FamilyRe: Boarding School Or Day School, Which Would You Recommend For Your Kids And Why? by greatgod2012(f): 8:09pm On Nov 23, 2013
It depends on the situation on ground.
If the parents are available and are not the very busy type, even, if it is one of them, then, i will go for day school. But if on the other hand, both parents are "ajala travel all over the world" type or the mother is no more, and dad feels there is little he can do, then boarding school is advisable.
Talking from experience, recently, i lost my sister-in-law(my brother's wife) and since my brother could not take care of the little kids she left behind all alone, he resorted to putting them in boading school, which i embraced in totality.
So, it depends, my prayer is that, no matter the one we choose, may our kids turn out well and good. Amen.

It amazes me the way many people now talk about suicide anytime there is a little problem or any form of inadequacy in their lives There has never been a very smooth way for anyone, at one point or the other, people pass through one problem or the other, and when the going gets tough, it's only the tough that gets going, if everyone takes to suicide as rampant these days, i doubt if there will be anyone remaining on the surface of this earth. I just dont like it when people threaten to commit suicide. So, op, stop it, everybdy has his or her own share of the problems of life, that is what makes life interesting and long, dont ever think you're the only one that has problem, everyone has, it may not be the same, but believe me, no one has it all smooth.

My suggestion on what you think your problem is, even though, to me, it's not a problem, but since you have accepted it as a problem, the simple solution that occurs to me now is to get glued to you dictionary, if you dont mind, support it with brighter grammar, Part 1-4, then be consistent in your practise. As for reading to understand, ensure you dont miss classes when lectures are going on, when you are studying and you remember the explaination given by the lecturer on a particular topic, it would be easy for you to mix/join the two together to make a meaningful reading and understanding. Also, ensure you don't sleep until you have gone over what you did for the day, with that, it won't take long before assimilating.
May God help you.

Reptyle: But gas is actually a relatively cheaper, cost effective, safer and cleaner way of cooking.

A lot of people like you view gas as "made for rich people." A few years ago, I got an elderly aunt of mine a gift of a table top gas cooker and a cylinder of gas after I noticed her unending complaint about the challenges with procuring kerosene. She has never stopped thanking me for "opening her eyes" to gas since then grin
dont get me wrong dear, im not saying gas cooking is not better, even myself, i cant remember the last time i touch kerosene, but that does not mean everyone can afford it. You got your aunty a table top cooker and a cylinder, what if there is no person like you who can do it for her, won't she be using her kerosine? What im saying is that for the sake of those who would like to use gas but could not afford it, the price of kerosene need to be subsidized. Thank you.

Ediss: Cooking Gas is better and less expensive. Go for gold smiley wink
my brother, not everyone can afford the initial cost of gas cooking, let's learn to be considerate of others. That price is too high.
BusinessRe: Kerosene Now N150 Per-Litre In Lagos by greatgod2012(f): 10:20am On Nov 23, 2013
Promhize: Why should anyone still be using kerosene, when there's gas which is cheaper and better. Nawa for una o, some people have started crying already, kerosene is not even good for the environment cos of the smoke, go get gas.
gas is cheaper when bought in large quantity. While some people still buy a bottle of kerosene for their daily use, can one bttle of gas be bought. Do you think it is everybody that can afford the initial cost of buying cylinder and gas cooker. How much do you think they are selling a stove, it's less that 1500 naira, yet, some cant still afford it, can someone who cant afford to buy stove afford to buy cylinder and gas cooker.
Believe me, so many people still use it and that is because there are still so many poor people in our country, and being poor is not a crime, therefore, they also need to be considered.
May God help us all.

is it everybody that can afford gashuh
Let's learn to consider others, especially the less privilege ones .
BusinessRe: Kerosene Now N150 Per-Litre In Lagos by greatgod2012(f):
Sincerely, it is only God who can intervene in this nation's issue, can you imaginehuh Kerosene sold @150 naira per litre, that is the only thing that is left for the poor, and yet, not affordable, the rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer, how can someone who earns less than one dollar per day afford to buy and use kerosene that is sold for 150 naira per litre, this is not fair o.
I think the government need to subsidize the price, so that the less privilege ones among us can boast of benefiting something from the government.

