First of all
It doesn't make sense for ones hard earned money or project to be used to testing or experiment.

But then when hajji created this forum years ago, I am sure that the first and most important reason was for this space to be a sort of. Learning centre. Where engineers and home owners can have first of information on practices, ways and insights on the construction industry.

One thing I can say is that
Nobody got it all from his or her master/supervisor.
Inshort you don't learn it all from sch or from your master.
I am sure most of us will agree that. Most of the things we learned are by trial and error, researching and experimenting.
