Please are we to paste the passport photograph with gum or stapler to the application form? Replies will be appreciated. Regards. |
The fear of Egypt air is the beginning of wisdom. Same goes for Ethiopia air and Arik air. I can't begin to explain my ordeals. They misbehave and get away with it because we are in a country where anything goes. |
Thank God oooooo. For people who believe only in science can now decide where they want to spend live after death. May God help me make heaven. |
nevilbot: This forum gives me hope even though I av not gotten my visa, just funded my act on weds and waiting for d confirmation from d bank. I come here every hour to read updates and calm my nerves. Keep up d gud work ppleDid you fund your account before or after the interview? |
Congrats bro. Please can one attend the interview prior to funding the blocked account? omamofe: Visa collected today. I want to appreciate this forum, the contributors, the observers everybody. Grateful to the almighty God so I wouldn't be a great fool. I wish everyone success in their life endeavours and also to those yet to get visa, your testimonials are next. |
Happy new month all. May we record great testimonies in all our efforts this month in Jesus name. Is there anyone heading to Saarland university in the house? Regards. |

The Doctor died and his patient lived? Reward of greediness or ignorance? The ECOWAS guy should be detained for this wicked act. why are this ecowas people doing this nah? |
what are we doing about land boarders which are kinda porous? |
All roads lead to lagos. Its quiet a logistical issue but that's the way it stands for us abuja peeps. yemad: please is there anyone that has done their interveiw in abuja before? i want to know if i can apply for my interveiw in abuja instead of lagos. thanks for your response. |
60min? Did the questions vary from the usual we have seen on this thread? 60min is quiet long... afodam247: I had my interview today and its close to being true what they told you. |
XpensiveT: Thanks so much for d info. Are u also willing to enroll for MSc degree in germany? Can u pls give names of some schools u know much about their requirement? Can't wait to read ur response.I don't know the schools off hand. I googled the course of interest against German institutions, then checked for the ones that taught in english only as I wasn't ready to complicate "mine" issues with language requirements. DAAD website was also helpful as it has filters to streamline your interest(s). I think most top schools might want a good CGPA though but never say never. Get started and see how far you can go Would advice you apply to as many schools as you can. Some are online applications while others are by post. |
Welcome on board. During my search for an MSC, I dint come across such strict rules on CGPA. Though some schools may have high standard so check for your course of interest and the admission requirements. What do you want to specialise on? Still Biochemistry? Biochemistry now has babies. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular biology,Genetic Engineering, etc Studied Biochemistry at BSC level too. Cheers XpensiveT: Gud morning to u all in d house. Am new here nd I'll be glad if u can help with answers to my questions. |
@mudley313 I humbly seek your noble cooperation in keeping this thread helpful to folks who need it. Many testimonies have rolled out from here. No man is an island of knowledge and I personally appreciate the helpful tips I have gotten from here. Since you have safely arrived Hamburg, there are hundreds of Nigerians trying to sort out their onward journey to Germany,so pls be kind enough to let them receive the help they need where applicable. Big ups to everyone who has been of help so far Mudley313: I just arrived Hamburg...any naija attending university of hamburg can holla on here make we relate (i dey attend an international masters program) |
Thanks for the info. Bro, am a sis. Thank you. Eke40seven: Bro, I stand to be corrected but I have not read any post or heard anyone who complained that the failure to fund the account before the interview affected his/her chances of getting the visa. In fact, the trend here is for people to fund their account after the interview and when they have been notified by the embassy to fund the account in order to collect their visa. |
Someone should please provide useful information about blocked account and proof of finance as stated below. Abeg, make una gimme una 2kobo on this issue. graciousme: Congratulations to fellows who have been granted visas. Wishing you all-the-best. |
Congratulations to fellows who have been granted visas. Wishing you all-the-best. One quick question(s), did you fund your blocked account before or after the interview? If the account has not been funded before the interview, what effect does this have on the issuance of the visa? what proof of financial means would one take along if the account has not been funded befor the interview. |
ABUkAkA: I went to the Abuja Embassy today. I told them I want to open a block account. I gave them my filled form and the Lady returned with the formed stamped behind.....and she said I should go to Lagos.Go to Lagos? I think you can send the forms to the bank via dhl. meanwhile, scan the stamped page to use in booking for the interview. @Bethiano where art thou? how is preparation for the interview? have you received the bank details? |
@yapyap How long did it take you to get an interview date from the consulate? yapyap: Ok! I have applied for thr interview just worried that I have not receive the accouunt info! Correction noted! |
I am in abuja too. Am sure we will get useful information from our experienced ogas in the house. I called the abuja embassy yesterday and the lady on the other end of the line confirmed that student visa has to be Lagos. Have you started your blocked account opening process? ABUkAkA: Thanks @Futurewise11, @Eke40seven and @Nimakor.......I have decided to start my application process. I am Abuja based and the embassy here told me that I can only apply in Lagos. Please, can anyone tell me the procedure like the first thing to do. The German embassy website is not helpful........?? |
reecky: Student visa interview is usually lagos embassyThanks for the response. They replied and referred me to lagos. Regards. |
Hello House, Please I want to book for my visa interview appointment at abuja embassy. What documents do i send to the email provided? Does anyone have experience with Abuja embassy? |
This is serious. What could have been their aim? To steal Zmapp for their sick friends and relatives? To release ebola infected patients with the aim of spreading the disease? It seems to me that Liberian government is not making enough efforts to contain this disease. Now the armed men are at the risk of infection. If an educated man like Mr Patrick could not be stopped from spreading the disease, how would they track down the armed men? Oh Liberia!!! Please stop sharing this virus!!! |
Thanks for the replies to my inquiry about the blocked account. After the signature who will be responsible for sending it to the Bank? will they take the form from me or will i be the one to send it to the bank? DANNIEmore: Many thanks 9jaobi for the corrections. stay blessed! |
please what is the fastest and reliable means sending the signed blocked account forms to Germany and their prices? |
Thanks for the info. Very helpful. DANNIEmore: Print the DB account opening form (2sets) from the DB website, fill it and go to the embassy with your normal colored passport photogaphs(enof of it incase), international passport (plus your admission letter if you've got one or dnt worry if you've nt gotten admission yet) on a Monday morning b4 9am, tell them your for blocked account openning(Pls,dont sign on it till your @ d front of the VO @ d embassy as she wd then ask u to do so). Meanwhile, you can apply for your visa interview with the account opening confirmation slip you get from the embassy same day you file in your application so,while your account openning is being processed in Germany, you would've been done with your interview and then, the embassy would ask you to send them your account status after your interview.sure by this time, you should have received your account info from the DB where you would credit your 8040E into. |
Hello all, please i need information about the blocked accounts and how long it takes to open one as it seems that one can't apply for the student visa without the account opening confirmation. |
Hi all. Nice job and wishing us success. Has any one written for PhD yet? Anyone in the house writing in kwara? Cheers. |
