You can say that again. Nobody believed that Abia State can be better under any other party than PDP, until the Alex Otti came.

Ifeanyi Ubah wants to challenge Soludo on the platform of the APC in the next guber poll, but it's already dead on arrival.

From the results of the last election, one can infer that the only party that can beat APGA in Anambra State now is LP!
For once, someone has been reasonable enough to admit that Apga is defeatable in Anambra State.

No Governor of Anambra State has fully Mobilized the State Resources” – Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah

By Ebuka Onyekwelu.

Anambra South senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has said that no governor of Anambra State has fully leveraged the State’s enormous human and material resources to grow and position Anambra State. Speaking in an exclusive conversation with The West African Pilot News, Senator Ubah regretted that Anambra is yet to have a focused leadership that is fully capable of using its resources to expand the frontiers of opportunities, public service, and growth for Anambra and the people of Anambra State.

According to Senator Ubah, “Since 1999, Anambra has not had a leader that knows what to do with what Anambra State has. The blessing God has given to Anambra State is something no governor of the state knows how to tap into and use well to serve our state and our people. No governor of Anambra State has fully mobilized the state resources, thereby leaving the state at a very poor level of growth,” Sen. Ubah regretted.

Ifeanyi Ubah who insisted that his comments are devoid of any kind of politicization whatsoever, emphasized that the benefits of having a governor who understands what to do with what the State has, both to the State and the people, can hardly be overstated. This is because, a leader, Ubah argued, has to first of all understand the strengths and gifts of the State, and know what to do with them, before he can fully deploy them to maximally profit the state and the people. “My brother, let’s have this conversation. I want our people to ask questions and seek clarification. Let’s have an issue-based conversation around the potentials of Anambra State and how far these potentials have been used by the State government to develop the state since 1999 to date,” Ubah declared.

APC Anambra is set to welcome Ubah,Ekwunife, and others on Saturday

The All Progressives Congress Anambra will, on 2nd December 2023, hold a warm reception to welcome Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah into the APC Anambra. Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah joined the APC on the 12th of October 2023. Since he joined the APC, the Anambra political landscape has been interesting.

It's worthy of note that Senator Ubah was the pillar of the Young Progressives Party, a party he took from near obscurity to national limelight by being the first Senator under its platform. Today, he is in the APC, a huge asset to the party, especially in the southeast.

Little wonder the APC family is excited and are braced up to give him a rousing welcome come this Saturday. The home coming is not just for Senator Ubah, as there will be other political bigwigs in the state joining him to this grand reception. One of those on the list is Senator Uche Ekwunife, the immediate past Senator that represented Anambra Central Senatorial District, and the Director General of South East governor's forum. Politics is all about reach, and the APC in Anambra, since Senator Ubah joined the party, has been encouraging with party faithful articulating how to move the party to greater heights.

This grand reception will be a mecca of sorts as most of Anambra's great sons and daughters who have seen the need for Anambra to be at the center piece of national politics will all be on ground to give honor to whom honor is due.

APC Anambra has indeed, by this event, succeeded in articulating diverse interests and has also aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration of Re Newed Hope, which is geared towards serving the Nigerian masses. Today is not a day to highlight the breakthroughs of the APC thus far. The truth remains that the party both at the state and national levels have done very well throughout the country, in states where they have a sitting governor, Ebonyi and Imo are good examples of what APC intends to do in Anambra in terms of infrastructural development and connecting to the center is paramount for such feats to be achieved.

As the APC welcomes Senator Ubah, Ekwunife, and others, it's high time Ndi Anambra fits into the national vision. It's high time Ndi Anambra understands that the party means well for the people, as black legs whose stock in trade is propaganda, can no longer shield the visible and proactive policies of the re newed hope administration. This is so because their intentions have been floored. It's expected that after this reception, the APC Anambra will be activated, and the dividends of democracy coming from the National will gradually permeate, and our people will also understand the need to connect to the centre.

PoliticsAnambra APC SeT To Welcome Sen. Ubah, Ekwunife & Others On Saturday by grassrootsig(op):
Anambra Political Tsunami Loading As APC Strengthens Position with New Members

Set To Officially Receive Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, Senator Dr Uche Ekwunife and Several Others This Saturday.

The Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Congress – APC has been the centre of attention to keen political observers for weeks. Since Senator Ifeanyi Ubah declared his interest to join the party, the fact is that the stake has remained high, forcing many to have a rethink. For the time being, it is obvious that APC is a major factor in the next Anambra State governorship election in about two years' time. Little wonder the last weeks have seen the ruling APGA and APC in the forefront of exchanges on serious governance issues in Anambra State. Yet, it is obvious that the APC is not done. Since Senator Ifeanyi Ubah declared his intention to join the party, it is no longer business as usual.

This weekend, the Anambra State APC is expected to receive new members into its fold in another major boost, which even positions the APC more, for a very focused and unrelenting push for Southeast alliance. Right now, APC is the majority party in the Southeast with two states under its control. APGA, PDP, and LP have one state each, while APC has two states. In simple terms, it is no longer correct to say that Southeast doesn’t like or won’t vote for APC. Ahead of the 2025 Anambra State governorship election, this will also be put to test. So far, the APC seems to be ahead in terms o f strategic planning and execution and these are consequential to the extent that sustained focus in that direction would place APC Anambra in the front of the race for the next Anambra governor.

A look at the configuration of the Anambra political landscape shows that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is already in a good position in the Anambra South zone, with a fair spread across other zones. In the North, some alliances and goodwill can easily put APC in a vantage position that will be difficult to dismantle. But for most people, the challenge is Anambra Central because of the conventional power rotation and, in which instance, Anambra Central is expected to produce the next governor o f the state in 2029. But again, with a strong support base and alliance in the Central, APC will have a good outing in that senatorial zone. This is part of why it matters that Senator Uche Ekwunife is joining APC this weekend. Senator Uche Ekwunife is a tried and tested politician with enormous goodwill. Senator Uche is grounded in the politics of Anambra Central and still enjoys massive support within the Anambra Central senatorial zone. With this development, the APC would have a good outing in Anambra Central. In fact, if the party is able to recruit more hands in Anambra Central, the party might as well go beyond doing well in the next governorship election to actually having a serious good outing. Already, there are good, young, and viable hands from the senatorial zone. Before now, they played opposition to Senator Uche Ekwunife. A joint force will definitely confer some serious advantage, and this is just impossible to deny.

Importantly, the Idemili axis of Anambra Central zone is known to be an opposition enclave. In the 2023 general election, Idemili North and South federal constituency fell to opposition. The state constituencies were divided between opposition and the ruling party. Historically, Idemili North and South local governments have some of the highest voting strength in the state, and they are opposition strongholds, particularly Idemili North LGA. Experienced politicians in Anambra Central senatorial zone know how to activate these structures and cause major damage for the opposition. These are part of what a skilled politician like Uche Ekwunife is bringing to the table for the APC.

When we take into cognizance that the governorship election in Anambra State, is still in two years time, and the APC is showing such unprecedented strength and courage and focus, it is something that points to the party’s readiness to a real shot at the Anambra State Government House.

However, one may choose to see the APC in Anambra State right now. It is a political reality that the convergence of people with serious and tested political value and goodwill can not be dismissed. Senator Uche Ekwunife, definitely, is one of the best new entrants into the APC, and her entry simply points to the party’s determination for a solemn contest.

Below is a compendium on the existence and activities of Acobarry charity foundation as presented To Obi Charles Onyekaba, Obidiugwu by Hon. Amobi Okonkwo (Anunuebe Nnewi). 👇🏽👇👇
Acobarry Charity Foundation: Five Years on and Counting

The Acobarry Charity Foundation was founded in 2018 by Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma, from Ndiakwu, Otolo Nnewi. At inception, the Foundation was inspired by an irresistible desire to serve; to contribute towards meeting certain community and individual needs. Five years on, the Foundation is still driven by a great zeal to serve, as a means of making our community a far better place, than it was.

Core Focus:

In line with this desire to serve, Acobarry Charity Foundation focuses on high impact community projects, capacity building among young people and others, education support and scholarships, and economic empowerment through seed capital for small business owners. These are basically the four cardinal pillars of the Foundation. For five years, Acobarry Foundation has made modest contributions in each of the four pillars of the Foundation, to better our society. The Foundation is determined to leave legacies that will stand the test of time.

