clear. any idea?

I noticed mine is not as optimal as it used to be. Im not sure if it's Ram or age that is worrying it.
I mostly experience this when I'm using Chrome, although I notice it slightly in other apps.
I used to think it was.
I used to think it was cookies and browser history clogging up but after numerously clearly cache and browser history, I don't think that's the culprit.

Pls is there something I can do to make my phone faster?
