XXXXTENTACION: And yet, your people are littered like flies in EVERY single one of those "tattared regions" buying up lands and making long term investments with absolutely no plan of vacating those places anytime soon. The way you lot insult your hosts ehn, continue. No one is holding you back o. I personally support Biafra and the subsequent evacuation of all your people from those regions back to your country and wish y'all good luck. It's not a hard thing to do at all. Just pack up and go. Very simple. You need the rest of us more than we will ever need you. You might reply this with the usual insults (sadly you guys aren't trained better than that by your parents). However, the daily actions of your people migrating to the furthermost regions of this country and planting roots there speaks more volume on who needs who than the tantrums of a few anonymous monikers on nairaland. Kiss that truth. Now, go on and represent your family values by replying with insults. Your papa train you well. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Odide009: Vacate the lands you presently occupy and head back to your Biafra. Seal off Niger bridge and declare sovereignty and see if the rest of us won't come out enmasse to warn the federal government not to encroach on your new country. Who is stopping you from moving? |

oluwatunechi: That isn't my problem. They should just declare Biafra already so we can concentrate on other things. Burning police stations and killing security forces and scoring own goals within the region are just half -hearted measures which won't achieve the supreme goal. I look forward to a formal declaration of the Sovereign state of Biafra, the severing of ties with anything Nigerian, the mass exodus of Biafrans from ALL parts of Nigeria to their new country and then finally the closure of borders -land, sea and air and the prosperity of both countries going forward. Anything short of these is just mere tantrums. A point of note to those who fan the embers of this crises from regions within Nigeria other than the SE, "don't get comfortable where you are." Y'all will be needing VISAs real soon. 2 Likes |

Badabada: There will be no civil war. The rest of Nigeria can't afford one. Grant the Igbos their country and let the rest of us get to fixing what remains of Nigeria. Where the problem would arise from would be when those resident in various parts of the country refuse to follow the eviction notices which would be speedily served them. Nevertheless, that problem would be settled by the host communities involved. 1 Like |

kingthreat: See, keep that respect aside and look at these nairaland threads on the current happenings in the east and the subsequent online rhetoric for what they are: A concerted strategy at pushing a particular narrative. You've offered advise upon advise and each time met with what? That is because behind the scenes, those you think you are having a conversation with are actually part of a war propaganda machine, doing their day jobs and getting whatever rewards due from it. I echo the words of the vice president Yemi Osinbajo whenever I make that statement. And however you choose to look at it, it is the stark naked reality of what is bound to happen. When you talk about warfare (which has started already on various fronts), you keep morality aside and state the facts for what they are. The actualization of Biafra would be one less problem for whatever remains of the geographical expression called Nigeria to deal with. True or false? The mass exodus of the Igbos who control the economy of this country and have a larger population of their citizens resident outside of the South East (even though they fail to realize this) would leave a very wide space for other Nigerians to fill, thereby improving the economic index per -capita. True or false? The actualization of Biafra, if the actions offline/online by the majority of them would grant the heart desires of that particular ethnic group, WHATEVER the cost. True or false? Innocent people will die in any armed insurrection in any part of the world. True or false? Why then, would anyone not support that ambition since the slogan is "Biafra or death." A war for secession and cultism are not even closely related. I will always support the actualization of a sovereign Biafran nation. That much is true. The fastest way to end a protracted conflict is to encourage the speedy expedition of this current process. There'll be less bloodshed there in. Try to pacify a people to not do something when they are already started and your chances of success are pretty slim. There are already losses on both sides and there will be further losses regardless of how much we want to wish it away. This is not child's play. 1 Like 1 Share |

Too bad. Reminds me of the saying about ant infested woods and Lizards. May the souls of all the departed lost on both sides in this South Eastern clamour for freedom find rest. At the end of the day once Biafra is achieved, all these would have been worth it. Before you quote me, remember, war isn't fair to anyone. Many more stories like this will come about non-combatants killed on both sides. That's a small price to pay for your freedom. Fight on guys. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

mrvitalis: The only tribe worth mentioning are the super intelligent, business -savvy Igbo being held back forcefully by the Nigerians. They should be let to leave. They don't wanna be here anymore. Why is that not sinking in? My friend Kennedy keeps telling me how he is ready to forgo all he has built here and leave, never to return once Biafra is declared. He tells me that almost everyone holds the same conviction. What greater passion is there? I support the creation of Biafra, the land of the rising Sun. ...and that's what is important. I yearn for it, I hope that day comes soon because it will be a win -win for both parties involved. Freedom! |

mrvitalis: Anyone who opposes the creation of Biafra and the subsequent mass eviction of the foreigners from other parts of this contraption called Nigeria is not smart and thinking of the vast business opportunities those two actions will open up. Imagine a country with over 50 million less population with a negligible loss in land mass. That is the breather Nigeria needs right now. Any smart Nigerian would support the creation of Biafra as I currently am. Pharaoh! Let the Igbos go. |

Beautiful sight to behold. They kept their guns aside but very nearby I guess. Nigeria should grant the Igbos their Biafra ASAP. Haba! We have enough to deal with as it is. When the millions of Igbo's resident in other parts of the country vacate en-masse to their country, various opportunities (mostly economic) will open up in the whatever remains of Nigeria thereby providing a much needed breather to the fragile economy. Less population and one less insurgency to deal with. How are we not seeing how positive this would be? Do not restructure. Outrightly grant Biafra and let everyone leave for their regions. We can't have ISWAP, Herdsmen Bandits and Igbos to battle at the same time. Pharaoh, let these people go! 9 Likes |

Kingspin: No other alternative. Give them Biafra, simple and short. Nigeria as it is has enough challenges already. Any group that decides to secede through violence like the Igbo's presently have, should be let to go so that government and the people will have less security challenges to deal with. Government should, for once, think about the gamut of opportunities, mostly business-wise, which will be available to other Nigerians once Biafra is granted and the Igbo's vacate the Nigerian territories. It will be a win-win for both sides. I wonder why these Abokis are so scared. |

topboss:Exactly. So let's not all act surprised about it. It's a chain reaction. It goes on and on. There will be painful losses on both sides. Not all of them fair. Once your freedom is achieved in the end, it will be worth it. In 67, millions of women and children were killed, freedom was not achieved. It wasn't worth it. This time I believe it will be worth it. Just don't expect the fight to be fair from both sides. Best of luck to you guys. |

MajorOvakporaye: It doesn't matter. Who don die don die. What's the difference between who those of you who praise the gunmen and the actual gunmen? We all know the police are cowards. Their present reaction is to be expected. Expect more killings of innocent people. Small price to pay for freedom. As far as you get the freedom in the end. Be strong. More police to die, more of you guys to die too. It's a war and not a game of whot. |

Princewell2012: The biggest trait of cowardice is not owning up to your actions. MNK is spewing fire and brimestone and the least you can do is give him credit for these successful attacks. These gunmen have the tacit backing of their people across the region which means that the armed and unarmed in the entire region have the same goal and are working towards it. If this is the way by which Biafran sovereignty wills achieved, then so be it. Let's not hide from the truth abeg. 1 Like |
