There's been this thought in my mind for a while now; why is RN8 pro (6,64gb) almost the same price has RN9s (6,128gb)?
Note 7 was more expensive than the note 8, at a time note 4 was similarly priced as the note 5, note 10 might also be similarly priced as the note 9/9s, that's Xiaomi for you. Don't allow the pricing to confuse you, competition is stiff.
TJ0987: He has tried it, it just keeps vibrating. Guys, Kindly assist please.
Sorry for replying very late, it means he has to open up the back of the phone so he can remove the battery and flash the fastboot rom using test points. He can check the Internet for guide on how to flash his phone using test points.
TJ0987: Hello guys, my 15 year old brother attempted to root the redmi 6A I bought for him on the 9th of July last year. However, the phone went off and didn't go on again (it just keeps vibrating when you plug it in, as if to charge it). He says after following the instructions on the YouTube video, he didn't clear the memory of the phone i.e factory reset, as was instructed in the video. Please is there any hope for him? Or is the phone gone for good? Here is a link to the YouTube video:
macbeyland: Guys, has anyone noticed that Redmi k30 comes with one of best IPS displays I have seen on any Xiaomi phone?
The display of K30 almost gives an Amoled feel.
I use Max 3, Note 8T and Redmi K30, and I have also handled other xiaomi phones with IPS display.
Theres just something different about the k30 screen which is quite noticeable the moment you turn on the phone.
Saw this yesterday but couldn't reply because of spambot wahala. Even though I haven't handled the K30, I understand what you said perfectly. I can tell you that the Mi 8 lite has a, should I say far better display than the Redmi note 7 and 8. If you hold the note 8 side by side with the Mi 8 lite, the note 8 really looks inferior. The Mi 8 lite has really good blacks especially, pops more colours and has a kind of 3D feel, like the icons are just on top of the screen. I expect the Redmi k30 to be even better.
No, won't ignore . You lost just 3% after 3 hours of idle time with two fluctuating networks, that's a really good battery performance you have there. Secondly, you don't need to panic whether phone idle, or Android system or whatever is at the top of the list of battery consumption on your device, battery is meant to be consumed, consumption can never be totally the same. As I believe you already know, temperature, screen brightness ( if you use auto brightness and spend most of your time using your phone outdoors, expect more battery drain since screen brightness will automatically go to maximum), screen on time (the total time your screen lights up), network stability/ instability, mobile hotspot, WiFi, quality of video watched ( FHD movies consume much more battery than lower res movies like 720p, 480p, 360p, etc), type of games played, change of location ( you'll observe that your battery drains faster when traveling), to mention but a few, affect the rate of battery consumption. It is practically impossible for two persons to have exactly same battery consumption even though they use similar devices. So long you get a good SOT on your normal routine, there's nothing to worry about.
iKingsley: 390. Cheapest of all. It's literally the same price you see while on AliExpress. With other banks, if you see 15k and made order, you will get debit of around 16k or more. It's really messy I must say
brizzle116: so there's nothing I can do?? You told me to update my phone so I thought it was through the updater..
For an update that large, it's advisable to download manually to avoid such occurrences. You'll find this handy just incase you experience any bug after updating, all you'll need to do is to update again using same rom file you already downloaded.
If you know you know o. Person wey scout MI 9T since last year and never buy nor ready to buy phone o.
Abeg, if you see person dey ask how clear the 9S camera is, how smooth it is, how this it is, how that it is, na him I dey refer to. No waste your time. He no go buy the 9S too. He dey look for perfect device.
colorsofrainbow: But only one noticeable con about this RN9s for me is the weight... it's d heaviest phone i've ever used in my life esp after using the pouch, tempered glass & the camera protective glass on it... Any lady wey go fit use dis heavy fone dey try o. Aside that, the fone make sense die
Na d consequence of huge battery na, u go still see some persons complain say d phone nr light like their Galaxy s10. Dem go tell u say dem want phone with the battery like of Redmi Note 9s and with an S10 light weight, just wait small .
