Okay, replying you.

Hello @greatlady234 I was directed to your profile by mamajojo when I was asking about self employed. I'm so happy I found someone of similar situation. Please I need your assistance on how you went about it. I am yet to find the procedure on CIC, I've searched but still can't find any direct info.

Will appreciate your assistance. I sent you a PM will be grateful if you can respond.

Thanks.

Congrats Madam. Thanks for inspiring self employed applicants like yourself. Please could you put up your timeline?. Thank you

@Greatlady234

This is the way i was feeling this morning. When Ralph replied eligibility not initiated on June 11th, i didnt even bother waking up by 2am to check mail inbox, spam folder, do a search in my mail with CPC and IRCC ( keyword search), check my profile.

My Canada walk started in 2016,my husband wasnt so interested. I did his Wes, followed up on Transcript with his school, etc. I soft pedalled till 2017 when i started writing IELTS. IELTS humbled me sha, I wrote 5times!!!(I felt funny because writing was always spoiling my grades at 6.5...i initially thought it was 4times ,while gathering my documents for Submission I discovered another result!. At the 5th attempt ...9, 8.5, 7,8.5 my tutor was not happy but i was464!

ITA Nov 15th
AOR jan 12th
Mep Feb 20th
ADR Feb 23rd ( UK PCC for hub...i initially did an LOE that it was not ready at submission date)uploaded within an hour of ADR
then waiting.......

Yes,you can as a self employed baker because you have your qualifications and also a baker. That's what I used. All the best

Hello everyone,so I got my PPR on June 14th (Yay!!!)and it's been very busy trying to sort things out in preparation but I have to give back to the place I got so much information from.

My NOC is 6332(Baker) self employed, I was worried because I researched and never saw anyone with that code. Am a qualified professional but that's where I could earn points. Basically, seen alot of people asking questions about bakers,I submitted as proof were

Tax clearance ( I have been paying my tax over the years as it's a requirement to get contracts with some established brands),

reference letters from old customers, new customers and suppliers,Some of them had commended me on social media for jobs I had done and added their social media links and phone numbers

Company( yes,I had an incorporated business) bank statements that showed transactions with those customers and suppliers ( I am also sole signatory to account)

Certificate of baker related trainings attended, CAC documents and Lagos state bakers association membership certificate ( forgot to add my membership ID card)

POF proof and my personal account statement

Overall I prayed and fasted

Please note that since I started the process I have been consistent in paying myself salary(2yrs no default even when business was tight),so this will reflect in my personal account.

*I also tried to have more regular posts on Instagram after AOR. They called my company line to make enquiries because my staff reported a foreign number +1.... Called and was asking questions about what we do,thank God he answered well( I pretended it wasn't relevant while he was talking but I was so happy he spoke well)

To everyone trying to use this NOC, I hope these points help. All the best !! Thank you to all that shared freely here

If you're talking about a skilled trades application, that's a totally different ball game. But if you're talking about express entry, then WES is generally okay, except in specific cases that require specific evaluations.

How is it different, please enlighten me

Does the stylist have a degree? Or are there other qualifications peculiar to stylists?

She has several certificates. Wes should do right? She just wants to be sure so no money is wasted and things are done right from the beginning.

Guys pls advise. This is my first time of writing my result is L7.5, R7.5, W6, S7.5

My CRs is 425

Should I just write another?

Considering the number of people going through this route, it's best to have a very high score. I suggest you create a profile, while you register and prepare for another exam. Aim for the highest scores in IELTS and increase your chances of a quick ITA. All the best!

Hello. I’m here again. Please candid advice.
Which would you suggest I create a profile with
My certificate as a lawyer (done law school too)
A baker
A business owner ( I have a registered company , But don’t have a company bank account because of a few glitches)

As a lawyer, have you been practising?

As a baker,do you have letter of employment or all registration documents if it's self owned. Have you been paying your tax?

Business owner,do you have receipts or evidence of payment from your clients. How about tax clearance?

Medicals: 17th September, 2018
Medicals passed: 30th October, 2018.
Biometrics: 31st, October, 2018. (only me, she still have valid biometric).
ADR: for letter of consent from me regarding parts of the POF in my name; 5th December, 2018.

