foundation walls,the internal walls are four blocks high while the external walls are three blocks high, the fourth block on the external walls is a 9"x9" beam used to tie all the pillars on the external walls, it's shown on the pics.

more foundation excavation pics

Foundation depth is 1 metre (3ft). the excavation took us more than a week due to the highly stone nature of the terrain, we eventually employed some local women and their children to sieve the sand for smaller stones which is been used as gravel while they pack the larger sized stones on an adjoining plot and hand break it every Saturday for gravel.

The same bight gave name to Benin kingdom in edo state. And for Niger, Niger state and Nigeria, you should know that they are all named after the river Niger. Mention a country in Africa and I promise to give you the origin of the country name that has something to do with such country

But the ish with you guys claiming the name biafra that's not close to your region is a plot to mischievously steal other's land

yes, bare cement plaster on a concrete floor, since tiling of bathroom floors became fashionable in Nigeria, the number of bathroom slip and fall accidents have increased astronomically, i once read somewhere that about one person dies everyday in America from slip and fall on a wet tiles floor.

two days ago, there was a thread here about the scam called state housing in Lagos with many people wailing about how they paid their 30% part running into millions of naira and the state government locked with their money, now fashola wants to repeat the same scam at the federal level. forty units is too small to make an impact and i guess that fashola would use 138 million to drill each borehole there and 78 million to design each website per block without signing checks? una neva shee shom tin.

it's a rented apartment, the point is that you don't need tiles to maintain a clean bathroom.

As i said ealier its a matter of choice .i don't see any advantage or disadvantage in tiling up to 6~7 ft moreover the average height of man is not up to 7ft so i don't see how splashes can mess up the upper portion of the wall .

i grew up in a flat with the bathroom tiled up only from under the window downward (5 feet) and it doesn't look dirty and my current bathroom doesn't even have a single tile and doesn't look dirty either. it's just a matter of choice and pocket size. what i would never have in my house is tiles on the bathroom floor.

i think d reason why ipob suspend their protest is because of xmas, otherwise, i think dis is d right time for d protest to hold serious water coz d world is taking note.
