nwachinemelu: Bikonu I can't see any ASUU news on my channelstv...Weekend Sunrise |
Prof Abiola Awosika- a promise is a promise, the govt should put themselves in a position where they can be trusted. |
Peter Esele- once you meet the president on an issue, it's easier to get things done. |
It's one thing for them to call off the strike, it's another thing to start academic work after calling off the strike. I just hope they will fear God and do the needful. |
This is serious o! How can a woman(wife) not be in good term with ANY of her hubby's family, not even one That woman's charater must really be questionable. What about any of the man's friends? Nevertheless, my own suggestion is for her to go through it legally and lawfully. Another crazy method is to declare them, both husband and kids missing, if she has their pictures, she can go to the media houses like TV and newspaper and declare them missing with their pictures on display. Im sure someone will surface to claim thay aint missing, and she can take it over from there. May God help them o. |
The fact is that you can never know the true nature(character) of a person before he attain wealth, power and influence. Oshiomole now have all these, hence, his true character are obvious to the world. Well, he has apologized, but i believe it was because the citizens made a lot of noise about it, i'm sure that he wouldn't if not for what he has been reading and hearing from the media. I have always been saying it, we are yet to have good and passionate people at the edge of power in this country, they are all there because of their selfish interest. That he was even a labour activist does not guarantee that he's a better opponent. He was only active then so that he could be accepted by the populace and he actually achieved that. Or do you think he could be voted for, if he was not active in the labour then, but the truth is that he knew what he was doing. He dined with them then and he's still dinning with them now. |
@op, is it the pastor that will live with the person till death do them part. Smh |
Godmouth: Sometimes God would not speak to a person until they have put it forward to their shepherd/pastor.I dont agree with you on this, but seeing your username, i wont say anything, because i know that you too wont agree with me. |
bionicdude: i don't know why with all dis powers they have they can't even make their lives better, see how dry he is like a starving kid in somalia.what do you expect from evil/black power ![]() |

A man believed to be in his 70s, who claimed to.be a wizard, was on Wednesday found on the banks of the Okrudu River at Kaimebre, a settlement near the Kasoa New Market in the Central Region Ghana. The man, who gave his name as Charles Atta, looked frail, pale and bore protruding breasts like that of a teenage girl. His body was smeared with mud from the bank of the river where he was found by two brothers, Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng, who claimed they found the strange man crying for help. The two brothers told Daily Guide reporters that the self-acclaimed wizard confessed to them that he was in the company of colleagues, including a medical doctor and were flying to Cape Coast for a meeting when he was forced down. According to him, they were flying over a church where an all-night vigil was being held when he crash- landed at Servant Kings International School. "When we as ked him where he was coming from, Atta told us that he was from Akuapem Akropong but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting for witches and wizards," he said. Charles also confessed that the two puffy protrusions on his chest were breasts taken from his 16-year- old granddaughter and that he normally borrowed them for his night activities. The two brothers said they were initially confused and bewildered by the weird sight of the man, and not knowing what to do him took him to Pink FM, a local radio station at Kasoa for help. When the strange announcement was made on radio, hundreds of people besieged the premises of the radio station to see the suspected wizard. Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police dispatched a number of police personnel to the station to save the victim from being lynched. Superintendent Samuel Tabril Punobyin told the paper that the police did not investigate spiritual matters and that the suspected wiz-ard could therefore not be charged. He said the police would look for the family erf the man and hand him over to them. Charles Atta is still in the custody .of the Kasoa Police. http://m.naij.com/news/53157.html?short

Danhumprey: Na today? E don tey! We don hear am time and again,so tey our ears have now gotten used to it!All or most of the developed countries in the world started like this and one of the things that helped and is helping them is positive comments about the country, for example, when an american wakes up, the first confession to hear from him is "God bless America" How many of us Nigerians do the same, instead, what we're used to is always making negative comments against the country and presenting hopeless image for our youths, thereby making our tomorrow leaders to believe that all is not and can never be well with this country again. Such attitude is not fair and we really need t change. Im not saying our political and religious leaders are saints or blameless, but what about we the followers? May God help us all. |
abdurrazaq: So I have heard. All I want is an end to this forced marriage termed Nigeria to give way for smaller but, united Countries.united we stand divided we fall! Nigeria aint dividing. Division is not the problem to our problem in Nigeria. |
albacete: Amen. This is what we exactly need and not that Arsenal will/will not lift d trophy.you are very right. We need prayer as well as very much action, without which nothing can be achieved. |
These pastors and Imams will talk about "Nigeria will be great" and "You will be blessed this year" yet murderers and thieves will come for their church service and they get front seat cos of what they can get. These religious leaders don't talk to/about corrupt leaders, all they wanna do is recognise their presence so they can get more members to extort.
please, dont generalise, those who are saying the truth are saying it, they may not be many, but the few ones who are actually called by God and not their pockets do speak the truth, no matter how it hurts. Not every pastor or man of God is like Oritsajafor please. No generalisation. Thank you. |
We have gotten prophecies like these since before I was born and did it change anything? We go to church and pray for our country and yet we keep going backwards yet countries who are less religious are developing faster. Let them prophesy till next year and pray till 2020, as long as the churches, Mosques, shrines etc keep harboring thieves and praying for thieving politicians, we WILL not go forward.......
ok, between this prophesy and the prophesies of doom we are used to hearing, which one do you prefer? I agree that prayer alone without action cannot do anything, especially when religious houses are hypocritical about it, but do we still because of that continue cursing or making negative comments about our dear nation? It takes me, you and every other person to act in the issue of this country, but we have to start somewhere, let the clerics play their roles, the congregations too and then the message may get to out politicians. May God help us all. |
This is the type of prophecy i like about Nigeria, the type that raises our hope that Nigeria will still be great again and better than this, not prophesies like plane crash to happen, tragedy in president's family, some governors are going to die before 2015, ASUU will call off strike in 2017, etc. We need prophesies that will increase our hope and not otherwise. May God bless our country. |
mayorall: Shame to state universities who are on strike. FG dont even know they exist.sincerely, i dont know why the state universities joined the strike, maybe by now, they would realise that they aint recognised by the FG. If they have any issue to settle at all, i think it should be with their respective state government, not doing "follow-follow" alongside with the federal universities. Now if the federal universities are finally settled by the FG, what will be the lot of the state universities ![]() |
The General Overseer of the Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet Samuel Abiara, has urged Nigerians to stop making negative comments about the country, saying the challenges Nigeria faces are not new. Abiara said instead, Nigerians should adopt an attitude of prayer and hope that things would be better. The cleric spoke at the 28th anniversary of the church at the CAC Zonal Headquarters in Lagos, a statement said on Wednesday. He said,"People should stop saying negative things about Nigeria. The challenges facing the country are not new. "Most developed and civilised countries in the world today have gone through terrible times which they overcame. "Nigeria will become great some day and one of the best countries in the nearest future because all challenges will become history. "Let us continue to pray for our leaders instead of criticising them. The Bible says we must pray for our leaders so that God will direct and cause them to make right policies in the interest of the masses." He also called on the government to pay more attention to the less privileged in the society and empower the youth to be productive and responsible citizens of the country.
