In the spirit of this festive season, my oga Jboixxx has decided to gift out 3 32GB OTG drives to the people of this thread. He'd like at least a student to get one and the other 2 are up for grab. The first student(with proof of being one) to quote this post gets one, yeah that simple while the other 2 drives will be given to first 2 posters on the next 2 pages. *You can only win once*

Merry Xmas to y'all.
Nice gesture, God bless jboixxx and others who have been doing stuff like this. One day we will do give aways with phones cool.

@quivah, as your apps increase in your device, battery normally drains faster because some of those apps constantly run in the background.

After using Redmi note 3 for about two years, I have finally joined the note 8 team ( and also added DH to the Xiaomi community, he is impressed).
Well, so far, note 8 has been refreshing.
Not much review now, but its most outstanding feature isn't so exceptional after all.
I have had a better camera from oppo with much lesser specs .12mp, which I will rate 8.5/10.
Well, maybe it was just the hypes with note 8 48mp.

I read some comments here about a girl's opinion of the note 8's camera, and some guys here were saying she probably doesn't know what good camera means.
I felt wow, note 8 must be so high then.
Not until I handled mine. Its 48mp isn't exactly what I expected. 7.3/10.
The front camera is out of it!.
But all the same, it's a significant upgrade from my note 3.
I think the note series generally don't have great cameras. Forget the number dem dey write for MP.
And yeah, I know what a good phone camera is and does.

The speed is incredible. I'm still finding it hard to use this on-screen buttons sha. If I need to click the space bar, sometimes I got the home button lol. And no, I got tiny fingers.
The sound is excellent and loud.
The phone is sleek.
We got blue and black colours. I love blue, but I got black.
And erm, I got a nano liquid screen protector from my seller, Maybach, I use YouTube to guide me through its installation but right now, I don't know if it worked. I mean, how does one test this? I'm not tempted to use my key to scratch my screen tho (illustrated in most of the videos I watched, but thank you, one even used hammer wtf?!) I am still getting a tempered glass sha.
I got a new case from my seller too. It's fresh, but it covered the phone's beauty, so I'm using the follow come silicone case, maybe for now until I don't find this phone special anymore ( which usually takes just a few weeks).
The battery is more than okay. I moved my data and apps from my old phone to note 8 using the Mi mover. Okay, talking about this now, I just realized shey I never move some bugs sef join like this?.
Cause e dey be like say I had more battery performance before I moved my apps abi na just my thinking? Cc gptech, grandmufti help me o.
Anyways on H+, it takes about 5 mins to lose 1% charge. I will have to compare it with my hubby's.

Dh already got an alert for the update to mini 11, but I never see anything. Not that I'm upgrading soon.

and Graphics is more than 'just okay.' Dark wallpapers make it come out better and beautiful.

overall 8/10. (for the price).

PS; I'm definitely selling in a few days! I got this for the camera, but I'm not impressed. no, be only me notice am.
Perspective! Maybe you should go for flagship devices since you are after cameras. What is good for you might be bad for others and vice versa. Never be moved by mega pixel count on cameras, picture quality largely does not depend on mega pixels just like larger ram does not determine speed of phones. For example the Redmi note 4 with 13mp outperforms the Redmi note 3 pro with 16mp. Coming from the note 3, maybe you actually expected a really huge upgrade with the cameras. Having said that, the Redmi note series starting with the Redmi note 5 offer better camera experience than any other phone with similar price bracket, it became even better starting from the note 7 because gcam can just be downloaded and used without any tweak, since camera2api is enabled out of the box. This is the real hype behind the cameras. The Redmi note 7 has a very good camera, the pro is even far better, that your friend said otherwise doesn't mean much afterall someone said the Samsung Galaxy A70 has a better camera than the Oneplus 7 pro some days back, fast forward to today, she is completely blown away by the cameras of the Mi 9T, it completely floored the A50 and A70 (side by side comparisons were made).
cc Fibonacci2526, madam is 'over satisfied ooo' grin.

That you still mentioned 48mp shows you know nothing about photography.

This issue of 48mp has been addressed here on several occasions. Check Gptech's posts.

Really surprised that people still bring it up.
Today na Xmas oooo. If you buy phone because of camera, then you just look for the ones with higher mega pixels, then the phones with best camera for the world for be mid range phones from Infinix and Tecno na grin.

Hello guys.

I want to get my phone replacement battery on AliExpress. The most common battery is BN 47 for Redmi Note 4X while my phone is Redmi Note 4.

I would like to know whether Note 4 can use 4X battery without any issue.
If your note 4 is the snapdragon version then the BN43 is what you should buy.

So the 0.14" difference in screen size is what makes the max 2 far bigger?
Why wait for big screen devices when the Mi Note 10 is 6.67" or the Max 3 is also there as well.

There is a clear difference in performance between the two devices except you are not a heavy user.
Physical appeal, the Mi Max with 6.44 inch display looks far bigger and more noticeable than the Oneplus 7 pro with 6.67 inch display, compared both yesterday side by side. Aspect ratio as you know is the trick. There's no way someone who is used to the size of the Mi Max won't find anything else awkward.
