Good day guys, I just join Xioami Family, gotten myself Redmi Note 8 Pro today contesting to our one and only Mother (fibonacci2526) May God continue to Bless and enriching her.

Please Am having issues with my phone, though have updated my phone to MIUI 11 am having a poor SOT on my phone. Have used for 3hrs 27mins and the battery drop from 100% to 73%.

Also Data Connectivity issue, the connection is just showing ON & OFF, if it display 4g now within 30sec it will disappear again. As am typing this I have to connect it with WiFi as I was forced to remove sim back to my iPhone.

Also the touch light at back of the phone is not bright at all, even my small NOKIA touch light is brighter than the touch light.

Please any solution to this?

Phone looked great at first sight as at 2010, later hated it, the touch responsiveness was weak. Meanwhile, this phone give my friend sleepless night sha, naim dream phone that year, the guy was embarrassed a bit with himself when he later got a hold of the phone, didn't meet his expectations because he already used a Blackberry Storm . Indeed phones are getting cheaper, thanks to competition.

My love for Sony Ericsson then, so las las this phone die late last year . Until its death I use am oppress people in the days of the Nokia 2700 and express music. The display be like FHD for where those Nokia yeye java and many symbian phones dey those ones blike 360p displays. If you like get a feel, the display blike the Nokia N95 display, battery lasts longer than the Nokia Xpress music phones, then the camera na killer, oppress everything around even the blackberry bold 2/4 nr fit meet up, na the bold 5 eventually catch up and beat am for some situations. If dem nr tell you, you nr go even know say this phone get camera (slide up mechanism wen Android don bring back ). The only cons for this phone and other Sony Ericsson phones then na their yeye proprietary charging/earpiece port plus the use of M2 memory card instead of the popular micro SD card.

Atleast with my knowledge then... Java was prevalent at a point, before symbian overtook with a distinguishing feature of being able to minimize apps and toggle between them too. Nokia tried to do a java phone with that feature but it just wasn't it (Nokia c3-00).

This naim b nostalgia . Meanwhile so many Sony Ericsson java phones could multitask very well then but as usual, many were ignorant because of Nokia. Look at the screenshot, the marked button is for multitasking.

Will pick a 3gig ram note 8 anyday over even a 6gig ram Redmi 8, the so called ram issue is not as bad as people paint it.

Maybe to meet the need of a particular niche at first, but later Economics, they have to try to always create a need or a void. Have you imagined if the Redmi note 4 for instance has the form factor of current devices? Many people for nr gree upgrade .

That was a mistake ma'am. They are not in my file manager and I didn't use a memory card.

Log out of your Mi account, then login again, reboot and check.

Thanks Odinga. I rebooted twice, but still couldn't find them. Now, the sad part is, 90% of my photos have now disappeared including the stock camera images.

@ Gptech, the images are not on Google Photos. The phone is Note 8.

I dunno bout you guys, but have you tried using snap chat on RN8, the quality is disgusting �. I really like the stock cam and the gcam, but when it comes to Snapchat... It feels par to low quality infinix and tecno phones.. I don't even know why�

CCheck Whatsapp video too, it will get better with updates, reminds me of the Redmi note 5.

Please, what could be the reason and what can I do to revert the pictures?

Took a selfie with the same camera on Gcam and stock cam.. The difference is like Genesis to Revelation.... Why cant all those developers work For a better stock cam on Xiaomi

Seems even Huawei, Apple, and Samsung have no answer to Google's computational photography. They use the weakest hardware but still are always on top with the very best. Can't imagine the outcome if they decide to go all out on hardware too.
