Besides, owerri-portharcourt road dualization is also part of the achievements. The project was started in 2011 and ended in 2013 by ARAB CONTRACTORS. |

Politics › Re: Obasanjo To Jonathan: ‘Keep Your Reply, Save Nigeria!’ by Greatihex(m): 9:17pm On Dec 15, 2013 |
babyface333: Obasanjo ran to kenya were GEJ was invited for their independence to meet our president. He is utterly shocked that GEJ didnt even mention anything or the contents of the letter to him there. I guess OBJ was thinking GEJ would begin to ask him, caution or even start to curry favour from him. Obasanjo is trying to use such a weighty letter to whip GEJ in line so as to play his godfather role again and reckon to relevance. He is still shocked that GEJ called his bluff in kenya, just had dinner with him and everyone left.
Gej's silence in the midst of all this provocations from these bitter politicians is a thing of concern to them. They dont know what he has in the offing. If it was obasanjo that was been accussed of all these atrocities, heads would have rolled by now. If OBJ can reply ordinary edris abdukareem on his famous song "nigeria jaga jaga" and say na him papa and mama jaga jaga, then we can imagine other oppositions. This same OBJ destroyed the opposition, took in some of them like late bola ige, today were is bola ige.
I love GEJ for one thing. His silence is uncommon in the midst of all this provocations. His silence has earned him the name clueless and retardeen. For sure, who ever tutored GEJ in this roughshod called nigeria politics is the best.

ayd91: All this pessimistic comments about Nigeria and how all staying here are doomed to fail really got me depressed. What right do you have to destroy the little faith and confidence others have in the country. I know you believe no good can come out of Nigeria but the country made you didn't it? I don't have the means to travel out, nor property to sell to do so. My plan is to make the best of what is around me and succeed. If anyone has the means to leave Nigeria for better opportunities, fine do so. You aren't accountable to anyone's opinions and your kids won't have much interest in listening to why you didn't succeed. So do what you have to do. I still believe Nigeria will get better, when we stop believing, we can be rest assured the end has come. . This is wonderful. |

In developing countries, technologists, scientists, engineers, technicians and craftmen have there different jobs to do in the manufacture of a machine or device. In such countries, the technologist have the same value in the labour market as the scientist and the engineer. A technologist is a polytechnic graduate, while an engineer is a university graduate. However, in Nigeria there is this discrimination between the technologists and the engineers in the labour market. Why is this so? Is it because we have not reached to the level of manufacturing sophisticated machines and devices like, cars, lathe machines e.t.c hence the discrimination, or is it just the african mentality. |

venorite: HOW LONG How long shall our people continue to wallow in poverty while a selected few are getting richer? How long will the president and his household continue to eat #1billion while our people die of starvation? How long shall we continue to suffer and smile? How long shall our federal and state roads continue to kill our people? How long shall our airplanes continue to fall from the skies while several billions are budgeted for the aviation industry yearly? How long will how politicians continue to ethicize everything by using our national dallies which is supposed to be our eyes and ears as weapons for ethnic battle thereby turning us into ethnic bigots? How long shall our senates continue to receive billions as salaries and allowances and continue to make laws that favor them and their friends? How long will our Judges continue to collect money and influence decisions to favor the highest bidder? How long will our police continue to kill innocent citizens in the name of involuntary discharge, you also see our police and soldiers smoking Indian hemp in public places. How long will our soldiers continue to punish innocent citizens that wear camouflage but cannot fight Boko haram to a standstill? How long will INEC continue to promise us free and fair election but still end up rigging the same election? How long will our pastors and imams continue to extort us in the name of tithe and offerings? How long will foreigners continue to enslave us in our own country? How long will our telecommunication giants continue to deduct money when we recharge our phones with our hard earned money and still provide quack services to us? How long will it take us to understand that PDP, APC, APGA, LP, PPA and all political parties in Nigeria are all the same? How long will our lecturers continue to demand for sex and money in exchange for marks and at the same time go on strike for not being paid for doing nothing? Our hospitals are in shambles and our politicians fly off to other countries with better Medicare to receive treatment for their headache and stomach aches while our people die of serious sicknesses. When did it get to this? Where are we heading with this? There is so much going on that if I continue; we might not have an end to this piece. You see a girl of 15 years dating a boy of 18years.for Christ sake, what are they supposed to gain from such relationships? A house divided can never stand, Nigeria is our home. We need to come together as a nation to fight these things, we need a revolution or one day we might have no country to call ours.
God bless us all God bless the federal republic of Nigeria. . This guy self. Nawao. |

Gbawe: They are now complaining. Only in Nigeria. Did these shallow and opportunist profiteers, with nil power sector knowledge, not do their feasibility study to see what they are getting into? Wait, I forget it was AGIPs, oligarchs and callous profit-seekers who won ' transparent bids' for conceded power Stations and utilities.
I stand vindicated. Anyone can check the archives to see I talked of the danger of how "pseudo-privatisation" may be all GEJ will deliver given the ultra-corrupt and amoral "awon boyz" government he leads that is midwifing the "privatisation" of our power sector. Everyone heard "privatisation" and the premature jubilation began. We all forget that numerous evidence, far too many to count, show that the current PDP government , just like others before it, is the sort to cynically bastardize and ruin processes by putting personal aggrandizement above everything else . This is why every institution tha should be independent in Nigeria today remains heavily compromised and unable to delivey. What, as I argued in the past, was wrong with giving, as first line solution in a true federalism, Nigerian States the freedom to device their own electrification solution As Fashola, Amaechi and other serious Governors demanded? Instead we had Abdusalami, a soldier turned Politician, and his rapacious layman sort 'winning' bids all over the place. Not good at all. It was always going to end in tears. Nigerians, enjoy your "privatisation". You deserve it for thinking thieves could care about you when their actions show they live to fleece you. I sincerely hope the "privatisation" of the power sector works for Nigeria but excuse me for being cynical. . anti-goodluck . we just dey watch. very soon una go hug transformer. fresh air till 2019. look at the displays below. in pieces