This is another dimension, he want to go to court in order to stop the reckless drivers, especially politicians' convoys who do not have respect for other road users when they are on the road, and i'm fully in support. You need to see how these convoys scare people away from the road whenever they're on the road. Sanity need to be restored on our road, in order to stop all this wasting of innocent lives on the road.

THE POWER OF "WE" IN MARRIAGE

1. The most selfish one-letter word is"I". Avoid it, no man is an "I"land.

2. The most satisfying two letter word is ""WE". Use it always, it unifies you and your spouse.

3. The most poisonous three-letter word is "EGO. Delete it, no one can "go" it alone in a team. One person has never and will never make an "i"land. Besides, there has never been one man team. In a marriage, it just does not exist.
4. The most used four-letter word is "LOVE. Value it and mean it because it is the belt binding ingredient for you and your spouse. Don't change and start loking down on love. That's suppose to be why you got married in the first place.
5. The most pleasing five-letter word is "SMILE. Keep and show it, afterall, you were together for some time before getting married and i guess you were used to making each other not just smile but laugh as well. So, how come you're now pretending you don't remember the fun times you used to have together. Go on, give a smile and a hug!

6. The fastest spreading six-letter words are " RUMOUR" and "GOSSIP". Do not allow them in your marriage. Kill them before they kill both of you.

7. The hardest working seven-letter word is "SUCCESS". Achieve it in your marriage. Continously work the vision you both have for your lives together and don't give up. Who said the journey is without obstacles?

8. The most divisive eight-letter word is "JEALOUSY". Kill and delete it before it breaks and kills you both.

9. The most powerful nine-letter word is "KNOWLEDGE". Acquire it, especially true knowledge of who your spouse is.

10. The most essential ten-letter word is "CONFIDENCE". Believe it, without this, both of you can't face any challenges.

OJODEL10: ABOUT TO FACE MY INLAWS, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY, I'M SCARE OF MEETING A LONG TIME BOSS WHICH TURNS OUT TO BECOME MY INLAW,
your in-law to-be or your long time in-law?

If it's your long time in-law, why are you afraid to meet them again, afterall, you've been meeting ne another before.

If your in-law to-be, you know he's your long time boss before you propose to his daughter, and i believe he knows you're dating his daughter, if he didn't oppose it all these while, i doubt if he's going to oppose it when you go meet him. There's nothing to do than being yourself, carry yourself well and be confident with yourself. Answer any question directed to you boldly and confidently. Be realistic. Dont promise them what you know you cant afford to do to his daughter, dont sound arrogant and dont be disrespectful to him, let that virtue he has seen in you be revealed right there and then.

Hope this helps.
May God help you.

RomanceRe: Is It Okay For An Only Child Not To Get Married? by greatgod2012(f): 8:03pm On Nov 22, 2013
Whether only male or even only child, it's his life, his choice!
No one should force anyone to do what he doesn't want to do, the last time i checked, marriage is yet to be made compulsory, the most important thing to each and every one of us depends on the individual involved.
However, not getting married does not mean that the person can not have kids.
It is well!

EducationWe Are Going To Court For Iyayi -Falana by greatgod2012(op): 5:03pm On Nov 22, 2013
Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), yesterday, vowed to pursue the circumstances surrounding the death of the President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Professor Festus Iyayi in court.
He disclosed this while addressing journalists over Iyayi's death. Iyayi died in a road accident on Okene -Lokoja Road when the convoy of Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada rammed into his car.
He was on his way to Kano for a National Executive Council meeting of ASUU when the accident occurred.
Falana, who noted that the death of the late don is a "personal loss," said the leadership of ASUU and the family of the deceased have given him the mandated to pursue the matter in court.
According to him, the case will serve as a deterrent to other road users who are in the habit of harassing other road users through reckless driving and use of sirens.
He also stated that other political office holders should take a cue from Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Faashola who moves about without a siren despite his busy schedules and the chaotic situation of traffic in the city of Lagos.
