Right...

ba7man:
In the Police force, the higher the rank, the more civil their behaviour.

Not necessarily! Not true at all

Maybe the one he met was okay.. nothing spectacular sef tbh, that's a whole commissioner for crying at loud

I've met AIG wey no sound, just there... and when you want to say something, though very respectfully, to highlight there is error in is Judgement, he sparks! His very Fragile ego is Wounded
Not one AIG, but two , 2 personally that I know of personally
More senior to this CP rank OP is talking about

ublight:
This man spoke like an educated person. I have never imagined a police officer could be that good (no thanks to nollywood and social media rants).

With this statement, That Shows you an Illiterate then, konk one (no disrespect at all)

It generally comes with time and experience in the force, nothing too special.

Do you have any hint of the Day in day out Police work??!
A person who joined as a graduate for that matter...?
No matter how bad it is, one will be like that & have that level of "wisdom" at that rank and level.

Those that Come in via the superintendent cadre are obviously 'smarter'

There was a boy of ours who grew up in the UK and had the bad traits of disobedience. His dad lured him to Nigeria to come have a good taste of culture.

The moment he landed at MMIA, he was whisked to a remote village where his dad gave him a daily dosage of strokes of cane. At first he proved resistant, later he cooperated.

In the long run, he feigned remorse but was secretly taking shots of the wounds he sustained. After sometimes, his dad seeing his calmness, decided that he had learnt his lessons and it was time to go back to the USA.

Believe me, when they got to the UK, the boy tendered all evidences to the security agencies. How the dad escaped prison sentence and deportation is what I didn't know.

When did this happen? What year or period??
How long was he in Nigeria

(Some things don't add up, no disrespect, a honest reaction)

Roger3D:
Yes I observed that the Naira gained about N18 Naira on the Euro today. It was N920.18 this morning but now it's N902.52 at closing. Let's hope for the best

Good day boss.
Bit of a late Quote here, but I believe that Gives opportunities right... But how does one Roundtrip this to make money, if you many chip in?

Also how often does this happen every day, if it's something you follow daily

You were on to something, but many parts were not worded right.
A few parts worded well... most parts not worded properly at all

nani667:
Will be refunded

Ok. I wait for that

Pls why was $1 debited, all because I added a card?
Or will it be given to me or Credited Back?

Broskyjames:
lol I'm trying to move my funds from this wallet cuz I cant basically fund my dollar card for days now and look at the nonsense they are telling me. The "Your funds are safe" part is so corny . Me thinking these Fintechs can actually replace and do a better job than our traditional banks is the is total foolery. They are all the same, it's either one absurd abnormality or hidden charges. They solve one problem and create 10 more. I can't wait for our traditional bank cards to work on International platform like before, so i can gladly uninstall all these apps.

Which app/bank is that?

The Bible said "a good name is better than useless riches." Femi Adeshina loved the riches hence shamelessly defended a failure and catastrophe, even lying brazenly and insulting people more godly than him. He is a cursed soul damned by the inordinate desires for filthy lucre.

But I wanna check something with you... If you can help me understand this

Femi A. was already doing very very well, he was far far off from the average Nigerian
Why defend and defend a ruthless administration , trying to "die there" when it's not as if he will be hungry or even broke, should he stop the Job.

Sending your kinds to Caleb in the early to mid 2000's is Rich, like rich rich, not even upper middle class, but Rich

Why do we see this same pattern with some under boys of the Tier one political class?
I don't understand this kind of Greed

Ogun go kee those foolish mods for this Nairaland.

Why? What happen?

lecowas:
Yeah, methinks it's possible, however it should be done by a professional.

I'm of the opinion that there will soon be a time when everyone will generate their power just like everyone has their own water supply now. Gone are the days when we have to wait every 3 days for water cooperation.

Yes it will be done by a professional, absolutely. Many guys in Alaba are very expert at this.

But let me say this, it's not that advanced. Any body with an average science background, basic enough, fairly read or even passed through some sort of stem undergraduate course can easily do this on his own, if he/she really wants to.
In this high information age! Where people who don't even use the internet like that understood what I was trying to do when I explained to them, how much more we younger people that use the internet.. this is peanuts.
But it will done by a professional nonetheless.

talk2hb1:
Planning to float this business too, still ordering machineries small small

Okk. Business is another angle entirely.
We are talking packaging, branding, thorough Testing etc..

But the convo here is , using it at home, and it delivering. because after Briefly analysing it, i could see that it's not Just Feasible, but can be done at a much much affordable price.

GreaterFuture:
It occurred to me very recently that, one could make a fairly large Powerbank with all materials readily available here in Nigeria (Lagos).
This came to my mind as somethings took me to Alaba few days ago.

One could make his own fairly small or Large "Powerbank", that can charge and power phones, laptops and day to day appliances used in the home. And it would work Perfectly well! ... that's the key point. It would not be inferior in Quality, nor long term durability, compared to major names. This is actually very, very Feasible

This, as you and I can see,,, would sizeably cushion the Power/electricity issue that most of us face.

How come I Have not really come across this Online? I would expect that something like this would be somewhere talked about Atleast a few times get on NL, or Twitter.
I remember one Ceejay then from way way back... as far back as 10yrs ago, creating a small inverter then.. that's it
