This reminds me of my story. Quite similar to yours but I was somehow smarter and determined to make it more than you did. Read my story .

After my ND, poverty was too much though I was working, my salary wasn't anything to go by. Luckily for me, I got a bank job on Friday and asked to resume on Monday in another very far town in the East precisely. Note that I am a lady and didn't know anyone in that town but believed all would be well.

All I had on me was 15,000 naira. I didn't know what to do so I decided to follow night bus to my new station in order to save money and I booked for standing as the money would be quite cheaper and that was how I stood throughout the night, wearing my old suit that my sister dashed me which was to be my resumption uniform and I was to wear this daily with one other rough looking one for the next two months.

I landed at the place, re arranged my hair and rubbed powder with my little luggage.

My survival technique was that I went and told my CSM a cock and bull story of how we were robbed on my way and dispossessed of all my cash and I really didn't have anything to survive with so I would be grateful if he would lend me some cash. He asked me how much I wanted, I said 20k to pay back after I got my first salary and that was it! He gave me the money and I was super excited.

After that, someone introduced me to a family over there and I started sleeping there and that was how the job started o.

My inability to wear nice clothes became a thing of mockery in the branch but I kept my head up till I got my salary before I started buying suits.

Note that I wasn't a slay queen but a very decent girl so I didn't have any body to support me but through it all, I was diligent and hard working. Let me not forget to add that the first house I rented was a mud house... Story that touches but I thank God for who I am today.

It is sad to note that no one really cares much about about women after giving birth to their babies. Does that mean that they don't really need to be cared for?

There once lived a King in Nigeria, the Southwestern part, Ibadan to be precise, who stood for Christ and shut the mouth of the devil.

Oba Sir Isaac Babalola Akinyele, KBE (18 April 1882 – 30 May 1964) was the first educated Olubadan (non-hereditary traditional ruler) of Ibadan, and the second Christian to ascend the throne.

I am an Engineer. I studied in Nigeria as well. What I realize is that Nigerians don't like using their brains to think technically.

If you check well, even Nigerians who studied Engineering abroad are the same as the ones who studied at home. They either become musicians or entrepreneurs. I believe we are being taught the same thing as the whites.

For instance, we were all taught acceleration due to gravity right from secondary school, laws of motion, we solved countless number of equations on bearings, did a lot of map readings, learnt about weightlessness , streamlining, etc. plus every single thing learned in higher institution. My brother, what more do you need to learn in order to manufacture an air plane?

Air plane is even too much. Take washing machine as another example. Science students were taught circular motions in rev/min, you know the function of timed circuits and their principle of operations, sensors etc. Do you know that the white guy combined this knowledge to design this machine?

Nigerians would rather wait for you to come and announce that the topic for today is how to manufacture an aeroplane...

Oga let me be frank with you and if I am wrong, correct me.

First of all, you are someone who nags alot and always focus on the wrong things your wife does but seldom appreciate her for the good ones. This makes her angry and she may have discussed with you but you have refused to stop.

Secondly, you always or sometimes tell her how terrible she is and that you shouldn't have married her if not your mother that forced you. This is an unpardonable sin against any woman.

She isn't happy that you don't love her and don't hesitate to rub it in her face.

Another reason is that you hardly help out with house chores, reminding her every time that you are the head of the home even when it's obvious that she needs help.

You are not as romantic as you used to be when you were not married to her and always reporting her to her family or yours, which she dislikes and may have told you severally but you are not ready to change.

You want her to stop doing what you don't want but have never cared to stop doing what she doesn't want.

The list is long and the bottom line is that you don't care much about her and you feel she is your subordinate while you are the boss and you are not ready to accept her weaknesses. Always comparing her with your Mother or expecting her to be an ideal woman and be 100 percent perfect which is not happening .

You also find it difficult to sit down and discuss with her on how to make your marriage work since you are the "boss", why would you descend to that level with her? You ask.

These are the possible causes of her frustration and anger especially if you don't appreciate her.

Please amend your ways and watch your marriage work again if the above are true of you.

I've never been happy for almost 8 years of marriage with 3 wonderful kids.I wake up everyday asking God how I got entangled with the worse woman I've ever met in my life.
