Considering the Police's notoriety for squeezing out confessions by way of torture, we shouldn't take to heart the accused's alleged confessional statement...unless and until the accused person admits he made that statement voluntarily or the prosecution proves that confession was voluntary, that "confession" is worthless

In this case, the charge of "Culpable homicide" isn't specific enough to let us properly judge whether or not the judge had the authority to grant the accused bail...

I have appeared as counsel before Justice Gang at that particular court, and in my humble opinion, he is a gentleman who knows his onions, and most times even errs on the side of caution

Summary.....passing judgement on circumstances scantily and insufficiently reported in news media is a very grave misdirection...let's all pray that we don't become victims of sentimental reporting/ half-baked journalism.

I dont used to believe something like this before, but since the day i witnessed the one in barracks bus top in broad day light , in wich a young lady was seen inside a sealed gutter in 2014 along oju- elegba. Mind you, the gutter, if opened can swallow a full car, to tell you how deep, and you will see that the gutter is sealed left and right. Infact before you will see any near by opening left or right, it will be up to 1km stretched on each side. If you understand that place well, you will nearly get to alaka to see opening then, likewise on the other side, it will be around jibowu. I have passed there several times and have to restudy that place well, she wont even survive in that place for an hour due to heat and suffocation.

How she got in , only God knows, I was told that she confessed that se turned to bird ,saying she was on a mission to kill someone giving birth in lagos from , i think benue or so. And was later stuck inside without a single cloth on her. It took the intervention of the solders with their equipment to cut the bars open after several failed attempt. I told him outrightly that it was too small. He then said he will ask his boss so he can add something then he will get back to me tomorrow.

My question is how do I reject this job that I already accepted with a firm hand shake. And how do I suddenly park my bag and baggages out of the premises. I am so confused.