PPR!!!: grin 31st January, 2019.
Ottawa VO

AOR to PPR: 121days (4 months approx.)

Documents submitted

1. Marriage certificate
2. Employer's reference letter (CIC) standard,
3. Her SOA
4. Letter of no indebtedness for her credit card.
5. My 6months SOA from two banks (this is because I transferred bulk amount from my GTB to Stanbic-IBTC to makeup the amount there.
6. TB certificate
7. Letter of no indebtedness from GTB (Stanbic-IBTC no gree give me this one).
8. Gift deed from parents.
9. Letter of no objection from me.
10. Her MSc.
11. Our PCC (note she didn't use Canadian PCC, both are done here in Nigeria).
12. LOE (we used this basically for clarification, like explaining the over lapping dates in my history, etc).

We entered 1P2 from day one of AOR

ADR: 5th December, 2018. and submitted 7th December, 2018. This showed NA just few hours after upload. Later changed to "we're reviewing the additional document you provided" around 25th January, 2019.

NB. We ain't sure why the ADR cos we had submitted same letter that was requested. Although the 1st letter of consent from me wasn't notarized. We had to notarize it and resubmitted same.

It wasn't easy for us. My wife (Sweetgirl, as I humbly call her) travelled since August 2017 for study. We were dealing with staying alone without each other, which was unexplainable. To make the matter worse, we lost my job on March 2018 and my side hustle wasn't steady. Well you can only imagine the emotional trauma.
At a point, around early December last year "i" stopped checking our CIC account, nairaland and even Facebook group page. This is because "I" needed to take my mind off this and handed it over to God.

Wait a minute, did we tell you that it affected my health?
Oh yes, it did. No wife, No work and No PPR. Chaii! It's well.

When she informed me that our application has been approved with the recorded call she made with IRCC agent, I didn't understand it honestly, but after some time while on the video call with her, I found myself dropping tears. cry cry cry

After about 2hours from the time she called CIC on the said 31th January, 2019, at about 17:32pm GMT, THE GOLDEN EMAIL DROPPED. grin grin grin
Na so your brother in the Lord lost it in praise, no key, no Davidic note or octave your brother no sing that day ooo! grin grin grin

We ordered GCMS note which should be due by 15th of this month. Well they can keep it and also the change. Lol!
Anyways, the GCMS note was at 0$ cos it's free when you apply from Canada.

Well from our experience and other people's experiences, I can say that the preparation, application processing duration and positive outcome is all by God's Grace 100%.

However, please make the work easy for the VO by submitting a simple but detailed documents.

I only wish we all we continue this way in Canada by sharing information without bringing our Nigerianess along.
Na so Chinko people take dominate Canny-land ooo.

To all those still considering starting the process, please take a leap of faith IF IT'S GOD'S WILL FOR YOU. ECA (WES) dey call your name o.

Congratulations!!!!! Happy for you
Congratulations to all PPR clinchers!
I love hearing good news...

Please let's have more details. A priest of what church/denomination? Based in which country?

You're going to pay the money to him, or he's connecting you to an agent?

DO you really know this priest or you know somebody that knows him?

Any idea what types of job on the line? The story can be believable if the job in question is talking-drummer or atilogun dance instructor.

Lolllzz. I actually could not believe Tojued took it seriously until I saw atilogun dance instructor .

That priest needs to be reported. If I were the one,I will change my parish. What other "information" will he be feeding people?

if you are not a lawyer i think you should use WES or ICES. the waiting time of IQAS is draining with the current trend

I am a lawyer,I used Wes. Please use IQAS. You get a higher Canadian equivalent with IQAS...masters.I had to add my law school evaluation yet it didn't get masters equivalent. The wait is worth the extra points

Hello, please when you applied, did you get a tracking number? My wife applied late last year and it was dispatched earlier this month, but we have received it.

Not a tracking number but a file number . What package did you pay for? I did standard , then international courier...almost £100. It was stated that it would take 10days. If you have gotten a notification that it has been dispatched, be patient, it will come soon.

All the best!
