This was exactly the way someone stole the side mirror on a brand new Toyota Corolla (bank type) I was driving in 2006.

It cost me 400Naira (Which was a lot of money then) to replace at the time.
400naira??
Phones › Re: How Is Network Data Speed In Your Area? by GreaterFuture(m): 10:34am On May 24, 2023
dustmalik:
To do a speed test, you need to query a server, which returns the speed of your connection. Google servers are mostly located in The Americas, Europe and Asia, these locations are thousands of miles from Nigeria. Naturally, this results in high pings and the results inaccurate.

However, Speedtest.net app and its website give you a list of publicly available local servers, especially from service providers, from which you can choose and test your internet speed, this gives you lower pings since the servers are just a few kilometers away, it reduces the round trip time and in turn, a more accurate speed.
Ok. Noted.
Are you a Networks Engineer or into networking technologies in any way?

Anything make me komot this mtn sim from my phone na to just break am troway.

4g works only 10℅ of the time. Cannot do shishi with it. Even the 3g I bring it down to requires me to constantly turn on and off data otherwise it would be useless too
So which one is better in your area??
Phones › Re: How Is Network Data Speed In Your Area? by GreaterFuture(m): 9:25pm On May 23, 2023
dustmalik:
Google native speedtester can't be accurate since the servers are probably thousands of miles away. Speedtest.net app or its website gives the most accurate results given that you can select local servers.
That part of Google not being accurate, it's not clear
Explain better plss

Then up your budget and go to the island, mainland is mainly filled with touts. Rather live on rent in a serene environment then be a landlord in a place you can’t be safe.
This is a very Ignorant, ignorant statement.

Also The fact that I specifically said "this so so and so is my budget" and you are saying "up my Budget", is messed up

Romance › Re: Best Bank To Get Credit Facilities, For Those With High Turnover account by GreaterFuture(op):
Dogalmighty17:
Every bank in Nigeria will give you credit facility based on that turn over. I'm surprised non has asked you yet. However and whatever you do, take your time and scrutinize every damn thing they tell you and every document they present to you. It is not collecting the loan that might be a problem. It is servicing it.

But if you have such volume of money passing through your account, why are you looking for a loan and why should nairaland be where you are posting this inquiry?
It's not passing yet
I'm trying to choose which bank account it should pass through, then use that

If money is passing through you, by virtue of what you may be doing at that point in time, based on your unique responsibility in the supply chain, it doesn't mean it's yours... You get it now?
So I want to make sure I use that opportunity well, use the right bank account, and when it's over, I can atleast have that financial Benefit which is a very great asset, on my account...

Monkey village is an island located around apapa but the thing is due to its location there is no electricity there. But it's very calm and cool with lots of beautiful girls and water fronts too.
I don't care about beautiful girls. Maybe the less the beautiful girls, the better even...
Calm place, with amenities and Services
Enough shops and all, normal prices. Easy Access to allover Lagos etc.

That electricity you mentioned, that may be the only negating Factor

What you are looking for is a room-selfcon and if you are to get such here on Lagos the area determines the price some places go as high as 1million while some go for 150k, for example if you go to monkey village you can get it at 100k sef, but around ajegunle nothing less than 250k and it's not easy to get, agents go use you shine first like se you come to marry him daughter.
Thanks for yr feedback, where is monkey village? Are there relatively calm cool places there, where one can live peacefully

That's not what I said, except maybe I don't understand the map of Lagos well... Ojo is far off main Lagos
Iyanapaja, Ipaja, are not high brow, but are okay, they are in main Lagos, close to the centre.
Ilupeju and many more parts like that. If I see, good.
It can be a lower area, but not a slum.
