The issue now is saving that amount. Most people are only left with the last double allowee after POP.

The question is "What are the things making it so hard for Corp members to even save during NYSC year?

What do you expect him to say? Tope Alabi, Sammie Okposo, Sinach etc will defend all the money hungry pastors because they invites them to their church to perform. Indirectly he(Atorise) is affiliated with most of those money hungry pastors. He need their church platform to perform as special guest artist in a Thanksgiving service or Anniversary where he will be paid thousands of hundred. So i'm not surprise he is defending them because it will definitely affect him indirectly if money isn't flowing in the hands of these money hungry pastors.

Tithe paying is a REVELATION

FOR THE ELECT: please pay your tithe because half obedience to God is equal to disobedience. Salvation, Holiness, Love, Obedience....are all we need to make heaven. And on Sunday they will take tithe to church, daddy in the lord will pray over it, immediately they are saint. Since tithe is more important than their salvation wetin concern daddy g.o and salvation just bring the money come to church as tithe and become church chairman or VIP.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if Nigerians were to be the real Isrealite, Nigerian pastors would have brain washed all nigerians. Even the real Isrealite are now a learner when it comes to being religious, Nigerians Hypocrisy.

We invoke the name of God only when it suits our purpose most especially all these money focused pastors, while in reality we live a very deceitful lifestyle trying to deceive ourselves and the rest of the world into thinking that we a more religious people than the rest of humanity. There is no better word for this than hypocrisy.

That's why we have about 2 self proclaimed god in Nigeria, Olumba Olumba and Sat Guru more of them. Majority of Nigerian Christians are man worshipers not God worshipers and so gullible, the moment you talk against their god or make critics you see their followers coming for your head.

In light of that passage which make clear how Jesus felt about the practice of tithing, I doubt that the practice was followed by the apostles. Nowhere in The NT do we read about the apostles either preaching tithing, or practicing it.

Tithing was never practiced by the early church.The great apostle Paul even while spreading the Gospel from country to country actually fended for himself (1 thes 2:9,2 thes 3:7-10) The early Christians freely sold their possessions and laid them at the Apostles feet Acts 2:45, it didn't say 10 %

There is no record in the new testament where any of these great apostles paid tithes. I challenge YOU with any contrary opinion to quote any line of the NEW TESTAMENT TO PROVE THAT THE APOSTLES PAID TITHES. How come the NT didn't talked about it among the important things these great apostles want us to emulate from them as a Christians.

How come something important as TITHE was omitted in NT, but NT talked about how Jesus told his disciple about the poor widow's offering Mark 12:41-44.

NT talked about storing up riches for yourselves here on earth (Matthew 6:19-21)

NT talked about you cannot serve both God and money(Luke 16:13)

NT talked about how Jesus had last supper with his disciple, fed thousands with breads and fishes, how he rode donkey to Jerusalem,he talked about helping the needy etc.

But not about TITHING, maybe the writers must have forgot that part.

So tell us where in New Testament Christ collected tithe or paid tithe since you said "Abraham seed referred often in the bible was Christ" How come there wasn't continuation? You are just so confused. Imagine how our money focused pastors are milking us dry despite that we are not the real isrealite, what would have happened if we are the real isrealite. I don't blame the so called money focused pastors I blamed the gullible followers who think it's God collecting their tithe. Even when they are aware that paying of tithe won't make them inherit heaven if they lose the salvation of their soul.

I still don't know why tithing issue is becoming a day to day topic these days. The only question I throw out to those who are brainwashed or money focused pastors regarding tithing is that : Show us where in the scripture(Bible) where Jesus Christ and his disciples and other great apostle of God paid tithe or collected tithe in the NEW TESTAMENT. Christian simply means CHRIST LIKE simply put we follow all the teaching of Jesus Christ who is the author and the finisher of our faith. Someone once told me that I should pray to God regarding tithing issue and I will understand better, I asked if Jesus and his disciples and other great apostle of God forgot to pray over tithing issue maybe that's why there is no where in the bible where they paid tithe or collected tithe.

Please in the name of God, stop deceiving people. Is tithing a prerequisite to enter heaven or for blessing? The answer is NO you and I know that. Tithing is Mosaic, Jesus Christ came to fulfill all the requirements of the Mosaic Law for us. The ultimate requirement of the Mosaic Law boiled down to an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life. The sentence of death was on every single descendant of Adam. If pastors re-institute tithing, which is part of Mosaic Laws using it to get something out of God's people, why not re-institute all of them? Let us go back to slaughtering lambs and killing rebellious children? Remember, he who fails in one point of the Mosaic Law, is guilty of it all!

Here is a question for you....Why is it that the wealthy and richest pastors of different denominations are considered to be the real men of God most especially here in Nigeria. G.O of churches like Coza, House on the rock, Winners, RCCG, Christ Embassy, Kicc, Salvation Ministry etc... Is it that riches and wealth is now a yardstick to measure those that are truly called by God? Because that's the mentality of Christians in Nigeria.

2. There is no any record in the bible about these great apostles of God possessing so much worldly material wealth, and yet they did greater things even than all these so called G.Os in Nigeria. Is the faith and service of these so called G.Os greater than that of these apostles in the bible for them to have acquired so much wealth to themselves all in the name of serving God.

Please don't bring that common bible verse"Do not judge" Jesus gave us permission to tell right from wrong. We are commanded to exercise righteous judgment (John 7:24), some of these false prophets act (their fruits) are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment.

Matthew 6:21 says "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" I guess that said it all

Why is that when there is critics from people regarding these money focused pastor/false prophets, the common words you hear some Christians says is "do not judge", "touch not his anointed" and some even use "THREAT WORDS " you better be careful what you say to god of man" Why do you think we can't make critics of these Pastors?

My Bible tells me not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

That's what religion has caused, creating the perception of "WE" and "THEM" very biases perception of reality. Who will really enter that"Kingdom of God" ? To the muslim perception and believe, you have to practice the 5 islam pillar of faith such as observing hourly prayers, giving zakat, going to hajj etc. And to the Christian SU brothers and sisters you have to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, and be a born again, and obey the 10 commandment. If that's the case who will really enter that "Kingdom of God" since every religion have their different requirement to HEAVEN. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery and follow the rule of right action which is "Do to other what you want them to do to you" or " Treat others the way you want to be treated" and the world will be a better place.
