My new Redmi Note 4x 4gb/6gb drains rather fast, I've used this phone before and the battery was excellent. Pls what could be the cause house and how do I resolve this?

Guys, my Redmi Note 4x seems to have degenerated into a worst possible state. Attached is the image of what has been happening since morning after attempting to power it on. It doesn't boot to the home screen and it has refused to turn off. It has been like this for over 6hrs.
What's the solution for this with steps please and is there a way to access my files in the phone to possibly copy them out?

Bro I removed the back cover now and saw the battery connector is damaged, the prong of the battery connector don cut inside the motherboard

Volume down + power button wouldn't respond since the battery is low, and when I plug in charger the phone keeps rebooting at mi logo.

If I disconnected the power button and battery the phone would work normally?

My Redmi Note 4 is only charging when switched off (and charges slowly).

I've tried with different chargers, still same thing.
