Oga, 0.5% of N20,000 is N100 not N1,000. This POS has the cheapest charges in the market right now.
Is your POS still available?

Oga, check it well. Which POS gives you less than N30 for transfers and 0.5% for withdrawals? This POS has the cheapest charges in the market right now. And the POS is only N15,500 not even upto N70,000 like other POS.
Is this offer still on?

I don't understand oga lecturer.

Sometimes the way some of you talk, you to with such certainty as if you can quantify where, how and when these resources will be exhausted.

I personally think we are not even doing enough to utilize what we have and yet some people are here telling us otherwise.
I agree I didn't carry out a though research on Brazil, but that not withstanding. We were rated along side Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore in the 70s ,but today are any where close to these countries?
The metrics for measuring how a nation is successful are heavily tilted in our favour, but the thing still remains that many questions are still begging for answers.

We have far more arable lands and resources to cater for our needs than some of you would want us to believe.
We have many quarry and even cement factories making use of our stones (in Edo state)for many years now, but are really getting enough from it?

Resources or the finite or lack of it has not been our problem, but poor and lack of efficient management.
This resources you mentioned are exhaustible, they are finite and they deplete faster as the number of people increases. I agree with you that our resources are not properly managed or harnessed but that does not give the excuse that what we have now is even enough for our current population.
The power being used by the whole of Nigeria is not even enough for only Port Harcourt given its estimated current population of one million persons. What we use for houses is not even fit for poultry in the advanced countries.
If we don't change our policies boko harm would be child's play to what is to come in the near future.
I'm not being pisimistic but I have the gift of foresight but sadly people don't believe me until it's too late to remedy the situation.
As early as 1977 I warned my parents about what would befall our economy but nobody believed me because the economy was booming.

Khaleell001:

The earth(our land mass) is wide enough to cater for need, but not for our greed.
Countries like Israel with their arid climate have converted their desert into farm and they are one of the biggest exporters of perishable food to Europe.
We have the resource, the climate and the man power to beat any country up there; but we just lack of sincerity ,laziness in attitude and will and lack of transparent management.

If you say we lack resources, it means you don't really know anything.
Even in my place Edo state, The granite we have alone,is enough to cater for the whole Niger delta IF properly managed.
But you know how we do things in this country.

We are not even taking about coal, zinc, bitumen, iron and many other resources aside farming that can even fetch us more.
Whoever is still saying we lack natural resources is just simply lying through their teeth.

Only farming alone can take us there, but lack of trust, greed, and transparency are some if our major bane.

We have countries with lesser resources doing more.
Brazil is more populated than Nigeria, but it has achieved more with less when compared to Nigeria.

There are many countries we ought to be competing with today,.

I don't know if you understand the meaning of resources.
The land mass of Brazil is nearlwten times the size of Nigeria. Educate yourself properly.
This "enough resources for everyone" mentality is the bane of our economic problems.

Nigeria- Demographic facts:
Total area square mile- 356,669km
Estimated world population- 7,000,000,000
Area for a family of 4 (square mile)- 0.00008971
Estimated area for 7billion people (sq. mile)- 156,992.5
Percentage of unused land- 55.98%
Percentage of used land- 45.02%

The facts are:
1. First, let us start by assuming that there are 7billion people in the world today.

2. If the 7billion people should move into Nigeria, a family of 4 persons would comfortably be accommodated within a land area of 2,500 square feet(0.00008971 sq. miles)

Now, imagine a country of just 200million people

The Big Question is:
Where then is the overpopulation?

Overpopulation is at best a scam.
This is Ganduje kind of person and the type that people our political landscape.
Nothing upstairs.

With respect to scarce resources, it isn't... There's the question of GDP and Purchasing power parity.
Don't mind the dunce.
Why are people not living in Sahara desert. Even cows understand the meaning of scarce resources and this one that claims to have education could not.
I suggest bokoharam should be legalised and fed with this type of people for population control as we have failed to practise family planning.
What is the land mass of USA compared to their population of about 300 million people.

Greennotes:
The past weeks have been very eventful on the African continent vis-a-vis the effectiveness of mass actions that resulted in the changes in the governments of Algeria and Sudan. In both countries, the youth took the bull by the horn knowing that their future largely depends on the actions or inactions of those in power. In Sudan, universities have been shut while student, males and females, poured into the streets to protest. Even with the arrest of Al-Bashir, they have vowed to continue until the military hands over to a civilian government.

Now, compare the youth of these countries with the Nigerian youth. Young people in Nigeria seem too comfortable with the massive looting by people in government. In fact, the National Association of Nigerian Students has since joined the looting gang. Whenever they speak, they only do so in order to be handed their own share of the national loot which the politicians have faithfully done over time.

The average Nigerian youth has taken to crime, gambling and social media addiction. He has allowed popular entertainment to blind him to the dangers ahead. The politicians use ethnic and religious politics to divide and keep the youth in check. However, it is worthy to note that the evil that lies ahead will spare no one no matter the tribe, ethnicity or religion.

I ask, why is the Nigerian youth so quiet in the face of large scale official corruption, political violence and killings, spiralling unemployment and underemployment, ethic killings etc? Where, when and how did he lose his voice?
One of the few sensible post on this forum for s long time. I just hope you are a youth so that we elders can at least have the consolation that there are still few youths left who will try to pull the nation out of the shithole we are today.

Mr.dehvehlop, is very unfortunate that you can not differentiate between talent and education, please refer to your dictionary. Let me bring to your notice that Chinese did not attend greatness by virtue of illitacy or by their talent as you said.
The first education a Chinese man has is his language, while you are here struggling to learn how to speak English and your mother tongue.
For your information , the technological revolution that has engulfed the western world and Asia was deliberately acquired through knowledge not talent. And I had made it clear in my initial post that talent enhancement and circular education can go side by side. So I don't know what your problem is... Please don't send your children to school , send them to go and Kirk football around....may God have mercy on you.
Don't mind him. He's one of those who think that development is all about acquiring money. Japan, Korean south and Singapore did not get to where they are today by shunning education.
The downfall of our educational institutions and development was/is our penchant for shortcuts and thinking we can make it without putting in effort.
The real corruption in this country started by putting incompetent people in positions of authority.
God will not save us from this situation unless we make effort to save ourselves.

Please what breed or variety of moringa seed is this? I just planted it yesterday at the nursery level. When I sold from the parent stocks/trees last year, the buyer said it a very good local variety for it is big and brownish in colour but was unable to tell me what variety it falls. But with the price people are calling now, i think the buyer swindled me because he wanted to buy it at 700 naira per kilo but after negotiation we later finalised on 800 naira per kilo...I later learnt it usually goes between 1000 - 1300 naira per kilo

But Trump doesnt believe in Climate change.

All developed countries are paying lip service to the issue of reducing the usage of fossil fuels, which power their industries (and vehicles) to cleaner forms of energy, like solar energy.
The real problem with greenhouse gas emissions is with how we use fossil fuel as evidenced by our penchant for over indulgence.
The first automobile has less two HP of power but today individuals are driving single personal cars above 400 horses in power.
Imagine if we are still in pre-industrial period how ridiculous it would be for an individual to pull his cart with 400 horses just to show his affluence.
We are killing our earth but chose to live in self deceit.

has there ever been voting in rivers state?

when Wike got 1.4 million votes in 2015 was there voting?

yapping like a rabid mad dog won't stop the fact that results of 7 local governments called on March 9th had Awara winning massively until inec suspended it.

if you're only 10 percent smart you would know that it would have taken just a phone call from the presidency to stop inec from suspending the election.