What we have done and the Impact Made:

In 2018 when we commenced organized charity works, we built six units of modern toilets, for the students of St. Christopher Church, Ndiakwu, Otolo. Before then, the students were engaged in open defecation as their old toilet was since filled and no longer in use. This was a serious need for the students and we addressed this identified need. Same year, we donated the transformer given to the Foundation’s founder by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, to the Church and the school. This project is in line with the four pillars of our Foundation.

Since 2018, the Foundation has continued to spend about N1, 000, 000 to assist less fortunate members of our community here in Nnewi, to offset their medical bills. The idea behind this is that prosperity cannot be pursued at the expense of one’s health. Our intervention in this area is a means to an end.

Since 2018, we have at least N1, 000, 000 to offset tuition and other school charges on indigent primary and secondary school pupil. This is done across Nnewi, throughout the four quarters of the town.

This year, we have been focused in our education support and scholarship opportunity for graduate students, while still carrying on with the annual support and tuition for primary and secondary students. The Foundation gave a scholarship worth N1, 000, 000 to a graduate student to pursue his master degree in Nigerian university. We also gave an international scholarship to an indigene of Nnewi, to pursue her master degree in the United Kingdom.

Currently, the Acobarry Charity Foundation has a lot of projects either ongoing or soon to be completed projects. Only yesterday, the Foundation gave a motorcycle to an indigene of Nnewi to help ease the stress of running around for business and also save cost of transportation. In the next two months, plans have been concluded to commence a careful financial empowerment of petty business owners across Nnewi.

Today, we have come to commensurate with you over the death of your dear mother. We have also come to present this gift of motorcycle to aid with all the running around for the burial and other works in the palace. May the soul of your dear mother find eternal rest in the Lord’s bosom, Amen.

Your Highness, we are also here to seek your association with the work we are doing at Acobarry Charity Foundation, as our patron.

Thank you Your Highness.
We are honoured to be received warmly in your palace.

In response, Obidiugwu appreciates Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma (CEO, Acobarry charity foundation) for his kind gestures and pledges his unalloyed support with the good people of Nnewichi towards the good deeds and humanitarian service of Acobarry charity foundation. Further in his remarks he unequivocally confirmed Acobarry charity foundation as one of the best foundation with Human face in Nnewi and prayed that God will continue to bless and strengthen him in his humanitarian work.

PoliticsIfeanyi Ubah's Move To APC: A Step Towards Inclusive Governance For Igbo Nation by grassrootsig(op): 11:58am On Nov 06, 2023
Ifeanyi Ubah's Move to APC: A Step Towards Inclusive Governance for the Igbo People

By Barr. Ugo Ilechukwu

Introduction:
Since the end of the civil war, the Igbos have faced marginalization in the centre of government, especially following the civilian administration's takeover in 1999. Despite their unwavering support for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), the Igbos received little in return for their loyalty. This perceived exclusion from governance has left the Igbos yearning for a chance to be actively involved in shaping Nigeria's future. In this regard, Ifeanyi Ubah's entrance into the All Progressives Congress (APC) signifies a potential opportunity to achieve this desired inclusion and bring good governance to our state, Anambra.

The Marginalization of the Igbos:

It is undeniable that the Igbos have been systematically marginalized in Nigerian politics. Since the civilian government came into power in 1999, the PDP, which the Igbos strongly supported, failed to prioritize the inclusion and representation of Igbo interests at the national level. This absence of Igbos in the APC, which eventually wrestled power from the PDP, further deepened the sentiment of exclusion from governance among our people.

The Quest for Integration:

Historically, prominent Igbo leaders like Ojukwu and Ekwueme attempted to integrate the Igbos into the mainstream of Nigerian affairs. However, since their tenure ended, no leaders have emerged to champion the cause of the Igbo people. This is why Ifeanyi Ubah's move to align with the APC should be seen as a significant step towards reintegrating the Igbos into the Nigerian political landscape.

The Importance of Ifeanyi Ubah's Entrance to APC:

Ifeanyi Ubah's decision to join the APC has been widely acknowledged by key members of the party, highlighting the potential for increased relevance and political influence for the Igbos. By aligning with a party that holds a majority at the federal level, Ifeanyi Ubah seeks to leverage the APC's power to ensure that the Igbo people are no longer left out of governance decisions that affect our lives.

