In all fairness, yes, Buhari cares about the sufferings of Nigerians and that's why he talks about it every day.

However, Buhari doesn't have good leadership skills, he didn't appoint the right people and he is too old to go and check some things himself. This is why having brain and brawn matters so much in leadership.

This has always been my issue with Buhari. He has zero knowledge of how to run an economy in a fast paced world today, it's not bad enough that he doesn't have the requisite knowledge, he went ahead and also appointed political lackeys that had no inkling of how to do their job instead of using proven technocrats like Obasanjo and GEJ. He opted to use people recommended by politicians as 'political settlement' for winning an election. He ended up putting square pegs in round holes and messed his administration up!

This is just the summary of it all. In the one passage Christ talked about tithe he didn't condemn it. He said that there are more important things/ characters to show as a righteousness man. He basically said you can tithe but remember that there are things way more important than tithe.
