😆 abi now..thank you so much maam for the insight. Zahra29: Lol @ the bolded.
This is the best time to travel with your children. Your 3 year old isn't in compulsory education yet so they are much more relaxed about school absences - you just need to inform the nursery/preschool that you will be away.
When your child starts compulsory education (reception) after their 4th birthday (in England), then you won't be allowed to take her on holiday during term time. |

Thewritingnerd: What other ways are there to pass vital information, pray tell? I mean, that’s what social media platforms are for, I believe. Someone here posted about CV library and that immensely changed everything for me with my job search. That person chose to use text format to pass that info here on Nairaland.
Another person could have chosen to set up ring light and open YouTube channel to pass same info, and there’ll be absolutely nothing wrong with it.
So I ask, is it the method of passing the information you don’t like, or that you don’t want too many people knowing about a useful information that’ll help them? 🤔
Also, what is wrong with a travel agent or a student advising people about how to apply for jobs? It is well..May God help us all |

Thewritingnerd: When you say “cast this update” you mean you don’t want your other country people to have access to this useful information that could also help them? Dear sis, you know there are other ways to pass vital information other than carrying ring lights and opening channels. How can a travel agent or a student be advising people on how to apply for nhs jobs. |

Schoolhike: Yes, they should be able to sponsor because both (occupational therapists and physiotherapist are both on health care shortage occupation list), but I got an info from a friend that some now require you to work say like 3 months first. And note sponsorship will likely to towards the end of your current visa.
I can relate to your apprehension about the stress and expenses of traveling, but I do believe that going for interview is also an experience on its own.
Wish you success in your upcoming interview. Hi boss..Thanks for your words of encouragement..I went for the interview, did very well, was selected and I ve gotten my cos. |

Atunrayo: If you choose to pay with naira, you can use a visa card but the transaction will not go through. I even emailed convera to confirm.
So the next action was to pick a different currency either Euro, GBP or USD. I picked USD because I had some USD in my account.
But if you pick it, it will prompt you to generate an instruction that you can either print and take to your bank or you can make the transfer from your mobile or online banking yourself.
I decided to go to the bank because I didn't wanna hear stories.
However, at the bank they'll tell you that since you're making a transfer, you can only transfer the money that was transfered in.
So when buying any foreign currency, tell the buyer to transfer to your account.
DO NOT DEPOSIT! If you deposit, they will not be able to do the transaction because according to CBN inflow can only be transferred. Deposit can not be transfered. Unless you transfer the money to another person using the same account after you deposit and then you transfer back. Just save yourself the stress and make sure the money is transferred in from the beginning.
Convera got back to me within a day that they had processed the transaction. However, my school is yet to get back to me - they said confirmation takes days.
But if you get the success email, then you can be sure that they'll see your cash. But won't it still be like black market rate |