Jettisoning APGA for APC:

At this critical stage in our quest for inclusive governance, it is essential to jettison the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party that has failed to bring significant benefits to the Igbo people. Nepotism and enrichment of individuals within the corridors of power characterize APGA's reign, further exacerbating our marginalization.

Aligning with the APC presents an opportunity to advocate for our interests and enjoy the favour of the federal government.

Conclusion:
Supporting Ifeanyi Ubah's quest to align with the APC presents an opportunity for the Igbo people to regain relevance and participate actively in Nigeria's governance. By abandoning APGA, which has not delivered on its promises, the Igbos can forge a new path towards true inclusion and representation. Let us embrace this chance to advocate for the interests of Anambra people and work towards a Nigeria where the Igbos are not only heard but also crucial players in shaping the future of our nation.

Barr. Ugo Ilechukwuis is an Anambrarian who is committed to enthroning good governance in Anambra and promoting igbo interest in Nigeria.

2025 governorship election in Anambra state, another challenge for Sen Ifeanyi Ubah.

In 2019, he won senate with an unknown party, YPP. The nay sayers said he won because ndi Anambra south were tired and no longer want the Uba family from Uga.

They claimed that Senator Andy Uba who was the APC candidate and his brother Chris Uba who was the candidate of PDP were unelectable and bad products.

When asked about Evang Nicholas Ukachukwu who was the candidate of APGA in 2019, they claimed that he was not serious in that election.

So in 2023, the opposition prepared well against a man whose Grace is Special and his capacity unmatched.

They said it was only Hon Chris Emeka Azubogu who can stop Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. They boasted that with Azubogu in the ticket, he would defeat Ifeanyi Ubah in Nnewi. Win him in Nnewi south, Ihiala, Aguata and Ekwusigo.

They wrote the Prince of the Senate off. They erroneously ascribed Mr Project to Azubogu just to deceive the uninformed.

As a political strategist, Ifeanyi Ubah kept his cool. He mapped out his strategies calmly and on February 25, the enemies bowed.

He did not only win, he produced House of Reps and state assembly members.

APC saw this overwhelming capacity and came to loan him from YPP in order to make impact in Anambra in 2025.

2025 governorship election in Anambra state will be another challenge but Ikemba Ndigbo will triumph.

Those who have the eye to read the hand writing on the wall and already realigning.

Ifeanyi Ubah will win in 2025.
Join others to realign now.

This incident was probably carried out by insider miscreants who took advantage of a now resolved minor disagreement due to an attempt from some quarters to meddle into the smooth operations of the Nnewi Security apparatus

Our investigations into the incident using the CCTV cameras deployed around the scene of the incident has led to some arrests as well as some worrisome posers which we will allow the police already handling the matter to thoroughly investigate and unravel

Kindly watch the attached video and see how the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Camera installed along CC Martins Junction, Umudim Nnewi exposed the visuals of how Nnewi Business Mogul, Chief CC Martins was kidnapped on Thursday October 12, 2023 at his petrol station. The Ultra High Definition Camera also clearly exposed how his entrance was monitored by a suspected informant as well as an okada rider seen calmly monitoring events at the scene while the incident was ongoing

Let this serve as a stern warning to every criminal that intends to operate in Nnewi. The community is under a strong security network, and the CCTV installations, which are equipped Ultra High Definition (UHD), display technology, are active 24/7 to capture every detail in various locations of the town.

Note that the CCTV installations around Nnewi was sponsored by the Senator representing Anambra South, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, CON in line with his vision of supporting security of life and property in Nnewi and other parts of Anambra South Senatorial District, and he remains committed to do more. Also, note that the project has the full support and blessings of igwe Nnewi, Ndi Obi na ato and Ndi Nnewi in General.

Note also that the minor disagreement has been resolved, and we must use this opportunity to warn that matters that have to do with the security of lives and properties should never be politicised

If you are a criminal, avoid Nnewi, or you will be exposed, disgraced, and treated in the language you understand. It is also important to note that the suspects have been arrested and investigation currently ongoing.

A word is enough for the wise!

What manner of desperation and iberiberism is this? If u must justify ur pay use something else to describe ur pay master. You can equate your pay master with mbadinuju. Don't ever make the mistake of putting ifeanyi Uba and Dim odimegwu ojukwu in the same sentence
Hahahaha. Please wake up to reality.
