What is this obsession and blind hatred for the south east?
Whether they have the largest or smallest gas reserves is not important.
These people want to leave. Let them go in peace so that the rest of Nigeria can get to renegotiating their existence.
Na wetin?!
Pharoah! Let the South East go. They have proven that they are a capable lot. With or without gas reserves. Biafra will thrive.
So also, a Nigeria with 50 million less population of people who hate it with every fibre of their being.
It can be a win -win for both sides.
Enough!

Politics / Re: Northern Groups: Allow Igbos Exit Nigeria Now Through Peaceful Referendum by GreenArrow1(m): 5:42pm On Jun 15, 2021
pansophist:

Now take a look at the old and current pseudo Nigerian region, isn't it geographically reasonable to include cross river state with south east ? Look how they canned and intentionally landlocked the igbos with this dubious regional devide, with the desperate hope that in the event of future secession, the igbos would have to deal with a landlocked country, and not free at the end afterall (eg Lesotho). Meanwhile, the Eastern region of Nigeria during Ojukwu period includes all off south south.

We shall see how this goes, because as far as I and anyone with reasonable sense is concerned, south south is part of Biafra. Their plan will not work. The only time Nigeria was ruled justly was between 1960 to 1967, and the civil war was the last attempt to stop the monster that have destroyed the country, but unfortunately, every other region was asleep then, and now, the monster have grown so big that the whole nation has become its lunch, not just the Igbos.

See victim mentality na. 100%

You must be dreaming. They are helping you to ask for referendum now. What you should do is amplify that plea and stop trying to tell people of a country what to do to foreigners once you are no longer part of that nation.

(2) 15,000 innocent youths abducted by army police DSS tortured and summarily executed in underground prisons as far as katsina

Lol. Nothing is too big for Biafra. This is a small price to pay.
Police too suffered in the hands of your fellow gunmen. So it's 50:50. No victor, no vanquished. More to come.
Politics / Re: Igbos Are The Smartest, Richest And Bravest Tribe In Nigeria. by GreenArrow1(m): 6:40am On Jun 12, 2021
You might have created this thread to mock the Igbos, but you are wrong. Igbos are one of the most successful tribes in the country and would excel very well in their Biafra. Make no mistake about that. A people torn down by war, who bounced back again to control the medium and small scale economics of this country are not to be joked with.
The dissapointment with their Biafran agitation however, is that they seem to not want to rise up in uniform, vacate other parts of Nigeria, head back to the South East, severe all ties with the rest of Nigeria and declare sovereignty.
They want it handed over to them, on a platter. This is not bravery at all.
As if that isn't enough, they seem to hold on to an illusion that because they have ethnic minorities of Igbo extraction existing in some other parts of regions close to them, they automatically have the right to annex those regions. This is what would lead to a war which will be devastating for both parties involved but most especially the South East.
The implied assertion that the actualization of a Biafra must also be followed by the total collapse of the Nigerian state is also mere wishful thinking and not the perogative of those who seek secession.
Waiting for the Nigerian government to call on neutral bodies to undertake a referendum is another non -starter. By now, veritable and smile Igbo youths should have been mobilized everywhere in the region, organizing, rallying and sensitizing the people in preparation for the first unofficial referendum which would lead to subsequent ones pursuant to the declaration of a sovereign state of Biafra.
Now, those who were mere on -lookers in the past, who have now since realized the many positives a new Nigeria with a reduction of over 50 million men, women and children in population, might offer, have had a change of heart and are championing the calls for Biafra, certain Igbo elements have started tagging as Biafra agitators with ulterior motives.
What ulterior motives? Just imagining the wide gap in business opportunities which would be left open to be filled by 50 million other Nigerians is enough to give anyone sleepless nights. The good kind.
And that is just in one aspect.
All these with just a negligee loss in land mass, not bigger than Borno state.
I dare say it is worth it.
While one must call on the Igbo youths to rally a clarion call to all and sundry that a new day is here in the actualization of Biafra, one must also call on the youths in other parts of Nigeria to sensitize the masses on the monumental advantages which would come with the declaration of Biafra and the subsequent evacuation of the Igbos from other parts of the country. It can be a win -win situation for both countries involved - a Biafra positioned for astounding greatness, and a new Nigeria, rising from the ashes with new possibilities and most importantly, more room to breathe economically.
Happy democracy day all.

Huge achievement by them. I wonder what any Federal parastatal (not just security) are still doing in the South East. The people obviously do not want you. Why not leave and give them their country in peace? In 100 years time, those guys will still not like you. Vacate the region and let those of the, resident in other regions vacate back to the East so that they can them get on with the business of building a prosperous Biafra for them and their generations unborn.
It's not by force abeg.
Can the Nigerian government for once just open it' sees to the huge opportunities which would accrue to the youths of this country if Biafra is granted the Igbos? Buhari is a dunce walahi!

Northern Nigeria has declared war on us..but we are pretending and making it look as if they are murdering Unknown gun men..
They keep saying we should device a peaceful means of expressing our grievances. Yet, they don't want peace and they are killing innocent people. While in the North, they pay them And pet them.

Northern Nigerian were the ones who went to police stations and started killing police officers in your region abi?
If the bandits up north were given free hands to operate, they would have spread and even overrun your region by now. Your gross ignorance would not see all the various efforts put up by those in other regions to stem the tide of these bandits seeing that we have a very in adequate security system.
You guys set up ESN, we hailed you, chased a few Fulani herdsmen and after burning about two round huts in the forests, turned them into UGM which you guys worship, and then started killing police officers and other security personnel. The same unprofessional police and army with a very dark human rights record.
What were you expecting in return if not the massacre of innocent and guilty citizens alike?
You price market, dem sell am give you. What do you want us to do?
You will kill them, they will kill you also. Know this and know peace. At the end of the day, if that actualizes Biafra, then you've won. There will be time to heal in your new country.
Not coming to NL to cry whenever your side losses a few souls. Get used to stuff like these and have peace.

How possible or foolish can dy b wen we just heard over 50,000 ESN have been recruited so why on Earth will dey send just 5 of dere boys wit 4 Ak47 rifles to attack a city or a police command headquarters in broad day light. See dere coloured civilian clothes. And again why do dy always put those Nigerian military camouflage beside diz innocent civilian. I have noticed dt diz military clothes in one picture is almost dsame and new looking like d ones in every other pictures dt d Nigerian army has been releasing before now.
